  1. Enjoy
  2. Yes, the requirement came first from European navies (Italian and Spanish). USMC did not jump on it immediately...
  3. I know it, I should have spotted it in the video. Well done
  4. Yes, probably. You may start over from the real layout detailed in the manual. What you really need is to add TWS/ STT toggle. :smilewink: With Warthog you should have plenty of buttons to replicate Mirage 2000C HOTAS which has less buttons.
  5. Magic use doesn't change. You already have Magic slave button and Magic unlock button. Both are working. Some things are improved, some recent bugs are fixed, but not everything was wrong :smilewink:
  6. Good news, happy to see it moving forward again
  7. This is a great video, thanks for your time testing it an d making video  Well noted the bug for the 21kt wind at 1600ft. Just a thought for the loaded Harrier: the Tarawa is sailing at 12kt and the wind is 09kt at sea level. This is a wind over deck of just 21kt, which is quite low. The Tarawa is supposed to have a max speed of 24kt. So making at 20kt (or above) should increase deck wind to 29kt or more and improve payload/ Harrier take off performance. An by the way, is this 21kt wind speed just impacting vertical take off ?
  8. Harrier GR3 cockpit
  9. I don't think Sea Harrier FRS 1 ever had moving map, it was for Harrier GR3.
  10. It's supposed to be Mirage 2000C S5-2C (RDI radar with NCTR). Originally mainly delivered to EC 1/12 & EC 2/12 in Cambrai, now operated by EC 2/5 in Orange. :smilewink:
  11. You're right. But the first Mirage 2000C (#1 to #37) were delivered with RDM radar, from #38 it was RDI radar, but it's still Mirage 2000C. Then there are standards like US blocks or lot. Mirage 2000C RDM were delivered and upgraded S1/ S2/ S3. Mirage 2000C RDI started with S4, and ended with Mirage 2000C S5-2C (nothing to do with Mirage 2000-5F).
  12. You need to hold the button until the missile is fired (long press).
  13. This is a general thing in the region, being India or Pakistan you can’t trust that much their opinion, it’s more a pissing contest than anything else. I read the Indian MiG-29A pilot interview, and he was mainly comparing dogfight in clean aircraft over the airfield. Off course the MiG-29 is the best in that kind of contest. But MiG-29A has no ECM, no air refuelling and I do prefer SERVAL over SPO-15. MiG-29A barely has more fuel than Mirage 2000 but 2 engines, not very good for play time. These are not features to dismiss if you mean serious business :music_whistling: A while back Indian pilots gloated over beating hands down RAF Typhoon with Su-30MKI during training. After the clash Vs Pakistanis F-16 and AIM-120 they are eager to get Rafale delivered with Meteor ASAP :music_whistling: Likewise a Pakistanis pilots pretended in interview they would turn around Mirage 2000 easily, but their solo display doesn’t demonstrate that capacity. Their area of contest is over high altitude mountains, and the Greek who operate both F-16 and Mirage 2000 explain that the Mirage behaves better above 20 000ft. Much to my surprise a F-15E pilot who did fly in Mirage 2000D told me the Mirage 2000 was performing better in high altitude too (but F-15E is much more loaded). So being India or Pakistan pilots, cross checking what they say is very important.
  14. What is the military background of Elon Musk ? Probably not much. So his point of view is pointless, he is advocating for his own business...
  15. The real ones have automatic gain control within some limits. You can also leave the front caps on (small holes in the front to let pass a minimum of light) to set the focus or just try it's functioning right.
  16. :megalol:
  17. I think the TDC speed is impacted by FPS. Since your FPS in VR is lower, your TDC is slower. At least this is what I noticed on my side, I also did the test by changing my screen refresh rate and I noticed the effect.
  18. It isn't about what we wish, it is about what data they can access to. It's the same thing for all 3r party studios.

    A7 Corsair

That's my point. Since Flying Iron Simulation announced the deal with ED the A-7 is for them to make. Good luck.

    A7 Corsair

I think it’s safe to assume, for any 3rd party, nothing is official unless an agreement with ED is announced.
  21. No worry, this does happen
  22. No, this isn't the Harrier :smilewink: Soon PPA: NB is number of bombs to be released and DIST the the bomb spacing.
  23. You can't or shouldn't be able to do so with GBU-XX on Mirage 2000. Only 1 by 1 :smilewink:
  24. There has been a slight agreement problem between ED and Razbam. But it seems it has been solved, and Razbam hold the agreement with ED to make DCS MiG-23 MLA. So I would say the case is closed.
  25. I have a test mission where I'm fighting 2 x Su-33 + 2 x Tu-22. Starting to shoot AIM-54 in TWS at 40Nm on Flankers, Tu-22 are lagging 20Nm behind. Each 4 planes start to chaff when AIM-54 is launched at them, which is weird. "t" being missile's launch time Lead Su-33 (launch at 40.2Nm) starts evasive when missile is 17Nm around t +30" Wingman (launch at 39Nm) is breaking right with Phoenix at 18Nm and t +26", but maybe he just starts to follow leader ? Lead Tu-22 (launch at 61Nm) goes defensive when missile is 7.5Nm at t +1'26". Wingman (launch at 58.5Nm) goes defensive when missile is 7.5Nm too and t +1'24" Off course, Flankers do evade Phoenix (going for chaffs when beaming) and Tu-22 are destroyed. So, I don't pretend to know for sure what triggers AI evasive, but it isn't just missile launch, or maybe inside a given range ?
