  1. DCS Vietnam would be very cool! I think a Vietnam Map would be gorgeous in the DCS World engine and I know in interviews in the past Wags has said they are interested in the time period. I think a Vietnam scenario in DCS with the assets it would take to flesh out could easily fit into another scenario i have really wanted in DCS, the Arab-Israeli Wars, Six Day War, War of Attrition, Yom Kippur War and to an extent the 1982 Lebanon War. I really hope that one day we do get an F-4 as it will be perfect for the upcoming syria map and the current Persian Gulf map!

    F-15E?

Well given that it was just posted above that the F-15E we are getting will use the sniper pod I would imagine that JHMCS would go along with that as they were implemented around the same time frame (Im pretty sure anyway). I would be very happy with any Strike Eagle we got but it would be really nice if it was on par with the F/A-18C Lot 20 and future F-16C Block 50 we will get. Also earlier I saw some people debating the implemetation of JHMCS on the F-15E, I believe they are all upgraded and magnetically mapped to use the system... A lot of photos and videos of Pilots/WSO's without it is the HMD makes your head pretty heavy so if youre flying cross country why wear the extra weight? You can see this in pics of any aircraft in the US inventory that has JHMCS.

    Thanks ED!

Nice story there! Really gotta pay attention to that fuel gauge and use afterburner SPARINGLY! haha! I wanted to take this chance to really thank ED as well! I am unfortunately away from being able to play DCS for the next month and I am already having withdrawl symptoms! Similar to your story, below is my favorite video I've made for DCS World, 12 Hornet strike in multiplayer deep into Iran to hit a heavily defended Airfield with NO RESPAWNING... You can hear the players (and my) voices getting more strained and tense as we approach and hit the target and then get jumped by F-5's, F-4E's and MiG-21's on the way home when we are all low on gas! That mission for me is a shining example of how awesome DCS World can be!

    F-15E?

