  1. Long story short...this is the intended behavior and standard DCS NVG. I'm not pilot but I had the opportunity to fly in the back of helicopter with NVG. You have to focus it, and you do focus it to infinity because you want it to look at the outside. To look inside you just lower you eyes to look below it. Yet there is a problem in VR because it's full screen, so you can't look below it. VR headsets have FoV > 100° and real NVG are around 40° (excepted quad tubes NVG but that's another story).
  2. Sorry, but I don’t understand what are doubting about ? Do you think it isn’t bleeding enough speed or too much ?
  3. It's difficult to know what you are doing without more details. What is the range ? Is it jamming ? Overall, I'm not happy with the current radar either. I'll post some bug reports soon.

    INS UPDATE

The INS drift is already optional, the INS alignment too.
  5. What is natural with fly by wire on all 3 axis. This is a different general of flight control compared to F-15C, MiG-29 and Su-27 from FC3. Add turbulence and wind in ME and it will be less on rails. :smilewink:
  6. A flight model is complex to develop. Ground behavior is also another subject by itself. When you change one parameter, you can impact a lot of different areas. So there is a point of diminishing return.
  7. Then you aren't using the proper technique. It very easy using the HUD. Just align the symbols on runway threshold around -3° glide path at 14° AoA. >] -O- [<
  8. The landing deceleration isn't a good way to test aerodynamics. Aerodynamics isn't the only force, there is also ground friction. So find a way to compare at 13° in flight and then it will be interesting... And I wasn't talking about any chart.

    ILS problem ?

I did post METAR and TAF for UUEE on previous page. The arrow for the wind is ok. But I’m pretty most broad public weather TV report are saying where the wind comes from (from the North, from the east). And this is more interesting écluse it will tell you what you can expect. In France warm air from the south, rain from the west (Atlantic Ocean), cold from the North or from the East in winter. In the quick mission brief before mission start, you only have wind direction in numbers, no fancy arrow. (Unless you have a cool script to write TAF style weather report). So this is misleading and a constant pain in the a... for anyone use the aviation weather report. Also it’s more natural to guess the QFU when you get the wind “from”. Sorry, we went a little off road here, but this is really a nuisance in DCS as far as I’m concerned... And there is no paradox in what you wrote. This is natural to me...

    ILS problem ?

    Then learn to read METAR & TAF and tells me about wind 303° :music_whistling: METAR: UUEE 041500Z 24009MPS 2100 R24L/P2000N R24C/P2000N -SN OVC008 M02/M03 Q1005 R24L/590230 R24C/590225 R24R/590225 NOSIG TAF: UUEE 041359Z 0415/0515 23007MPS 3000 -SN OVC007 TX03/0512Z TNM02/0415Z TEMPO 0415/0419 26008G14MPS 1000 SHSN OVC004 BKN011CB PROB40 TEMPO 0415/0421 -FZRA SCT003 BECMG 0501/0503 6000 NSW

    ILS problem ?

The wind direction in DCS mission editor is wrong, it's indicating wind direction to instead of from. So it's reversed 180°. Just in case :smilewink:
  12. Sorry, it's a mistype
  13. Yes, tired to take R-60 head on with engine idle :D

    ILS problem ?

No, that is true only for synthetic runway. Without landing point you get everything else and you can still use ILS. This is is why I tried with and without landing point. :smilewink:
  15. F-16A Block 15 "ADF" :smilewink: http://www.f-16.net/f-16_versions_article14.html That would be fun ! This one even carry both AIM-7 and AIM-120 !
  16. Amen :worthy:

    ILS problem ?

I just tried on Open Beta 2.5.5.40269. It does work as expected, both with and without landing waypoint. Did you select APP mode on PCA ?
  18. Yes, but if you limit your Hornet to AIM-9M & AIM-7M, turn off L16 and JHMCS you pretty much have a Desert Storm Hornet from 1991. :smilewink:
  19. Stick to AIM-9M and AIM-7M for Hornet and Eagle (1990’s) and the Mirage 2000C will match :smilewink: It’s like everyone forgot what it was like before Fox 3 era :D This is up to mission designer to choose for a time era and adequate opposition.
  20. No, at least in Belgium they still use jamming pod. Internal jamming was planned but scrapped. I doubt that others MLU F-16 got internal jammer... Dutch F-16AM, AIM-120, JHMCS but ALQ-131 I think Polish F-16 Block 52+ have internal jammer
  21. Because they are focused on finishing current modules (M-2000C, AV-8B, MiG-19), and there are already some others in the pipeline (F-15E or MiG-23 with 3 models). So further prospects can wait. At least this is my understanding...
  22. No, no more automatic waypoint switching.
  23. It was the “ENC” button on PCN. But this button is gone since it doesn’t belong to Mirage 2000C. Instead you get DEST +/- button on the left, next to the clock. It’s clickable and you can map to HOTAS too. It allows you to cycle DEST waypoints without having to type the number on PCN. This is correct and true to life modelling of the navigation system.:smilewink:
  24. That's it but actually carried by 18. So the BAP-100 would be used to damage the runway, and the BLG-66 IZ on top of it to delay repair. BLG-66 EC to damage anything else on an airfield. :smilewink:
  25. Yes it is, tried yesterday.
