    F-15E?

There was an external screen shot of the jet that showed the Sniper... I hope we can get JHMCS on the F-15E that would be super cool, even without the -9X, just being able to designate a point on the ground for the Sniper Pod with the JHMCS and then being able to sweeten the picture with the TDC would be very cool.

    F-15E?

I don't think so but there should be quite the slew of 'em!
  3. Yep, its currently being worked on, you can see the ON/OFF/Brightness nob on the upper right hand side of the instrument panel of the F/A-18C in game!

    F-15E?

Hey did you guys see the new Cover Photo on the RAZBAM facebook page?? Looks pretty cool!
  5. Air Combat Maneuvering Training with r/WingmanFinder members Josh, Explodey, Poison Pancakes, and SEDLO... A series of engagements across the NTTR Map. Red Air is based at the Tonopah Test and Training Range, with Blue Air flying out of Nellis AFB. Flights then decide whether to proceed to Waypoint 1 or Waypoint 4, once there they orbit the waypoint until the OPFOR has reached their Waypoint. When the fight is on, RED and BLUE forces converge over waypoint 3, West of Area 51. Pilots do Not Regenerate, and wait until the engagement is over to regenerate back at their respective Air Bases in order to have clean set-ups for subsequent engagements! This is the first time I have ever experienced Hypoxia as a result of taking damage during a mission and really speaks to the detail of Eagle Dynamics' damage model for the F/A-18C Hornet! 6:35 If you want to join the fun, visit the r/WingmanFinder Subreddit! Pilots of all skill levels are welcome!
  6. I know this has probably already been asked but is there provisions for attaching CFT's to the Block 50? Having that capability would add a lot to the simulation of foreign F-16 users ie Greece, Turkey, UAE, etc
  7. A Super Hornet would be very cool, however in this case I wouldn't expect it for awhile, I think think the customer base for the Super Hornet and Legacy Hornet would overlap a little too much and many potential customers would buy one or the other rather than both in the case of say the F/A-18C and the upcoming F-16C. Practical business stuff aside, I would love to see a Super Bug in DCS world! If I'm remembering correctly Wags was asked about Super Hornet AI units in a past interview (I am unsure which one) and he said something to the effect of, yes they would look into it and would want to do the external model very well cause its a module they might look at in the future. Not to get anyones hopes up, just showed that it is on ED's radar.

    F-15E?

There are a ton of photos on the internet of Israeli F-15I's flying without their CFT's but the captions of the photos say they are post depot level maintenance test flights There are quite a few photos and videos of Singaporean F-15SG's flying in airshows without their CFT's prob for the extra wow factor for the performance. I believe that the F-15E and its variants are able to use the cheek sparrow stations without their CFT's attached, however you cannot attach A2G ordinance on them obviously. We will have to see what RAZBAM does with this, being able to Remove them might mean they have to do a lot of extra external modeling work for the jet which they may not appreciate, also a lot of extra flight modeling work, that may be hard to come by seeing as most Mudhens only fly with their CFT's on.

    F-15E?

Oh I know man, I just was talking about the cool skins you could put on it, I know we are getting an E model. Just excited about the possibilities, the Strike Eagle is my favorite aircraft haha

    F-15E?

I would agree, but I am glad we are getting the multi-role F-15E first, I like dropping bombs in DCS just as much as I like mixing it up in a dogfight, its even better when you get to do both in one mission! You could throw an Israeli Albino skin on the jet and pretend its an F-15B/D Baz/Akef since the Israelis love putting CFT's on their Albino Eagles. You'd just have the wrong cockpit haha! I am just pumped for this jet especially with the F-15's newfound importance in the Gulf region with the Saudi, Israeli and now Qatari Air Forces having Strike Eagles. Yes Yes I know its an E model coming from Razbam but that sure won't stop me from dressing her up as an F-15S, I, K, SG, SA or QA!
  11. 2 F/A-18C's vs 2 F-15C's DACT engagement over the Nevada Test and Training Range. Skip to 8:30 for the Engagement F-15C Eagle pilot "Scrodboy" is a retired US Navy F-14 Tomcat Radar Intercept Officer or "RIO" who loves DCS: World and is super excited for the upcoming Heatblur F-14A & B Tomcat for DCS World. Engagement Setup: USAF 65th aggressor Squadron F-15C's took off from Tonopah Test Range while VX-9 Vampires F/A-18C's took off from Nellis AFB. Merge area just west of Groom Lake in "The Box" also known as Area 51!
  12. I cannot wait for the F-15E but when it comes to future aircraft, the IAI Nesher (the Argentines called it the dagger) would fit the Falklands War a lot better. In terms of a new delta wing aircraft, I would love to one day see an Atlas Cheetah, or Late model Kfir like a C10 or 12, that would also be pretty cool for razbam as well seeing as the Ecuadorian Air Force flies both the Kfir C10 and the Atlas Cheetah!

