If ED is already willing to develop an F-35 then we absolutely must get a proper variant with a fully fleshed out loadout of SDBs, JSOW, 120D, etc. as well as a 9G capable A variant. The 2B F-35 that's being thrown around as the target is the first F-35 with ANY combat capability and is extremely limited. A 2B F-35A would be limited to 7g only and doesnt even come close to representing a proper F-35 with its limited loadout options and lack of sensor fusion. There's absolutely no reason to not make a more modern variant considering they're already going to be guesstimating quite a bit about even the earlier variants. Might as well go all in and give the customers the most possible value for money. We should voice our desires early before F-35 really gets underway so ED knows what we want. The F-35 is all about its sensors and advanced weapons.

What an absolute joke. I play DCS because I can cope that things are simulated to at least a bare minimum of """"realism"""" but there's just no way to get even close to that with an F-35. If you want to guesstimate something how about you guesstimate a MiG-31 to get some semblance of parity for red vs blue?

The fact is that "boring Jester" was a promised option we still haven't gotten years later. I certainly hope we get it with Jester 2.0. And no muting jester entirely is not a good option when he gives you critical information constantly.

I have been waiting for boring jester for YEARS and instead of adding the no nonsense mode that was advertised HB just keeps adding in more awful jokes that ruin my immersion in the middle of a dogfight. I really hope boring jester can be implemented before the F-4 release because while jester is an awesome tool for flying a 2 person jet solo his attitude is really off putting. For me petro is the perfect ai companion, he only talks when he needs to but his voice lines still express some emotion while giving key info.

I could be mistaken, but on page 68 the manual says that the F1 can carry the 530 D, which I believe is supposed to say 530 F, afaik the Mirage F1 didn't carry the 530 D(that's what the mirage 2000 has). I know for a fact the F1 can and did carry the 530F but haven't heard anything about the D. I'd be happy if it can carry both but might want to check that as well. I would love if George would prioritize trucks over infantry or to provide us with an option oh what he lists first. I don't really want to scroll through 20+ infantry to find the one truck I want him to hit unless there's someway for him to separate out manpads. Also wondering what the ETA is on removing the extra fuel tank to give us 1200 rounds of ammo.

He literally makes 420 blazin jokes during combat lmao I find it very immersion breaking. I'm glad some people can ignore him or like it but there really needs to be an option for those of us that want a more realistic RIO/WSO in the back.

I dont enjoy jester making jokes in the middle of combat and was promised a way to turn that off over two and a half years ago. I want that option for the F-4 at least.

It would be pretty annoying to have to deal with Jester's terrible jokes in two aircraft. A new more era appropriate voiceover for the WSO would be greatly appreciated. Or at the very least please add the promised "boring jester" option that is listed in the F-14 manual I've been waiting for for two years, having Jester crack stupid jokes literally in the middle of combat is pretty immersion breaking on what is otherwise an extremely immersive jet.

Probably the best mp PVP server DCS has had since 1.5 open conflict.

Oh and how about two separate keybinds for the pilot to dispense flares and chaff while we're at it. Pretty sure this can already be done via some lua edits.

Why on earth aren't every single specific option inside the jester menus bindable? Just off the top of my head a list of commands that would be REALLY useful to be able to bind to a specific keybind: Jettison drop tanks Setting scan elevation ECM on/off Toggle Chaff/Flare control for pilot TCS FOV toggle Scan azimuth Bindings for increase and decrease TID range instead of just set distances Can we get more keybinds added please? It would make flying the F-14 solo a much more enjoyable experience.

Will this option allow us to instantly add or remove the refueling probe as well? It can be pretty annoying in MP to swap to the configuration I want since it takes several minutes. Minor point but it would be nice. I'd also like to say thanks for having literally the BEST special options menu in the game for any module.

If you are playing DCS multiplayer on servers where people can and are taking unrealistic loadouts you aren't playing DCS realistically anyways.

Good idea, a special menu option like with Razbam's Mirage and Harrier for pre-aligned INS would be great.

Pretty sure Kate confirmed that our AH-64D should be circa 2002 or so, so pretty much spot on for DCS. Personally I get the appeal of a 64A from an aesthetic standpoint but quite frankly even with the AH-64D I am concerned about how difficult it is gonna be to fly solo. I don't particularly trust ED to give us a capable AI gunner or pilot considering they haven't shown us anything like that before and our only other example in DCS is Jester(who is really pretty awful imo). Even if we don't get the Longbow Radar, which I'm pretty sure we will, it'd be dumb to tease it otherwise, I still think the 64D is a better choice from a solo pilot standpoint.

Hey currently in game the way the Exterior Light Master Switch - Normal/Off works is that if I have it bound on my keyboard and it is in the Normal position it will switch to off. However if it is OFF and I hit the keybind it just momentarily switches to on and then immediately snaps off. Would it be possible for us to get a TOGGLE keybind so that if the switch is off it switches to on and stays there? Thanks

I'm wondering what the current performance of the SD-10 is like in terms of range compared to the 120C and if there are any plans to upgrade it? Seems like ED came in and nerfed it into the ground and then updated the AMRAAM and left the SD-10 alone.

Are there any plans to add more weapons to the JF-17 like the CM-400AKG, CM-102, or Matra Durandals?

Ah that would explain it, is that intended or a glitch? I thought it should be possible to use them as basically a huge maverick with an SPI?

Pretty sure the C-802AKGs are bugged right now when fired in DIR mode. Despite designating a SPI using the TPOD after launch they begin to do loops until they despawn. Hilarious but pretty broken.

I'm happy to see that TERs are being added for mavericks on the F-16 but am wondering if they will be able to hold only 4 mavericks or a full 6 mav loadout for those of us looking to simulate cold war gone hot scenarios? Edit: Wags confirmed on Youtube that the Viper will be able to carry 6 AGM-65s with two TERs!
