...Have an advanced American fighter (F-15E, F-16C, etc.), or something Russian (MiG-29, Su-24, Su-27, etc.)? Just curious, wondering if I'm weird for preferring Russian jets to American ones.
No, I don't intend to fly it, I'm just curious. Was there something I missed somewhere on the forum? A free MiG-19 doesn't seem right, unless I'm special.
I can fly the MiG-19P. I don't have any missions for it, but I can set it to player in the mission editor or using create fast mission. Why? I didn't buy it.
I'm afraid it's too late to try to convince me against it, as I've already done it. Interestingly enough, an R-27ER is all that was fired at me, though I didn't bother to take evasive action. My wingman died, but I passed on to the next mission.
Yeah, the Fulcrums get lots of R-77s off at me at close range, and it's all I can do to stay alive...Doesn't work, of course, as I also try to fire at them.
I read your post just before giving up on my second try. Once again, I'd had to enter my wingman's aircraft. Next time I do it, I'll do the unthinkable and set myself to immortal, but just for this one mission. I don't mind cheating THAT much...;)
I flew the first few waypoints, engaged, died, entered my wingman's aircraft, finished the engagement, was ordered to go to waypoint three, went there, received no further orders, landed, and cannot proceed. What do I do?
Okay, thanks for the input, but I would still like to know if it simply has the appearance of the Su-35S, or if it can use advanced weapon systems like the R-77, Kh-29, Kh-31, Kh-59, and guided bombs.
I do intend to get the PAK FA at some point after it's finished; what do you mean by the ISVA Su-35 is just an Su-27 that looks like the Su-35? Does it not have advanced weapons (R-77, Kh-31, etc.) or something?
I own the standalone Su-27 module, I want a way to have its wallpaper available, as well as FC3. I thought it was possible, but if it isn't, that's okay.
Ah, Okay. I succeed at the mission. Also, I noticed that the briefing said 'audentes fortuna juvat', which I think translates to 'fortune aids the listeners'. Pretty funny.
