Don't loose hope mate It is important to report bugs, (even though sometimes it feels like writing a note to santa and throwing it up the chimney) Reporting bugs it is all we can do to help get stuff fixed But, ED could do a lot more as regards feedback and what is being bug tracked BIS have a very good community feedback bug tracker so you can see whats already been raised/report and being worked on Sadly with ED they do not even have a webpage that lists open/reported issues ? This would be a good start so that the same thing does not get reported several times

+ 1 1.5.6 version of DCS is still the high water mark, its been getting worse and worse with each new patch

I have vsync on in my nvidia control panel for my screen

I have a 3440 x 1440 screen with a 1080TI It was a massive step up from 1920 x 1200 ...... but it has GSYNC which makes a big difference if the frame rate takes a dump

How much RAM you thinking of getting 16G or 32G ?

I dont hold out much in the way of hope of this getting fixed ED seem to be unable to replicate it, it was reported nearly 3 weeks ago

Iam actually amazed it even cycled to the next mission at all any time I try changing to another mission the server crashed on me

program files is protected under windows Find your shortcut to windows Explorer, right click on it and run as admin Try changing stuff now Oh and Avast will damn sure not let you mess with it, for it knows you are a virus

If you disabled CTLD and CSAR, and you still get it then its not them causing it Would it be happening because there are now less people playing on your server? I use a couple of MOOSE functions basically spawning some AI planes and ground target units, nothing too complex My solution was to revert the server to the previous release 1.5.7.9459.362

Any update on this issue? I cannot use this latest build for hosting due to it crashing pretty much all the time

I gave OVGME a go, but it stores settings , but not in the OVGME folder Gone back to using JSGME

Some stuttering has been fixed (still get stutters in mi-8 every 3 seconds) oh, and MP servers now crash a lot with the latest 1.5.7.10175 patch (unplayable)

+1 good idea, though with a complex sim like this it might be inconsistant There used to be a benchmark mission for Arma 2, but it gave varying results on different runs (you had to average results of 3 runs to get anything meaningfull)

Flew the MIG-15 for the first time in ages and dog fighting was near to impossible The glare / reflections on the cockpit glass was blinding Does anyone skillfull know how to remove or tone this down a bit ?
