Yes, legacy Hornets received the 9X and AESA radars - I believe it was sometime after 2015 when that happened. (AESA)

I have to respectfully disagree with you here. Razbam clearly stated the version of the Mirage we were getting since prior to pre-purchase began. Razbam then went on to clearly state the condition of the Mirage at the start of early access and then laid out a rough framework of what they were planning to achieve. Overall I believe it took longer than they originally planned; they did keep us informed during the entire process. I actually think that Razbam did an outstanding job of how they handled it. That's not to say I didn't wish things happened at a faster pace.

They have not finalized that decision. I believe that is the most likely route.

First download DCS World 2.0.x to use NTTR. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/downloads/world/alpha/ Once that is downloaded and installed you can launch DCS and then go into your module manager and download all modules that are tied to your account. (granted you have to login first)

90% of your uses will benefit more from more RAM. I've yet to find a situation where I personally would have benefitted from faster RAM. I say go for the 32Gb, to be more "future proof" with DCS and other programs.

I hope they keep it under wraps until announcing when pre-sales start. They've already shown an early WIP of their ground mapping radar using DBS. Based on the lot number we should see the APG-73 Phase II modeled with the ability to render medium res SAR mapping and including GTMI. There's no reason to pester ED for more info until we get much closer to release.

There can be countless issues that popup unexpected that can cause delays. Let's take another look shall we? Let's say that if they continued working on all modules in parallel as it "appears," that things have been proceeding in the last year or so, that it would be 5 months worth of work without any releases. So ED then takes a look and says, well if we re-prioritize we can get 'x' out by 'y' date and those resources can then be diverted to 'z'. This is how things work. So now 'x' can be out in 1 month and 'z' moves ahead of schedule as well. This continues until their projects are done and they move on to the next set of projects within ED / TFC.

One thing I would try off hand is verifying your power settings on your computer. Ensure that you are not using any Power Saver or Balanced settings. There should be an option for Performance, select that and see if it helps.

Do you mean switched to the Su-27S for DCS World or are they still looking at a DCS module with PFM / ASM?

Speaking of which, I forgot all about the DCS Su-27SM.... Hopefully after the F-18C goes into early access we can start to get some info about that module if recent events haven't left a "bad taste in ED's mouth."

ED is a Russian company, it is only reasonable that they would be more "free" with their efforts in the Russian boards. They don't prevent you from viewing said boards... Sorry, I just have to disagree with you... You were told that they believed they could get certain aspects of DCS ready by the end of the year. You are also told many times that it was a best guess and not a promise. You have also been told many times that only after a module goes into pre-purchase can you start marking dates on a calendar. Bait and Switch is a specific legal term; there is no bait and switch here. Does it suck that DCS F-18C may be delayed even further than many of us anticipated - you bet! Did I have my hopes up for DCS 2.5 / F-18C / Carrier module this year - guilty as charged. Are some of those still possible, sure. We can be discouraged; we do have to keep things in perspective. We have yet to be given a date for any of the new releases. All ED representatives have always stated they were shooting for "by the end of the year." That never translated into "we got some awesome Christmas presents for you." Again, it sucks - it really does. It is NOT the end of the world. Patience will be your greatest asset in the coming weeks / months. Imagine if they released the DCS F-18C today and there was a major bug that appeared when switching between A/G and A/A radar... Just imagine how some in the community would be in an uproar. If ED needs more time, they need more time. The only argument, if you want to call it that, would be that it would be welcomed if Ed acknowledged delays earlier and more often and helped set expectations of an over-zealous community. (people would still bitch and complain about that, so that is probably why they don't do it) After this recent "spat" I can see ED damn-near closing the lid on development updates until right before releases. We've been down that road before and the lack of communication is beyond frustrating. I hope ED does not take that approach.

Most missions will be created with 1.5 (at the moment) with the Caucus map, as that is free with DCS World. Soon 1.5 and 2.0 will merge into 2.5. **Edit** That is official missions from developers. You can always find various missions for 2.0 that were user created.

Yes, they will all be playable on their respective terrain. I imagine there will be some changes needed by the authors of missions/campaigns due to the new content in NTTR and Caucus being revamped. I would, personally, expect some short-term growing pains with content created prior to 2.5.
