  1. High angle dive are for Low Drag bomb like MK-82. Not for MK-82SE where you should use a Level Delivery or a Low Angle delivery (up to 15°) at high speed. Low Angle delivery allows for better bomb penetration and make target identification easier but makes you more vulnerable to SAM or AAA. Just try to fly toward your target at 500 KCAS and 300Ft with SnakeEyes in a level flight, and you will see how the reticle reacts in a level delivery profile at very low altitude :smilewink:
  2. Just tried on latest Beta version, it works fine. So you must be doing something really stupid :D Set your waypoint (Bullseye, or any waypoint) as PREP, Select BAD rho/theta on PCN Parameter Selector Knob, enter distance (< to 54 NM) on the left and bearing on the right in the top windows of the offset point Select BAD Delta Alt and set elevation difference of offset point (in feet or meters) if needed. Select your waypoint as DEST, it will show you distance and bearing to your waypoint on HUD and IDN Click on BAD button, it will illuminate and HUD and IDN will show distance and bearing to the offset point. ENC will blink, and * will appear on the right of the HUD close to Waypoint/distance display. The issues i can think of, is that you are not selecting the correct waypoint in PREP before setting offset data, you might have set it as DEST instead of PREP. Or you are not setting the correct waypoint as DEST when you activate BAD button. Or you are entering wrong value for Rho, as maximum value is 53,99 Nm. My bet is on this one, as bullseye call can be done with Hostile at very long range from BE :smilewink:
  3. In Quiet mode, only CARA (Radar Altimeter) should transmits if i'm correct
  4. Dashed Line was showing you direction of a jamming source. Contacts shown were false contact due to jamming. False contacts don't have closing speed displayed below contact.
  5. Yes sure, M2K FM that got good feedback by the French Air Force and being compared to the one from real M2000C simulators is wrong. Can't be the FM of the F16 which is in Early Access.... Just take a ticket for the 'M2K is OP' bandwagon, there are already all Hornet (in Early Access also) owners in front of you :music_whistling: And by the way, chart is comparing a M2K-5 with a F16 Block 52, none being available in DCS currently
  6. IIRC it's button 2 ALOW on ICP, and it's implemented Button 4 is STPT IIRC
  7. They will only extend below 400 knots for alternate flap switch EXTEND and air refuel switch OPEN
  8. I've doubled check tonight, and indeed it just disappears automatically quite quickly. I thought it was linked to battery switch as i toggle it right after being in the cockpit, but it's not linked after all :(
  9. Also remember: If you move out of position in only one direction, lights on both columns may change. For example, if you move down, you increase the boom angle and will get a GO UP indication. In addition, you may get a GO FORWARD indication because the pure downward movement has extended the boom. Understand this relationship when making corrections, e.g., if you have both the GO UP and GO FORWARD lights, you may only have to move up a little to extinguish both of them.
  10. AG Canon (CAS) still need to be selected from PCA. Only AA Canon has a HOTAS master mode
  11. Are you on Open Beta or Stable ? 1/ You need to press VAL to validate the update. Will update position to the correct Waypoint position, not designated position though -> known bug, already reported 2/ Known and already reported in Bug section 3/ Not a bug, double tap on Paddle switch (FBW reset) 4/ Radar Issues were solved on latest Open Beta version. If you're on Beta, a lot can explain drop contacts without being bugs 5/ I personally don't have this issue 6/ Known bug, already reported Bugs should be reported in the Bug Reports section, add tracks to help Razbam work on it. Elwood will 'soon' review all reported bugs
  12. It appears by default at cold start. It's removed automatically when battery switch is toggled to on
  13. A part is taken from the book L'ARMEE DE L'AIR EN ACTION from Henri-Pierre Grolleau Another part is from having done a Stage Patrouille Serrée here: https://www.air-combat-experience.fr/ I was flying with a former Jaguar pilot (+4000h, and 4 years in the Patrouille de France) and he teached me how to handle rejoin, hold formation, crossing under and even fly some FMO during simulated Pop Up attacks. A former 2000N pilot was in the lead plane and was giving us hand signals and wing check signals We have done also some BFM :pilotfly: A lot of fun i can assure you :D
  14. Equivalent of Fingertip/Parade is called PS for Patrouille Serrée Tac formations are - FMO (Formation de Manoeuvre Offensive) which is the equivalent of Tac Wing i would say, with a 0.2/0.3 Nm range between lead/wingman. Mostly used by M2000D for low altitude, not that much in Air-Air combat - FMD (Formation de Manoeuvre Defensive) is the equivalent of Line Abreast mainly used for Air-Air Combat Rendez vous are always done in the following sequence: Etagement - Retrait -Ecartement Etagement is done by putting lead slighty above horizon, then you close in on 45° angle on lead to reduce Retrait and finally you settle for Ecartement I don't know the reference points. Jojo might come around and give you a more detail answer :smartass: I would love to have more details also
  15. Ok thanks, i was doing my approach more around 250-270 knots and 30° AOB, will try to lower the speed then to see if it's easier to catch the 2nd turn command Thanks for the feedback anyway
  16. Seems you are mixing things up :) On PPA,MIS will illuminate when Super 530D are ready, not Magic II (MAG illuminates when Magics are ready on the button further to the right). Also maybe worth mentioning, missile pylon selector (G= Left, AUTO, R = Right) is for Super 530D only Unless you're cancelling preparation of 530D/Magic during start up, MIL and MAG will illuminate automatically as missile preparation is automatic at start up.
  17. It's life changing, you can't go back once you've used it. Then you can switch to VR if you want to increase immersion even more, but it has some drawbacks.
  18. Tried again yesterday entering the course in T-ILS page, and indeed Comand Steering Symbol directed me on 45° intercept heading. But then, it should again command a 2nd 30° bank turn to intercept localiser course when within 2 dot deviation. This didn't happened until i crossed the localizer course (so way too late for a 30° bank turn). Anyone had 2 commanded turn from the CMD STRG symbol ? One toward intercept course and a 2nd one toward localizer course ?
  19. Ok thx, when i tried i had entered the course on the ehsi.... Will try with t-ils ded page.
  20. Is it implemented yet ? Have done some quick testing but steering cue didn't direct me to perform lateral intercept with 30° bank turn despite being within 45° deviation of localizer course. I thought it was not implemented yet, but i might have done something wrong.
  21. From manual (not dcs one): The tic mark appears on the flight director circle when glide slope deviation nears center, indicating that pitch steering data is valid ILS probably WIP as i haven't seen command steering circle ordering turns to intercept localiser course for example whereas i was within 45 degrees deviation
  22. You have a lot of scenario in Instant Action you can use
