  1. No
  2. It did work for me...azimuth is more accurate. And GBU-12 isn't the best bomb to test, it glides too much IMHO.
  3. I'm more worried by the (lack of) AG weapons blast radius. In most case you need direct hit. :music_whistling:
  4. Guys, if you want to test CCPL + PI (in French), I can’t recommend you enough to run your test on Caucasus map and to use this little piece of software. You input IP and target coordinates and it will give you the necessary offset accurate data. https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3481511&postcount=2

  6. Frankly I need to re-test, a long time I didn't try the Harrier. A few month ago we were complaining that the ARBS wasn't accurate enough, now it's too accurate
  7. Weapon SystemCMD Depress. Is your radar screen in PPI ? Switch to "B" mode to lock target, there is a bug in PPI mode.
  8. Maybe they added artificial dispersion which would be the reverse way to do it. :smilewink:
  9. :megalol:
  10. If enemy has good enough intel (not simulated in DCS), he would probably get missile launch warning on top of STT warning, like any Fox 1.
  11. The very purpose of MAV is to use it as IRST without selecting it, on top of other weapons/ modes. :smilewink: But you shouldn't be able to shoot Magic after CNM Neutral command...
  12. Try free fall bomb with FC3 modules like MiG-29 or Su-27 and it will be laser accurate too. So this is DCS IMHO...
  13. This point is false for me and my Rift S. I can do with Harrier, the Tomcat was such a pain I had to install a cockpit mod to be able to use it in VR (bigger and "brand new" fonts).

    PCA/HUD updates

Yes, you need to use "CNM Neutral/ PCA Select" command to exit from AA gun or Magic.
  15. You rock man
  16. Yep, there is a little bit of misunderstanding here. Square inside the circle is for optimal kinematic, you doesn’t need that for seeker head to synchronise with STT target. And yes, the radar will automatically switch from TWS to STT if you shoot from TWS. Be careful for high performance long range shot (plus/ minus 20Nm), the target may engage ECM when the radar perform STT and may break the lock just after Super 530D firing :joystick:
  17. Are you talking about the AoA value (DanielNL answered, it's now optional), or the AoA bracket visible in landing mode ? For the later you need to select APP (APProach) mode on PCA top row. It isn't automatic with gear down.
  18. CNM stands for: Canon = AA gun Neutral = PCA selection Magic = self explanatory Canon and Magic are override selection. After selecting one these weapon you need to unselect it with command “CNM Neutral PCA Select”. IRL this is a 3 position paddle on the front of the throttle: - inward = canon - middle = select on PCA - outboard = select Magic So if you have Magic or AA gun selected, it’s normal you can select fuel tank on PCA. You need to “reset” your weapon selection with CNM Neutral :smilewink:
  19. AA Gun and Magic are only selected through HOTAS, this normal. You return to previous weapon with CNM Neutral wich should also be mapped to your HOTAS. You exit radar close combat mode with Weapon SystemCMD depress, same button as to unlock radar target. The bug is to be able to select radar range in radar close combat mode, it should be 10Nm only.
  20. You're not alone :D Screen_180630_042827 by redskin83, sur Flickr Screen_180630_042845 by redskin83, sur Flickr
  21. With a 50% discount, there is no reason to hold off. Grab it while you can
  22. Too easy with a Harrier :megalol: PS: not my video, just sharing :smilewink:
  23. I guess it’s safe to assume we get the tone of the selected weapon :smilewink:
  24. The AoA isn't indicated in HUD on Mirage 2000C (it is on Mirage 2000-5). If you have Track IR or VR, it's easy to read AoA. If you are on screen with only PoV command...you won't be able to read AoA indictor on screen because it's masked by HUD control panel.
  25. Magic unlock button :smilewink:
