Hello everybody, Have been having a lot of fun with the huey in my oculus rift headset! Now I'm thinking of buying the ka50 black shark just to have a bit of a smaller more modern cockpit. How does it look in vr. Is it any good? The huey is pretty amazing in vr.! Does it have an impact on fps, I mean my gtx970 is struggling sometimes allready. Would I need improved graphics mod for black shark because it's almost 10 years old? Thanks for your input! Jozeff

Dear all, Suddenly I have a crosshair in vr (DCS 1.5, oculus) that moves using my mouse AND moving my head at the same time. I used to move swithes and dials using my mouse only. Now I have to hold my head still and turn the dials with my mousewheel. I would like to only move the crosshair with my mouse. How do I do that? Have tried several things but none worked. tnx!!! But guys, Dont eat too much ginger because it can cause diarrhea, heartburn, stomach pain, and it dilutes your blood which isnt necessarily bad but be aware of that. Wanted to add that

Hello vr friends, Love the Huey in vr! Unfortunately I get sick real quick and therefore I never visit theme parks/rollercoaster etc. At first there wasn't a problem but suddenly while playing half life 2 with vorpx in vr I got really sick and since then my stomach started spinning as soon as I managed to hover the Huey in Dcs! But..........now I eat about 3 to 4 grams of ginger before attaching the rift to my head and voila! No more problems. Make sure to chew the ginger so that the juice enters your stomach. Will not work for everyone, as most thing don't but it's worth a try.

Hello, Would like to know how to enable the red control box in vr. Im still practicing hover in the huey and this is awesome with the oculus but would really like to see my control input in the red little box. Any suggestions?? Thanks!!!

Ok thanks! I have the thrustmaster warthog , throttle and 17.5 cm extension and high quality pedals so Im prerty well prepared. I use dcs 1.5 and NevadA. Have read the manual some other guy wrote which is great. Should i read the official manual? So your advice is to wait wirh missions and practice first right? Tnx for the tips!

Hello flight friends, Having an amazing time flying the huey in VR! Im still trying to takeoff properly but would really love to try some simple missions. I see a lot of missions but these are too complex for me at the moment. Does anyone have some simple missions for me to try. For example hovering or takeoff and land? That would be awesome! So fitness88.....are you talking about the tray tool or the debug tool. Im getting a little confused since I used the debug tool and did not see any difference at all in pixel density. Im not running oculys in beta btw. The tray tool works fine though. Does the pixel density do the same thing in both the tray and debug tool? If thats the case I use the tray tool! Oh and, what 1/8 inch adjustment do you mean fitness88? Just curious. Thank you Jozeff

Hi everyone, Would like to try the 3 available freeware scenery caucasux textures for my Rift. I have a gtx970 so I'm looking for something that looks great and performs well. Have tried the different packages but did not see that much of a difference.perhaps the installation went wrong. Anyway, I do not have a lot of time to compare a lot of stuff so any input would be appreciated! That saves me some time to actually learn to fly the Huey in vr!!! Thanks in advance guys

Hello everybody, Recently started using dcs and loving it! Have been flying in fsx and xplane for years but wanted to try something more exciting and new. My question is: how to you guys pick a takeoff airport. Does that mean creating a simple mission or can I choose it another way. Im stuck in free flight and want something else but not jump in some sort of battle. Just practice the Huey! Thanks. Jozeff

Uhhhh, is it necessary to actually wear the Oculus rift to see these options? I dont remember seeing the vr options when I had the rift on. But, I'm not using the rift now!

Hi, I checked the VR enable stuff, it is enabled and pixel density is set to 1.7. I have these things missing in menu in DCS 1.5, 20. and 1.5 open beta! All versions don't have the Toggle VR zoom.

Here is a screenshot showing what I mean....no VR options both in 1.5 and 2.0 nevada. very strange thing thanx for your input though
