To be honest, I always thought the sound in question was supposed to simulate the rapid air movement. These birds were not well insulated for noise. Thoughts?

With their fingers in so many pies, perhaps they just haven't gotten around to it yet. With all the clamoring for "NEW PLANEZ NAO", it may have been placed on the back burner. :chef:
Kind of a shame they converted it into a trainer- really ruins its iconic looks, but I suppose having the extra seat will allow them to charge for joyrides to cover that repair cost.

Just purchased the Spit (and loving it), but I can't seem to get my head around how the airspeed indicator is read. Usually I'm adept at puzzles, but this gauge makes no sense to me. Could someone break it down for me? :huh:
I fail to see why this is such a point of contention- can someone please provide me some insight? why were the wings even clipped? seems like the defacement of a perfectly good aircraft. :huh:
