Ok now im royally confused i currently have a Z97 Pro with a 4790K and a gtx 970 I knew the GPU is on the x16 lane slot I also am running a M2 120GB drive thats got the OS and C: on it. am I creating a bottleneck using the m2 as my C drive ? Now for the rest of my drives I had 1TB and two 500GB drives one 500 died:cry: and a 160GB from a laptop that the screen died on me. I was able to pickup a 120gb SSD for 40.00 locally. all SATA III. So what should I do with it would I get any benefit to run it as a CACHE for the Sole remaining 500gb that holds Tarkov and DCS atm or for my 1tb steam drive or should I transfer DCS to the SSD until I can replace the 160gb HDD with a 500 or larger SSD down the road and then. what will give me the best overall performance across the board not just DCS with all my games I have 600gb remaining on the Tb and 155gb on the 500 so the SSD i picked up for cheap wont hold either drives full contents but will hold DCS. I am personally leaning towards using the small SSD as cache until I can swap the small HDD for a large SSD. but I would like more advice before I do anything Thanks.

Question, wouldn't it be more realistic for grass/sand around an airfield to have a variable hardness-softness dependent on precipitation and weather I would guess this could be accomplished by seasons quite easily ground soft in spring hard in winter. I would think in RL the softness of the ground and weight of the aircraft and its landing gear design would determine how easily or resistant to sinking and getting stuck in chance a aircraft runs off the runway or tarmac. thanks.

as its a newer airplane the edge airframe to airframe is in the hornets favor, will it dominate? that's a little misleading since the airplane is only one factor in the fight who's got the altitude advantage, whats the threat environment like, weather, night vs day. loadout vs loadout. and lastly and most importantly the skill of the pilot. skilled pilots will drag the fight to their aircrafts and skills advantage. that being said the edge is still slightly in the hornets favor but even a skilled pilot in a hornet can get wrecked by a skilled mirage pilot if he makes a mistake.

They have stated you can set it to restrict the rotation, and I've seen them showing mounts for hotas and the rift cam. this is the 1st proper motion sim with vibration under 2 grand.. that the HC simmer can afford without selling an organ... great times are a head guys if you want you can use it as an expensive tub after flying im sure :thumbup: but the soap you'll have to provide.. other videos show it being used in a space sim and racing so response is probably pretty good... motors as well seem to do enough for someone up to 400+ pounds.. so unless your pushing max weight i think it will do fine.. again just like the Gen .5 VR headsets not perfect but the 1st decent step at making it mainstream... :pilotfly:

Its got plenty of power if you know how to use it, the thing is a tiny nimble fighter not intended to fight 4 or 4+ gen fighters toe to toe. its design by nature was a stripped down fighter designed to take on the Mig-21. and can hold its own against any gen 3. if you understand its limitations you can succeed now I am not saying its perfect but its got its own flavor that even after some more well known planes come out will still have followers. the aircraft you are describing as in wanting is not a F-5 but the F-20 just an FYI and sorry but that most likely will not happen. true, its a shame we dont have that capability to fire the AGM's .. Id personally like to see them improve the model to N model or maybe jump from the N to the F-5E-3 which has a cockpit in between what we have now and the F/a-18, can carry the python missile family vs the Aim-9 as well as 120's and most importantly A2A refueling. But that being said you go too modern with it and you have another less capable F/A-18. and lose the F-5's flavor to an extent that being said if we were talking hypothetical situations in the early 80's / 90's, the US left shady politics and shady deals behind.. and Northrop was left alone to sell the F-20 to foreign customers you got a alternate reality and the US aligned govts who otherwise would be hard pressed to buy the expensive f-16 lining up to buy the F-5 /F-20. *note the F-5/F-20 is the cheapest of the "teen Series" by 3 million USD from the F-16A and was 60% cheaper to operate and maintain. - the plane has its place, like a stripped down hotrod that likes a knife fight in a phonebooth.

IT.. would be nice If ED Upgraded the Lot 20 to the C+ or their "version" if certain aspects of the C+ are unavailable or classified. maybe some sort of "Frankenhornet" mix of C+ and the Swiss Upgrade 25 Program. But I am excited either way to fly the Hornet. especially once the the Syria terrain is released.
