Good evening shagrat! Thank you for yor reply! I have now uninstalled f-secure and only using windows defender. DCS still won´t start. I intend to find another antivirus solution and will not renew my f-secure license. I will try and uninstall DCS OpenBeta again tomorrow. I have already uninstalled DCS twice tonight. Good evening mg_78! Thank you for your reply! Indeed I do run f-secure anti virus! I have also tried to add DCS to be excluded from protection without success... Do one really have to uninstall f-secure to run DCS!? Thats bad news since f-secure is our only antivirus protection. I have to find some other solution then... Thank you again mg_78! Hello! Until yesterday evening, my DCS OpenBeta 2.8.2.35759 worked perfectly. Then suddenly when I tried to launch DCS, It would not launch... Today I updated my Nvidia Driver ande Windows 11, uninstalled all mods and repaired DCS. Still the same problem!? I uninstalled DCS Open Beta from my SSD and made a vanilla install of DCS OpenBeta and the problem remains!? What to do? I would be most grateful for help! Best regards: Otulf

Hello! I totally agree with ValhallaAB that System 37 Viggen is a very good book about Viggen. ISBN 0345-3413. Good recommendation there ValhallaAB! There is yet another book that is written in Swedish, but quite good, and that is SMB:s AJ 37 Viggen written by Jan Forsgren. ISBN 978-91-88885-63-0 SMB (Svenskt Militärhistoriskt Bibliotek) is a bookclub about military history. Good evening Hallsy! I bought my copy of Nordic Airpower #5 Saab 37 Viggen and Saab 37 Viggen Walk Around at a aviation museum i southern of Sweden called Ängelholm (Former F10 Wing). It was one of Swedish airbases to fly the AJS 37 Viggen and is now a museum. According to Sven Stridsbergs book VIGGEN, Urban Röd actually had a couple of AJS 37 for a short time: 21-41 (former 15-14), 21-43(former 15-49), 21-44(former 7-44), 21-45(former 15-31), 21-47(former 7-77), 21-51(former 6-14). Hello currenthill! In case you intend to create annother helicoter for DCS... This helicopter is on my wishlist: Hkp 4. (Boeing Sea Knight) Used by the Swedish Navy (Hkp 4B and Hkp 4C) and the Swedish Air force (Hkp 4A). For those not familiar with this helicopter in Sweden: In the Swedish air force, the Hkp 4 was used for SAR. The Swedish navy used the Hkp 4 for ASW and SAR. If I am not completely wrong, was most of these built by Kawasaki in Japan. Best regards: Otulf

Good evening NineLine! Thank you very much for your reply! I only fly as single player so I can not refer to player flown aircraft other than the one I fly myself wich seems to work properly. I have added two track files with aprroach and landing at Kobuleti AB in Gerogia. One trackfile is with two AI AJS 37 landing and the other is with a player(Me) and one AI. AI did abort landing prior touchdown, then went around and landed. At touchdown the AI AJS 37 raise the canard flap when the wheels touches the runway and shortly after the AI AJS 37 turns of the rotating beacon during it´s roll on runway. Hello! AI AJS 37 Viggens activates the red rotating beacon prior takeoff on runway. They also turn off the rotating beacon upon exit from the runway. As far as I know rotating beacon should be turned on prior engine start and kept on until engine shutdown. I have also noticed that the canard flaps drops during takeoff and are raised after touchdow. IRL the canard flaps are down/lowered as long as the landing gear is extended. After takeoff when landing gear retracts, the canard flaps are raised. I apologize for my poor English. Best regards: Otulf
