  1. If you bought the A10C specific issues you can get access here. They are older and it seems some updates for DCS might create some issues with them. http://specials.keypublishing.com/the-magazine/online-content/?IssueID=6060&IssueRef=541317&Email=tomd8@cox.net&formSubmit=yes&localMailList=no&thirdPartyMailList=no
  2. Love the Rift. It breathes life in DCS and a host of other experiences. If you havent tried...you dont know what you are missing . Dont want to try it? Fine...more for me!
  3. Thank you! Nice job on this helpful utility.
  4. Anyone use the NEWEST version (I just updated it) of The DCS Updater GUI Utility to start NTTR? I get an generic error message to repair. I ran the repair and it still wont get started by the DCS Updater GUI Utility , BUT the same utility starts 1.5 just fine. Since its exe resides in the DCS folder (and is not installed into windows) I just removed it. I can start 1.5 and NTTR just fine from their RUN icons e. Anyone else bump into this?
  5. Link fixed. https://pocketmags.com/us/pc-pilot-magazine/dcs-a-10c-warthog
  6. Discovered a great British publication called PC Pilot that has an issue dedicated to the A10C. I bought just this digital mag for $3.99 and with it got to download 12 tutorial files as well.Looked at some other issues of PC Pilot and decided just to get this one issue instead of a years subscription. https://pocketmags.com/us/pc-pilot-magazine/dcs-a-10c-warthog Feels like I found a treasure chest of Hawg info (since thats all I fly). As a noob this is gold.
  7. Fools are in constant denial of the truth....and since I dont suffer fools... buh bye....
  8. Well said! I admire your honest evaluation of the situation.
  9. LOL! Sure you have two. The second one allowed you to fly while you were fixing the design defects with the first. Face it....TM scammed you and thousands of others with an over priced and badly designed and manufactured piece of crap. Your skills of rationalization and denial prevent you from seeing this. BTW, I think you have trolling confused with the right of a forum members to express their opinions on topics even if you disagree with them.
  10. Lets face it, even though the TNWH is a piece of crap, insecure folks need to rationalize the fact that they spent to much money on it AND the fact that they have emotional ties with the crap since it it "theirs". Denial is their way of dealing with making such a bad purchase.
  11. Deleted.
  12. Buyer beware...... https://www.google.com/search?q=thrustmaster+warthog+problems&oq=thrustmaster+warthog&aqs=chrome.0.69i59j69i60l2j69i57j69i60j69i59.6126j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8
  13. Another embarrassing noob solution. After confirming yet again the binding assignment from the CH Toe Brakes to the L/R A10C wheel brakes. Checked cockpit to see if they are moving (like the rudder controls do) but there is no movement for the Toe Brakes. So I taxi the plane and ....what do you know...the wheel brakes work. They just dont animate in the A10C cockpit (like most other stuff does when actuated). Problem solved!
  14. Yes,the reversal made no difference. Since I didnt see the A10C pedals move for the toe brake (as I DID see when testing the rudder which worked great), I didnt bother to see if they would stop the plane from moving. I will confirm that today.
  15. The irony is that the Pedals / Rudder in the A10C respond when I SLIDE the CH pedals forward and backward. So some info is getting thru to the software....but for some reason, some is not getting thru to activate the brakes.
  16. Yes, Ive done extensive troubleshooting of both software and hardware. X is assigned to the CHs left toe brake and Y is assigned to the right toe break. Their respective Axis menus show a graph that animates as I activate each toe brake. So its being seen by the software but its not triggering the desire motion. Viewing in the A10c cockpit shows NO toe brake movement in the A10C when I apply the CH toe brakes. But when I slide the CH pedals forward and backward (for the rudder) the A10C pedals move as well.
  17. Any A10C pilots out there that use the CH Pedals? Ive successfully bound them to the rudder function and they work great. But even after going into the Axis Menu and binding each toe brake to the appropriately (left / right) wheel brake, the toe brakes dont work. I tried invert and slide options but they dont seem to have an effect. The CH Calibration software sees their movement just fine. Any one with a tried and true solution?
  18. TM stuff is crap. Badly designed and constructed. Save your money for the CH stuff. They build joysticks for business and industry. Well designed and built to last.
  19. Actually CH products are a class above the TM crap. They are more reliable, have no stiction problems, are better constructed and have way better customer service.
  20. I run my CH Fighter stick / Pro Throttle/Pedals thru a powered USB port. Works great!
  21. Quite simply......VR breathes life into DCS. Instead of playing a game....Im really flying a complex aircraft.
  22. The CH Fighter stick and Pro Throttle have more than enough buttons for use with DCS in VR. I have the CH Throttle Quadrant, but would only use it for GA flying like in Aerofly FS 2. For the jets I fly it just isnt appropriate.
  23. I also had this problem. The solution I found is simple and quick. Believe it or not, I found that after I boot up my new powerful computer to play DCS, if I REBOOT it immediately, I never get the USB related audio issues at all. The Rift / computer seem to "really like" this solution ;)
  24. You'll be sorry......The Warthog is crap. http://www.overclock.net/t/1468856/h...ing-experience https://www.reddit.com/r/EliteDanger...hotas_warthog/ https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=60291 I was going to get it, but after extensive research I saw the nightmare I was walking into. I got smart and bought the CH Fighterstick, Pro Throttle and Pedals. A year later I havent had any issues and have experienced their great customer service as well.
