Hi@all, If I activate 'Historical list of unity' in the mission editor and set the year to 1991, I can still select JDAMS (see screenshot). Weren't the JDAMS introduced a few years later? And doesn't the same apply to the PaveWay III? Didn't that also come later?

The creator has really put a lot of brainpower into all of this. But unfortunately he writes "I got tired of working on it, so it is provided here as is and NO FURTHER UPDATES will be provided." It would be great if someone could be found with the skills and time to take on the maintenance of these tutorials. We also need such good tutorials for the F-4, Mi-24, F-16,... but yes, it does involve a lot of work. And many modules are also in Early Access, where things change frequently...not easy, I know.

Hi, ich hatte das Modul ab dem Zeitpunkt als sie erschienen ist. Zu dem jetzigen Stand (was das FM entspricht) sind das Welten! Die letzten Updates für dieses Modul sind meiner Meinung nach ein Meilenstein. Vor allem die L-Variante macht immer wieder sehr viel Spaß. Gut, das Cockpit könnte auch mal ein grafisches Update gebrauchen. Es gibt auch keinen George, Jester,...Aber wird auch nicht wirklich benötigt, meiner Ansicht nach. Meiner Meinung nach führt die GAzelle ein NIschendasein, was ungerechtfertigt ist. Und für 25 Euro ist das Module auf jeden Fall ein Schnäppchen!

Hi, Today, after a long absence, I entered the virtual Mi-24 cockpit again. I performed a cold start (with ground power). And then, on page 181 of Chuck's guide, I had an aha moment...this also applies when you want to disconnect ground power. So, Raffi75's statement isn't entirely correct.

Hello, I'm not entirely sure (we don't have a comprehensive manual yet), but it's possible that the vibration test button function isn't implemented in DCS. Regarding disconnecting ground power: I don't know whether there's currently a bug or not. Or is the error possibly related to your handling? Unfortunately, I can't do much with the video since there's no English translation.

@Meerschweinmannist ein 60 cm Problem -> ist ein anderer Ausdruck für das Problem sitz vor dem PC, der User macht etwas falsch. Bin jetzt seit ca. 26 Jahre in der IT tätig und kenne diesen Satz seit damals. Wo ist das herablassend? Hatte auch einen Smily in meinem ersten Post gesetzt um das nochmals zu verdeutlichen das es nicht so gemeint ist. Wer lesen kann ist klar im Vorteil -> Zuerst großspurig schreiben dass man nach Chuck's Guide und OpenFlightSchool sich ne Startliste erstellt hat & es sich danach eben doch herausstellt das man ein wichtiges Detail überlesen hat. Ich hatte ihm auch noch den Link zur begnadeten Kneeboard Suit Seite gepostet wo alles wichtige enthalten ist. Hier hätte auch erstmal ein Blick genügt. Damit ist die Thematik für mich erledigt. Gibt wesentlich wichtigeres.

Aber gut, manche hier sind eben dünnheutig...Ich hatte doch geschrieben dass das Alignment durchgelaufen sein muss (siehe Seite 119 in Chuck's Guide). Eugel hat es bestätigt. Auf Seite 121 in Chuck's Guide steht dass dann EAC aktiviert werden kann. "Echte Hilfe sieht anders aus"... Wer lesen kann ist klar im Vorteil!

Würde behaupten ist ein 60 cm Problem...

Hi, You have identified the problem. You have to maintain a constant radar lock for your missile. The AIM-120 uses its own radar to track the enemy aircraft - I don't know exactly after how many seconds. But you MUST outmaneuver the missile to avoid being shot down. You are CLEARLY at a disadvantage here with the Su-27. You should perhaps change your tactics. Use the terrain and 'sneak up' on the enemy. For example: Also: You are playing against a computer-generated opponent. Depending on how their skill is set, they behave too well. Please keep that in mind! And yet, when you start the mission, you can click the Mission Planner button. Hi, I am currently reading "The Russian Philosophy of Beyond Visual Range Air Combat" with great interest. The following paragraph caught my attention: "By the 1970s the standard Soviettechnique in a BVR missile launch was to salvo two rounds, a semi-active radar homing weapon and a heatseeking weapon. To this effect some Soviet fighters even included a weapons select modewhich automatically sequenced the launch of two rounds for optimal separation." I wonder if this mode will be available in the upcoming FF Mig-29A? Did the Mig-29s even have this mode? Or was it more common in the Sukhois?
