DCS F/A-18C | Air to Air Refuelling Tutorial [Early Access]
Joker69 replied to 104th_Maverick's topic in DCS: F/A-18C
Wonderfull Videos... Go...go...go... with the Hornet... :smilewink: -
I believe in DCS World project and in the vision of combact simulation as near as possible to the reality. I bought F/A-18 module the next minute after I saw the first video. Today, after seen some offical videos from Wags and other videos from some YouTubers I can surely confirm that the F/A-18 will be a masterpiece in flight simulation. I just want to take off with the Hornet as soon as possible... :pilotfly:

Wonderfull solution.. You have everything under control.. I think I’ll do something like this for my cockpit.. Inviato dal mio iPhone utilizzando Tapatalk

Copy! If it’s possibile to have any suggestion I’ll try them surely.. I would like to control cockpit only with HOTAS and clicking / moving the cockpit controls without touching my keyboard. I would like to use keyboard only for cameras, wiew, settings and so on.. Inviato dal mio iPhone utilizzando Tapatalk

I’m looking for the same solution.. I think to fix it just down of my monitor. In this way I have my hands on HOTAS and when I’ve got to move one switch I put my hand on it and I interact with the up/down position of the switch. My question is: it is possible to interact correctly with rotating knobs just like the wheel of the mouse? Or it’s not precise to do this? If not.. have You any other touch pad suggestion? No doubt.. watch carefully all beautifull videos of F/A-18 showed, all episodes, and you’ll be sure you have to buy as soon as possible this module. If your passion is this surely the F/A-18 Module is a must to have. I have purchased it as soon as it has been in DCS Shop and I decided it as soon as I saw the pre-purchase video.

Always problems after update!
Joker69 replied to rfager's topic in Release Version Bugs and Problems (Read only)
The latest update seems to be a disaster. First of all I have to say that I have bought all modules, so I can say I absolutely love DCS World. I know even that we are talking of a BETA version..so It's undestandable that we can find some bugs. The thing that don't work is that, for example, all 3D object have been deleted from Nevada Map and the same for the traffic. So my question is this: is it possible that noone in ED have tested the upgrade? It's possibile to find some minor bugs but to have 3D object completely destroyed as in an atomic explosion should be visible to everyone.. :( I hope in 2 things more than the others since DCS is really a great simulators world. 1) ED should fix as soon as possible all bugs and problems of the latest update 2) ED should concentrate in few project at the same time. So ED could finish one module and go ahead with the others. If ED is working on DCS 2.5 all resources should be concentrated in this project. You can add one module such as F/A-18 but with this is enought. Working on Yak for example it could subtract resources to the main project and so at the end no one project will go to the end... This is only a suggestion from a real fan of DCS that is me.. I have bought all modules becouse I believe in DCS World and ED but now it's time to concentrate all resources and take to the end some projects. Saying this.... good work to all ED Team.. now I'll go to take off in DCS World :joystick: (not in Nevada till the problem is solved)..... :pilotfly: -
[RESOLVED]Buildings have disappeared with latest 2.5 update
Joker69 replied to Emilio_Ger's topic in Object Bugs
I confirm there are no 3d objects, absolutely no buildings and traffic. I hope ED will fix this problem as soon as possible. Nevada Map is now unwatchable. -
Thank You Chuck... all these documents are simply amazing... You have done an incredible work for DCS World and all simmers. I've downloaded all documents and they are a must to have!!

RIP "Gospadin" ... really sad... 43 years old... there are no words to describe all this... :(
-
RIP... BLOOZE... Now Fly free in the Sky...
-
Simply amazing... I'll buy this module as the others. The metal parts are incredible..
-
You’ve got a very good hardware, even GPU has a great power.. so You have no problem to switch almost all options to Hi-Res.. everything will look better, not only A-10 cockpit. For cockpit Res I have “1024 every frame”. All other values to high. Inviato dal mio iPhone utilizzando Tapatalk

All 3 maps of DCS 2.5 are fantastic. Moreover the effects of lights, shadows, explosions, water and much more are still really great .. great job ED ..

Today I spent the whole day flying with the various modules of DCS. I took a day off from work and it was wonderful. I tried different combinations of modules and terrain, climates and hours, good and bad weather. Lots of combinations with incredible light effects, explosions, shadows and much more ... now, after many hours, I'm going to sleep .. happy as never before as given by this fantastic simulator .. I can not wait to try the F / A-18 ... Many thanks ED Team for this fantastic DCS 2.5 Beta. For me it is really a masterpiece! Thanks Wags for the announcement and the great work done by everyone.

Beautiful and epic music ... excellent choice ..

Yes .. You are right!! if we want to dream a little, we can say that with the beautiful F / A-18 coming in around April, we will have one of the main examples of multi-purpose aircraft and all-weather, day and night. So when we have the A / G radar we can really get the most out of this 4th generation aircraft. At this point we could get the F-16 Block 50/52. We will have both the USAF and US NAVY 4th generation multi-role aircraft. If we combine the other modern aircraft such as the AV-8B or the Mirage 2000 and the beautiful Mig-29 and SU-33 aircrafts, we will have a complete group of modern modules. :smilewink:

How to adjust v2.5 trees visibility?
Joker69 replied to msalama's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
Trees set at 80% are already sufficient. They are no longer seen growing from the ground and are ready and visible to the horizon. It is necessary to check if there is any other parameter that generates the effect of delay on the trees. In my case everything seems perfect. -
For the trees I found a good balance with 80% setting. They are not seen growing as you are moving forward. At the same time you can have the trees ready up to the visible horizon. 8X anisotropic filter, MSSA at an intermediate value. Cockpit at 1024 at each frame. Obviously it depends a lot on the computer you have. I find the DCS 2.5 really spectacular. However, it is necessary to do some personal tests for the settings in order to obtain the best solution according to the PC. Even the basic range of 2.2 for the GAMMA should be tested. It depends on the monitor and personal taste. Another important thing would be to have a monitor with high frequency (144) and possibly with G-Sync / V-Sync based on the video card. Finally do not use the HDMI connection but the DisplayPort.

Yes... the module I would like to have in my DCS collection is even the F-16 better if block 50/52. The video is not for that block but only for the beauty of this wonderfull "fly by wire" aircraft, with single frame canopy and single engine... Since Falcon 4.0 exist I've flown with all version of this.. FF3 - AF - BMS. Now I dream to fly with it even in DCS World wich is my absolute preferred simulator. :smilewink:
-
I hope one day to find in my Module Manager the F-16.. Better if in the Block 50/52 version... ;-) Just one reason to have it we can find in the following video.. absolutely amazing..

GlowingAmraam is truly incredible. I am subscribed to his Youtube channel and often I prefer to watch his videos instead of the boring TV movies. This time, however, has really "carved" a masterpiece ... it seems more the trailer of a film than that of a simulator ... I'm still impressed .. I bow before so much talent ...
-
Yes .. this is also beautiful ... I agree .. it would be great to see it updated to DCS 2.5. However it is so beautiful that it is always current ... for me 2 is better than 1 ... :smilewink: I like both them .. but there are also many other equally beautiful videos .. There are many talented guys and with DCS they can produce good videos. In this specific case I referred to the great concentration of effects and clever use of the cameras to represent the new and fantastic DCS 2.5...