    Mirage F1

I am a huge Mirage F1 fan, I cant wait to throw a South African skin there, and she will be a great adversary on the Persian Gulf map, under both the Iraqi and Iranian Flags! I am excited to see progress, keep up the good work Vibora and team!
  14. Remembering back to chemistry classes, I believe that combustion creates water in two ways, one from the actual consumption of oxygen in a flame and two the intense heat combines hydrogen and water molecules in the atmosphere around the burning substance. Thus if you fire a solid fuel rocket in a vacuum like space no water would be produced and it would be a straight chemical reaction (this is why rocket motors fired in space don't produce visible flame even though extreme heat is present). This would explain the visible contrail from a missile with a solid propellant motor creating a contrail under the correct circumstances. I'm sure i botched that explanation somehow but its the way I at least understand the physical phenomenon.
  15. Atmospherics will definitely have a role in this, all combustion produces water whether its a candle, jet engine or rocket motor, so if you fire the missile under the right conditions it will leave some sort of contrail as that water freezes.
  16. This really needs to be fixed, it is really hampering to mission makers when your wingman can only carry a token load, one maybe two Mk82's with 60% fuel. As a short term fix they could set the harrier to a conventional take off by default, the AI Harriers always want to take off vertically and this is the issue
  17. A South-West Africa/Namiba, Angola map would be very cool! It would offer an interesting variety of terrain types and be perfect for the MiG-21Bis (The Angolans had the BIS variant) the MiG-23 and of course the Mirage F.1 and Mirage III for when they are developed in the future. Could also serve as an interesting what if environment too, what if the US got involved in the border war in the 80's or the Soviet Union directly, it would also be a great Helicopter map as helos were used extensively, Lookin at you Mi-8 and 24!

    F-15E?

The Singaporeans seem to like taking the CFT's off of their F-15SG's for airshows haha! I've also seen photos F-15K's and F-15I's fly without CFTs but that would never be an operational thing... It will be interesting to see if Razbam lets us take the CFT's off or not, my guess would be not because I think it would be a lot of extra work to have the flight model coded for with CFTs fitted and without.
  19. Yep it is a hell of a long flight that is for sure, they dont call it "The largest battleground" for nothing... Thats why I see an Iwo map as kinda boring unfortunately...
  20. I'm curious to see if the Iwo Jima map has parts of Japan in it cause without that I think it will be kinda boring to just have the Volcano Islands and nothing else. If there is parts of Japan it would be really cool to fly P-51D strikes from Iwo against Japan I have the same worry about the Falklands map from Razbam, it would be kinda boring if the Argentine Coast isn't in there to fly from. I was pulling for a Solomon Islands/Rabaul/Port Moresby setting because of the abundance of airfields and islands to fly from and abundance of scenarios to play with there from Marine Corps F4U's to Aussie and Kiwi P-40F's add in a P-38 or a P-39/400 I would be over the moon! For me these early to mid-war air battles are more iconic in my mind, chasing Saburo Sakai and sinking Maru's over beautiful tropical islands sounds more fun than dropping napalm on caves and chasing Kamikazes. On another note another cool idea for a WW2 map could be a Vietnam/Burma/Siam/Kunming map! This could be a great CBI map AND double as a Vietnam War map as well and kill two stones with one bird so to speak haha Something about the CBI has always fascinated me as a historian, probably because other than the AVG its a forgotten front.

    F-15E?

I am sure they will, that would be a travesty to have the F-15E without multicrew, I was more thinking about when we don't have a friend to fly with it would be great to have a Jester AI in the F-15E eventually... We will see though, I do know that work has been ongoing in the background of this module since like 2011 when Razbam posted the first in game renders. It seems that DCS World's devs both third party and ED are developing a good relationship with Boeing with the F/A-18C, AV-8B and now the F-15E I hope they can give Razbam access to sounds and documents to make this jet as awesome as the F/A-18 we have now... I am holding out hope that this seemingly good relationship with Boeing could mean a Block I F/A-18E or F in the future!! (I'd personally prefer the F I think it looks better than the E)

    F-15E?

Huh, that is interesting and it confirms what I thought about the ability of the pilot to control the jet's systems.... I do hope that one day hey do implement some sort of WSO AI, that would be super cool

    F-15E?

I couldn't see any reason why the pilot would be unable to slew the TPOD, especially with a JHMCS , I definitely know he can work the radar unlike the F-14. But in the missions the F-15E was designed for it is a good idea for the pilot to be concentrating fully on flying the aircraft down low, at night, through an IADS, while the Wizzo is running the targeting systems and helping you navigate, which in DCS cause its a game isnt quite as needed but it would be nice to have and far more realistc

    F-15E?

Is there any indication as to what RAZBAM is going to do about a backseater AI for singleplayer and for multiplayer without a friend? I was thinking maybe they could somehow license the use of heatblur's Jester AI for the F-14 and then adapt that AI framework to the F-15E? Heck ED should look into that for the eventual F-4E WSO! I feel like it would be an enormous boon to the 3rd party devs to share resources when it makes sense financially and what not because it makes no sense to me that Razbam would need to spend countless months developing the same type of AI or system that is already built. If they did share it, it would be cool if they could do voice over work again with someone else so that we dont have the same guy in our ear switching between say the F-14, F-15E and F-4E or any other two seat aircraft. While I am rambling it could be really neat and immersive if for the F-4E and F-14A they recorded Jester voice overs with a guy of Persian origin to have the correct accent when flying an Iranian F-4 or 14! Could do that for multiple countries that flew the F-4E.
  25. I would want a South Pacific Map, The Solomon islands, Port Moresby to Rubaul! and a P-38 lightening to go along with my corsair!