I dunno man i had a ton of fun with the Harrier when it first came out and it was pretty unfinished... I think a full fidelity F-15E will be a ton of fun to play with especially with the quality of RAZBAM products!
  5. A quick tutorial on Dropping Cluster Munitions and employing rockets in the most effective way possible (In my opinion). Single Fire-Salvo is in my opinion the best and most effective way to employ rockets in any aircraft as you no longer have to walk a Ripple of rockets over the target and instead get a launch of 2 or more rockets on one point in space and time. The Royal Malaysian Air Force or RMAF or in Malay TUDM is one of the smallest and most obscure operators of the F/A-18 Legacy Hornet anywhere in the world and bought some of the last F/A-18D's to be produced. They are currently in use in the Precision strike as well as the maritime strike and interdiction roles in the RMAF/TUDM. Check out RMAF F/A-18D pilot @Zoohyeree's instagram account here: https://www.instagram.com/zoohyeree/?hl=en Download the RMAF/TUDM Skin here! https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3301167/
  6. Unusual activity has been reported at Lar Airbase in Iran. Intel suggests that IRIAF personnel are loading nuclear weapons on board IRIAF F-4E Phantom II's for a first strike mission against the Arabian Peninsula. A large multinational exercise is occurring in Egypt in the vicinity of the Sinai Peninsula, leaving a small, token force of just twelve Kuwaiti and Marine Corps F/A-18C's, French Mirage 2000C's and RAF and Saudi Tornado GR4's. Hopefully this rag-tag group of pilots and aircraft will be able to punch deep into Iran and stop the impending nuclear strike! If you want to join the fun check out the r/Wingmanfinder Subreddit and the Wingmanfinder Discord Server! Pilots of all skill levels are welcome!
  7. Mission 4 Video! Hey SELDO! Awesome campaign man I really like it! It would be a lot of fun to play this in Co-Op down the road!
  8. A lot of the large public servers are also running on the Caucasus Map, whose large tree count also puts another strain on people's systems besides the large number of objects placed in the mission. This is why I love the Persian Gulf Map the performance on that map is fantastic! And the geographic setup of the map is perfect for multiplayer with the two "sides" separated by a body of water making navigation very simple for most players and giving some recognizable separation in PvP.
  9. We usually have an average Pilot count of between 8 and 16 guys and so far things have been great! (Knock on Wood) I think its the massive object counts on a lot of the big public servers that kills people's performance... This is also paired with the fact that most large public servers are on the Caucasus Map and I have pretty significant dips in performance on that map due to the massive tree count even on free flights in single player where its only me and a wingman and that is with an i7-7700K, GTX 1080 and 32GB of RAM This is why I LOVE the Persian Gulf Map the performance on that map is better than any other map we have at the moment in both single and multiplayer.
  10. Thanks for the support NineLine! My videos of the very causal group of guys having a blast together has definitely brought new people into the multiplayer fray and the way we have set things up people have reported very few issues even with systems that are not tippy-top of the line in terms of hardware. If you ever want to join us for a flight check the Wingmanfinder discord we usually play friday and saturday night!
  11. I wanted to share my experience so far with DCS Multiplayer... I played Single Player for a LONG time before even jumping into multiplayer and I started my youtube channel doing just single player stuff. I will say that trying to get into DCS Multiplayer is rather daunting and I think this could be helped by a more streamlined GUI and integral Voice chat between players as at the moment we have to use separate programs and not all servers use the same programs. As for stability I have had very few issues with that and that has SHOCKED me because for the last few months I have been playing DCS Multiplayer in probably one of the most remote places DCS has been played in... a Tiny island in the Caribbean with less than 200 people on it at any one time called Little Cayman. The internet here is horrendous and yet I can still play DCS multiplayer with no issues or problems over a wifi connection, both as a client and as a host, especially in the small private servers that we put up in the multiplayer group r/WingmanFinder. The fact that I could play and record us flying and having a good time while in this very remote area completely shocked me. This experience has led me to believe that a lot of players are trying to connect to public servers which are way over crowded with clients and objects. As well as players maybe not having machines that are up to spec for the heavy load of DCS multiplayer (of course who can blame them computer components are EXPENSIVE!) We have had our fair share of issues as well such as ice skating on the carrier deck and some lagginess which we believe was due to a large complicated mission on a server without enough RAM. I hope this didn't come off as braggadocios or unhelpful but I think that if I can run DCS World multiplayer with few issues from an extremely remote desert island with shoddy telecom infrastructure it can be run anywhere under the right circumstances. I think my experience really points to over crowded servers with too many objects and aircraft as a main factor for a lot of people's issues. Heres a video proof of a rather large mission flown without issue from a very remote location
