Depends if you're in NAV/ILS or TCN/ILS mode on EHSI It's either the range to INS destination waypoint (NAV/ILS mode en EHSI) or the range to the TACAN Station/DME Nav Aid (TCN/ILS mode on EHSI).

I guess you are wondering how to do it in current build, so most of the above won't help as not implemented yet if i'm correct Delayed CCIP is implemented and works fine, you can use it without having to dive like for direct CCIP.

Available G will be reduced in function of your AOA. As AOA increases, the maximum allowable positive g decreases. But the store config switch itself is not a G Limiter. It just changes value of AOA/G, Roll Rate, Yaw Rate, Rudder Authority limiters of FLCS.

I've worded it wrongly, it's maximum commanded AOA (post edited). Not the maximum AOA you can get in the plane.

Funny cause it works also with DMS Up long

In cruise gains, CAT III selection doesn't limit Max G, it limits Max commanded AOA to 16-18° (25° in CAT I) and Max Roll Rate to ~40% less than in CAT I 9G are allowed under 15° AOA in CAT I and CAT III. Above 15° AOA allowed G decreases. So not like in the Mirage 2000 :)

Landing Gear and Air Refueling would be great also

Probably from another manual we can't talk about where it's clearly mentioned :thumbup: When AR switch is set to Open it reduces internal tank pressurization, depressurizes external tanks (external fuel transfer is then stopped), and allows the refuel valve in each reservoir to open when a centerline tank is installed and refuel pressure is applied. This takes a couple of minutes

ENG CONT switch can be set to SEC through guard cover.

Same here with the warthog and no curvature or deadzone set Maybe they have modeled the real behavior of the force feedback stick of the Viper and that when moving our stick, it takes a low force value by default even for full left/right move of the stick. I doubt so, but that would explain the behaviour

Master Arm On/Off toggle is already in IIRC (not with simulate though), i can use it on my Warthog with 2 way switch Landing Gear Up/Dn toggle will be great too please in Special Joystick button.

We already had that behaviour in the last Open Beta version (still have it on the current Stable branch) From what i understood, in this last Open Beta they have just resized the Triangle to match the size of the square. Indeed Triangle Symbol was way bigger than the Square Symbol in the last update Haven't checked yet though. We just miss the Radar slave on Magic feature now

Hi, anyone know what you be the foldername to add custom kneeboard for the Viper ? I've tried naming it F-16C or F-16C_viper (based on the foldername for the hornet being FA-18C_hornet), but i can't see my custom kneeboard while in game like for other modules. Not implemented yet maybe ?

Works fine But by defaut it's in Transmit mode only, you have to change it to T/R on the DED T-ILS page

Is it planned to have a Autopilot PITCH ALT/OFF and Autopilot PITCH ATT/OFF as special joystick button like for the Autopilot Roll ? That will allow us to map a 3 position switch on it

I guess the mounted plate on the left of the HUD is for storing NVG when not used. Eclair Box is gone ? Not mounted in the real M2000C ?

I'm not a Viper specialist, but i remember reading F-16A was build for dogfight, but F-16C was modified to be more suited for multirole tasks hence loosing Air to Air performance in the process compared to the F-16A. So i'm not sure it's such a beast compared to the F-18C in BFM. Might be wrong though...

The localizer line gives you a course deviation input. The farther it drifts to a side, the bigger is your course deviation. Currently marker on the horizon doesn't match beacon position. Not sure it will be ever corrected The box give course deviation and glideslope deviation. They basically are hints to help you correct your flight path towards the correct course/glide. You have to fly keeping in mind your final heading and glide angle, and use course deviation indicator to increase/decrease your offset toward final heading course and glide deviation to increase/decrease your descent rate. Don't chase indicators. Make small corrections and watch effects on deviation indicators then keep correcting by small touch until you're on correct course and glide You have the equivalent indicators bars on the "Boule" (attitude indicator), you might find it easier to use at the beginning.

I don't think so, if a public release is done (which is what AdA strives for) it will be similar to what was done for the M2000C IMO in term of systems accuracy. Also DCS don't simulate real behaviour of several systems (IFF, RWR, Jamming...). Remember that M2000-5F is not a newly built M2000-5 like the M2000-5 Mk2 for example. They took M2000C RDI and they have upgraded them with some M2000-5 systems (like RDY radar, new displays in the cockpit, new SNA...), but it still have a lot of the M2000C systems, like same engine/Hydraulics/FBW/Engine/Fuel...and even the same Counter Measure system (Serval/Sabre/Spirale/Eclair), and not the new ICMS Mk2 or Mk3 systems. Sure we won't have a true to life RDY radar, but we don't have a RDI true to life radar neither. Regarding the MICA, it's the only Fox3 missile carried by the -5, so....If AdA want to simulate tactics, they need a Fox 3 missile included for the -5 Like every missile in DCS, it won't simulated true to life, but with similar overall performance.
