Yes, it seems ToT has to be there for it to work. I agree that it should work without ToT since there could be missions where time is unimportant.

So, just to be clear, is it the shaders folder or the metashaders folder inside the shaders folder?:music_whistling:

Piteå (Kullbacken outside Hortlax) in my case, Kallax controlled airspace (?) southern entry point was somewhere above our house so there were many times we could see Viggen 2/4-ships flying over. Right with ya there!
-
That would be awsome! Maybe I can see the house where I grew up south of F21 :D

Since I don't know what reshader is, I assume I'm not using it. Is it something I have to install myself? I've been having crashes lately as well (but for some reason the past few days have gone really well, just one crash/freeze that I can recall).
-
Exactly what I've experienced as well. Going to external views and back crashes the sim.

For me, the screen goes black for several seconds. 2.5.3.latest-can't-remember

I did have a mild OC on both the cpu and gpu but i've removed that, at least I hope I have, I'm far from an expert on this. I almost need to know more even to be a noob  The few mods I had have been removed, I did a complete uninstall and reinstall of DCS. I have the A-10C, Hornet, Flaming cliffs and Viggen. I didn't install the SU-27 this last time since I have enough planes to learn and keep up to date on. The mods where some skins for Viggen and a label mod called "Label mod" by Invisibull. There where some "kernel-stuff" at the end of the text file in the unzipped crash log. What can that be? Also I saw something in an event log in Windows where my TrackIr 5 had stopped working. Maybe that one is causing all the crashes? edit: maybe I should have posted elsewhere since I'm not running OB 2.5.4 but maybe it doesn't matter...

Strange, it clearly crashes for me since DCS stops running and the window saying "unfortunately DCS crashed" and so on. Crashed again today but no log was created.

One more. dcs.log-20190107-122252.zip

And here comes the next, after reinstalling DCS completely dcs.log-20190107-120716.zip

I've been having crashes lately as well, both with and without an overclocked (moderately) graphics card. I do use Process lasso if that could be an issue. I'm going to make a clean install and try without any mods (have a few Viggen skins). dcs.log-20190107-074949.zip dcs.log-20190106-202420.zip dcs.log-20190102-183327.zip dcs.log-20190102-181502.zip dcs.log-20190101-190014.zip

I can't seem to find where to input this. Can you give me advise on where to find that please?

Great to hear!

** DCS AJS-37 Development Update + Manual RC1 Release **
Palten replied to Cobra847's topic in DCS: AJS37 Viggen
It's "shit-good" as we say in Sveden :P -
As far as I can remember, a JA37 pilot told us during military service that the wheels rotated 17% slower than the surface to get maximum braking without locking. Would be great if that could be implemented in DCS.
-
OOOO, nice! I'm getting a bit bored with the usual missions so I'll definitely check these out (although I'm busy learning the Hornet atm) :D
-
Of course not, but sometimes it's fun to know more than just the basics. I will remember to ask about this when I go fly a Viggen simulator https://www.novelair.com/viggen (hopefully) next month.
-
The thing is that my crashes during Red Flag hasn't generated any crash logs.
-
Also Red Flag mission 3 crashes randomly :(

Anyone else have problems with any Viggen weapons after patch?
Palten replied to Ramstein's topic in DCS: AJS37 Viggen
I used RB75 only yesterday and it work fine (even though I'm having trouble actually finding any targets before I'm too close and have to avoid enemy fire) -
** DCS AJS-37 Development Update + Manual RC1 Release **

I printed a few hundred pages from the latest manual at work, and the toner almost ran out, doh! -
The module seems to work better now, I can change to map and back without any issues. Also I haven't had any crashes restarting missions, so now I'm just trying to tune my TrackIR to give me smooth lookarounds :D

I'm using the POV-button on the throttle (TM Warthog HOTAS). Left/right to set radar range and up/down to change radar antenna elevation. Don't know if that helps you at all but still :)