  12. Oh man thats kinda a bummer... while I want an F-16 as much as the next guy, I would say the F-4E would be a needed addition to DCS especially for the Red side on the Persian Gulf map!
  13. Hey ED thanks again for such an awesome jet that will only get better! I have been consistently running into a bug where I am unable to select bombs whether Mk80 series or cluster munitions after selecting sparrows with the air to air weapon select switch on HOTAS. Sometimes I can get it to work by recycling the master arm, selecting air to ground gun or simply firing or jettisoning all on board AIM-7 Sparrows. This happens in both single and multiplayer and with numerous other players I fly with in multiplayer. Here is a video of what we are experiencing if you speed up to 17:30 you will see our flight engage in a short dogfight with an IRIAF MiG-29 and after we take care of him I try to select my bombs to hit my target and this is where I run into the bug. You can see me trying multiple things to get it to work and the thing that worked in the end was firing my last AIM-7. You can also hear in the voice chat that other players are having the same issue. Below is the attached video evidence.
  14. Raw gameplay from my POV of a Co-Op mission rendition of the RED FLAG missions from SEDLO, with some cool DCS Players from the r/wingman finder subredit and the r/hoggit reddit! I was the flight lead for the mission since I provided the mission and knew how to fly through it Our flight concisted of 4 USMC F/A-18's two RCAF CF-188's and a lone AV-8B Harrier II. HUGE Thanks to SEDLO for originally creating the Single Player missions.
  15. This is a quick guide to show the basics of the Mission Editor in DCS World. The mission editor is a very complex piece of software and can be used for the most simple of flights to the most complex. This guide will cover the basics of setting up a simple combat mission and can be both scaled up and scaled down for more or less complex scenarios. This mission is a self-escorted strike mission against a communications bunker on Greater Tunb Island and shows step by step how to make a fun and engaging mission! Part 2 will cover flying the mission to test what we have created in the mission editor and then fixing any issues we may find within the mission!
  16. A Red Flag mission Walkthrough in the new F/A-18C Lot 20 Hornet module for DCS World! This is the first true Strike Fighter in DCS World and this is shown off on this mission. I was able to Splash Two Bandits AND put my bombs on target! Thanks SEDLO for this realistic and fun Mission! Flew in Royal Canadian Air Force colors for you. Highlights! Taxi- 3:00 Take Off- 6:50 Mickey Test/Cruising to Tanker Circuit- 11:10 TACAN Input- 15:30 Air to Air Refueling Attempt(s) (LOL)- 23:20 Marshall Point- 31:00 Push to Target Time!- 37:30 First Air to Air Engagement & SPLASH ONE!!- 40:40 Low Level Penetration to Target- 41:50 to 43:40 Initial Point- 43:30 Roll in and Bomb drop- 45:00 2nd Air to Air Engagement and SPLASH TWO!!- 47:25 Low Altitude Exfil- 48:50 Cruising Home- 53:00 Landing at Nellis AFB w/ Left Hand Break 1:00:00 Shut Down- 1:04:50 The mission is available for download here: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.co... Make sure you have Mk83's loaded on your Hornet if you drop her into the mission to replace the AV-8B's or triggers will not work! ***SPOILER*** Not all Aggressors are Vipers and Eagles... Keep your eyes peeled... the guys in Dreamland may have a surprise for you!
  17. +1 on this request! I wish all modules had this!
  18. Glad you were able to reproduce it and hopefully get it fixed! Thanks for looking into it.
  19. It seems as though easy comms are bugged in the F/A-18C at the moment I can contact one entity (my flight, an airbase ATC, or tanker) but I cannot contact any other unit after talking with the first one.
  20. Hey ED and Wags and mods! Super pumped for the release of the Hornet!! I have a question about the profiles you can set for weapon and countermeasures release. Do these programs get stored in the jet so we dont have to always remake our profiles everytime we hop in the jet? I figured the answer to this would be pretty hard to find in the NATOPS manual so I figured I'd ask! Thanks!
  21. A quick tutorial on how to use and employ the new AGM-65E In the DCS World AV-8B Harrier II. *** Note that if you are having trouble with the TPOD/DMT/ARBS/MFD Pages post Persian Gulf Map update, delete the AV-8B in your module manager and reinstall it!*** I have been waiting for this new feature on the AV-8B for a long time now and I am very excited that it is finally here! It is not hard to employ, and I find to be much easier to use than LGB's in the Harrier!
  22. Thanks so much ED for all of the work you are putting into Persian Gulf and the F/A-18C! It is so great to finally have release dates! One thing I wanted to ask about or ask for is can we have an option in the Mission editor to mount or demount the JHMCS visor from the pilot model? Pilots don't wear them 100% of the time and I think they look kinda funny on the Blue Angels skin. Once again thanks a ton ED!
  23. AV-8B Harrier II Operation Eastern Friendship - A Very Serious Game Cinematic I made a fun little cinematic redux of an earlier walkthrough video on my channel while I patiently await the F/A-18C!
  24. I got it the second day of Pre-purchase! I sure hope that ED has a gold mine on their hands cause from the looks of the videos the Hornet and Persian Gulf are both winners!
  25. DCS: World RED FLAG REMIX! Cinematic Music Video The guys at Groom Lake may have a surprise in store for you if you look hard enough, its not all F-15's and 16's on the Aggressor force... A Music Video remix of the RED FLAG mission built by SEDLO for the DCS AV-8B NA Harrier II.
