Figured I'd throw this in the wishlist section. We're looking at coming up on a year since we have had any semi-meaningful progress on this module. Would be cool to be able to fly this thing at night again without frying my retinas.

Nope I am not with ED, but both BN and NL said no devs are working on the A-10 currently. The one dev they did have on it was moved away from the A-10 months ago without any expected return date. So it's a bit more than just an assumption but more like an educated estimation based on their words and the lack of any progress with the A-10 since the December timeframe, the release of the Apache, and the current updates being seen by the Hornet, SC, and Viper. *The only real assumption is that in a few months, the dev will return. It could very well be longer until that status changes.

Because it does not have to be this way. Simple as that. I don't buy a computer sold to me as having a Graphics Card and then later having to pay separately for that circuit board's transistors. ACLS was sold as a Hornet feature independent of the SC. It doesn't matter if ED is small. And the fact that you're willing to excuse "evil marketing" (your words, not mine) is problematic to say the least. You also received a full product at that point. The Hornet and SC are still EA and not released. So your analogy does not work.

Don't need it, don't want it. I do want something that was made a selling feature of the Hornet on the Hornet forum for the purposes of making the Hornet more enticing to buy. I really don't see how a community can be so anti-itself and choose a business over a better (and as advertised) total experience.

And it should have an asterisk denoting the SC requirement seeing as how they are making ACLS a selling point of the Hornet module itself without any requirement whatsoever for the SC (not even sure if the SC was even a thing when they posted those expectations). Adding to this, ACLS is not mentioned at all on the SC module sales page nor ED's release video or its description section.

Nothing like forcing the SC purchase via another product bought prior to the SC's existence.

Still another few months (at best) until we get any movement on the A-10. Might have some luck with this issue since it's such a blatant problem, but they haven't had a dev on this aircraft in quite a while. Last real update was over a year ago.

Just flew in it, it appears to be gone (smooth flying from surface to medium altitude) and only minorly shakes in the extremely high AOA regime. So more or less back to normal.

Cockpit shake in multiple modules - removed.

Bumpy, yes....shaking constantly like you've lost a wheel down a dirt road...no.

Being shaken like that is not normal unless you're going through moderate turbulence. Most aircraft might have some vibration but unless you're in a weird regime, nothing of that kind of shaking actually happens.

Guesswork based on ED's typical pacing over the years (and multiple EA releases) and the fact that they have zero people working on the A-10.

Hope you got your waiting pants on. A-10 has at least another 3 months before it even gets looked at.

Any chance you forgot the pitot heat?

VR headsets are getting more and more impressive with each iteration.

Still no one working on the A-10. You've got about another 2 to 3 months until we see any movement.

It won't be, ED took the a-10 dev off of the module a long time ago. There are no devs working on the A-10.

They want you to buy the apache and forget that SC exists. Same deal with the A-10C II.
