If we ever get one I hope its of the South-West pacific! Would be super cool to fly the Corsair off Epiritu Santo and pretend Im in the black sheep squadron! haha!

I would really hope we also get an F-14D and if that is not feasible they should at least incorporate post 1992-5 air to ground capabilities for the A and B. Oh how I long to drop LGB's from a Tomcat! After all of that DCS really needs an F-15E

Hey community! I've seen in some trailers and fan videos of internal shots of the pilot from inside the cockpit (For example from the instrument panel looking back at the pilot's face) How does one get those shots in Replay? Is it part of the F11 free camera? Thanks guys!

Hey guys quick question what angle is it that point the nozzles straight down? From my eyeballing it and testing by practicing take offs/hovers/vertical landings it seems to be roughly 80 degrees? I couldnt find an exact number in the pocket guide thanks!

I thought the max weight was 23,000 LBS? I could be wrong... Its funny I suck at helicopters in DCS, I have tried so hard to be good at flying them, still cant land a Hip to save my life but I picked up the VTOL in the Harrier in like 15 min... the way it works makes more sense in my mind than the way a helo does... I guess certain folks take to things quicker

Hey guys! I am trying to fire the AGM-65's and I am having trouble with their weapons management... First issue is I select the IRMV while in the stores menu and I wait the pre-req 3 minutes but they never go into READY mode ie ready to fire is there anything I am doing wrong? Second issue is with either IR or EO Mavs when they are select them and then uncage the seeker the video feed on the left MPCD is just black and the missile is unslewable with the TDC (I have it bound to a mini-stick on a X-56) Why is the video feed only black? Third bonus question... I keep trying to drop Mk-20 Rockeyes but they keep hitting the ground without breaking and scattering bomblets... Am I not meeting the required drop parameters for the weapon? I usually drop at about 1000-500 feet AGL Thanks guys! A mini tutorial in writing for the workflow for firing Mav's would be really appreciated! Loving the Harrier thanks RAZBAM!

Thank you ED for the new communication with the community it is very much appreciated, from the F/A-18 mini-updates and videos to the screens of Hormuz and the new Caucuses! It is a great change and is helping the community build up more realistic expectations of when things will happen

I wonder why they cant just take the tech they use for the A-10C or the coming AV-8B's TGP and copy and paste it for EA even if its just a placeholder to at least allow some sort of precision weapons guidance options for players.

While I think the Yak will be cool I’m still hoping for maybe an F/A-18 or 2.5 for Xmas haha

From what I am gathering from the negative response to the Yak-52 is people say it will delay other modules, however I have a response to that. In any software company from Paypal to AAA videogame dev studios to ED, projects are done in stages. Not all teams can work on the same project at the same time. For example if the art and 3D model teams are done with the F/A-18 and the coders are implementing systems; it doesn't make sense for the art and 3D guys to be twiddling their thumbs doing nothing, they can move on to other projects. That is why we see pics of MiG-19 parts from Razbam because the 3D models are done with the AV-8B while the art team and coders are putting finishing touches on it. As for the Yak I think its awesome that ED is taking those assets and making them available to the wider DCS world player base. You have to keep in mind tho that instances where ED has put out commercial sims ie the one at this museum by my home http://pacificcoastairmuseum.org/discover/flight-simulator has to be oversimplified for the general public that is why there is an F/A-18 in the sim there and is even more simple than even our FC3 jets. Its the same thing they did to show off DCS's beautiful cockpits and terrain graphics at E3 2017. Some bloke who's never been to an airshow wont be able to handle even the simplicity of a FC3 aircraft in these types of commercial sims. Long winded but in Summary thanks ED for making the Yak available to the wider DCS audience and the F/A-18 is usable in these watered down commercial sims for aviation "neophytes" but wouldnt be up to par yet for those who demand full fidelity modules here in DCS World.

Hmmmm I wonder if it is the same sort of build of the F/A-18 that was shown off at E3 2017, Also a P-38 in DCS world at home would be an absolutely awesome treat!

Well with the massive similarities between the two jets I really hope that having a finished F/A-18 in DCS means we will eventually get an F-16!

I know we are getting a KC-130 and a probe/drogue modded KC-135, but it would be really cool especially for the F-14's coming to get a KA-6D Intruder AI Model for refueling for both the F-14 and F/A-18. An updated S-3C would be better for mid 2000's F/A-18 but I think a KA-6D would be super neat to have as an option!

I havent seen anything about this or maybe im blind but will NVG's be a feature of the harrier? Also i have an X56 controller with RGB LED's inlayed in it as well as some RGB leds in my rig, I absolutely love the bluish/green color Cockpit lights in the Harrier, could we get the RGB values so I could sync my rig/X56 to the same color? Kinda a vanity question but I thought it could be cool!
