  1. I'm not objecting, I was just curious.
  2. It's cool to have them, but is it realistic?
  3. Please, please, please, ED, make, this at least an AI model for the sim. Even just the external model of the Su-30MKK/MK2/M2 and the Su-30MKI/MKA/MKM/SM would be excellent!https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=193893
  4. Since a recent update, all issues have been fixed. This thread is unnecessary, please delete it.
  5. Hmm...Well, I made a mission with two Su-30MKs, one Algerian and one USAF Aggressors, but before I flew the mission, I figured out that the Algerian one had reverted to the normal Su-30. When I opened the mission, only the Algerian Su-30 (now a standard one) was in it. According to the debriefing, the USAF one, which was the Su-30MK, had died before mission start. Weird!
  6. It is also used by the USAF Aggressors, but I cannot find it even when I take this file path in my file explorer: This PC > OS© > Program Files > Eagle Dynamics > DCS World OpenBeta > Bazar > Liveries. I can find the F/A-18A, F-111F, and MiG-29K, though, and none of them are (as far as I know) in DCS, even just as static objects. I have yet to create a mission using the Algerian Su-30MK static object and test it, though. I might do that sometime soon.
  7. MiG-29S Over The Hump Mission #03 Just some screenshots from my latest play of the MiG-29S's "Over The Hump" campaign, and specifically, mission 3. Enjoy!
  8. You mean, like, having the cockpit avionics option (English or Native) be like selecting the paint scheme, rather than like it is, which is just an options in 'Options'? If so, then yes, it's a nice idea, and I would like to see it implemented, as long as it doesn't take development focus off of other things.
  9. Yes, I, too, would like an updated DCS World GUI User Manual, to describe everything that has changed between 1.2-1.5 and 2.5. So, Nineline, one is planned, you say?
  10. Not sure if this is a bug, or something from LOMAC that didn't get removed, or what, but for the Algerian (though, oddly enough, not the Russian) static objects, there is not only an Su-30 option, but also an Su-30MK. I've never been able to see what it actually looks like, as it just takes the form of whatever static option was last selected (for instance, if you had an Algerian static A-10C, then, with that object, selected the Su-30MK, it would still look like the A-10C), but it's still odd.
  11. Heh...At Irkut Aviation Plant, eh? But, one question: why do some of the Su-30s here have R-27T/ETs on their intake pylons? I'm pretty sure they can only carry those on the intermediate wing pylons.
  12. Hey, Skatezilla, Gizmondo, Combatace, what's going on with this project? Any updates? Any recent work? Or just no time recently?
  13. Do you have to buy the F/A-18 to get the new carrier, or is it just in an update?
  14. Ooo...Nice idea!
  15. Well, at least AI versions of the MiG-29K, Su-30MK2, and Su-30SM would be cool.
  16. Yeah, definitely.
  17. Is anyone else having this issue?
  18. I also have an issue with mission editor crashes.
  19. Hello, everyone. Ever since the latest update, to 2.5.3, I've had some issues with the game. It seems that all but a few scroll bars (I can specify which few, if necessary) are broken. Whenever I try to click on the bar and drag down (or up), all that will happen is it will look like I'm dragging my mouse down the visible options (like, in the mission editor, dragging my mouse down the country options for some unit type), and only when I have my mouse at the bottom, does the bar start working, and even then it's kind of jerky. Though, one odd thing I just recently noticed is that the scroll bars work just fine when the game is 'minimized', the issue is just when the game is full screen. I've also had more game crashes ever since the update, though this probably isn't related to the scroll bar issue. By the way, the reason the scroll bar stuff matters is because I use a laptop, so I don't just have a little scroll wheel on my mouse. If there isn't a fix soon, I would like to know how to revert to the last version. If this doesn't make sense, I can try to rephrase.
  20. Since a recent update, all issues have been fixed. This thread is unnecessary, please delete it.
  21. Good point, Mr sukebe. I'd still love the 9X, though.
  22. I don't know that I'm all that interested in a module like that, but I'd love to be able to use the bigger SAMs, like the Patriot, S-300PS, and SA-11.
  23. As everyone here doubtlessly knows, a SAM's static detection and engagement range circles are always visible on the mission editor map. However, to see a ship's, armored unit's, or artillary unit's static detection and engagement range circles, you have to select the specific unit. I would like to have the static detection and engagement range circles for the SAMs AND the ships, armored units, and artillary units to be visible on the mission editor map, even when the unit isn't selected. It's very annoying to, for instance, have to re select the Pyotr Velikiy to see if I accidentally put an aircraft in its firing range at mission start (I do know that it can't actually fire at targets that are just on the edge of the circle).
  24. Okay, I did another test with the Russian ship. The scenario was 4 F-16Cs doing anti-ship strike, each with 2 AGM-88C HARMs and 2 AGM-154C JSOWs, and at ~8,500-9,000m MSL and ~500-600km/h IAS against 4 CGN 1144.2 Pyotr Velikiys. Here's what I found out: 1-The Pyotr has the 48N6 S-300F SA-N-6 "Grumble" AND the 5V55 S-300PS SA-10B "Grumble" missiles. 2-The 48N6 can fire at targets that are up to ~90-95km away!! 3-The 48N6 (and maybe also 5V55) is quite capable of engaging ARMs and cruise missiles, though the AGM-154s didn't have time to get all the way to their normal super-low altitude. It did prove effective against AGM-84A Harpoons that were all the way down in another mission, though.
  25. Here are the missions, plus a couple of others. I'm about to do another test on the 48N6's range. Russia Ship Test 1.miz Russia Ship Test 2.miz US Ship Test 1.miz USA Ship Test 2.miz
