AMD 7800X3D, 4090, 64GB DDR 5 Ram, Varjo Aero. No matter what, I was always getting stutters , then turned Terrain object shadows to OFF, and it was a game changer, runs much smoother. Before I had it on default. Still I see that trees have shadows and buildings too, so precisely which shadows are this shadows in the game?

Same here, much worse performance in MP since 2.9 I tried same settings as before 2.9 and definitely worse performance now. -

Will give it a try What is frame rate limiter, which settings increases performance? -

@=Andre=Andre Is there a way to change the airplane profiles? The FW190 A8 and D9 have very weird effects, when pulling the nose up (way before stall speed, even at cruise) I even unchecked stall effects and it is there. Simshaker for Aviators, with Beta Simshaker Sound Module with Bass shakers. -
I dont fly jets in the game or in real life, I do fly warbirds in DCS, and also IRL and do combat simulations , wake turbulence in DCS from warbirds seem spot ON to me, here is an example IRL flying. Not too different from what I experience in DCS.

I think it is very well modeled in DCS, feels exactly like in real life.

Varjo VR with FDR,AMD 7800X3D, DLAA looks amazing, if you can get good performance you wont see smearing of aircraft, Can you get DFR with the Quest? For the Aero that made the difference.

No it does not change anything. You need Foveated rendering (which gives you a boost in performance) , there you can change Focus multiplier, I use 1.4 and DCS looks super crisp and amazing

I am getting long pauses in DCS every time a new effect its felt, like I fire cannons, get a 2 to 3 seconds pause, crash land same, gear down , same. Any ideas how to fix this? -
I was running the first version of Varjo Fovetead Peripheral 0.5 Focus 1.3 Running beautiful and smooth My system AMD 7800X 3D, 4090 2.9 came I added DLAA and SSS , with this settings was looking amazing and still running smooth, then DCS started to crash. Downloaded latest Quad Views foveated , no crashes but it does not as good or has as good performance as with my settings with previous Varjo Foveated version. What are your settings with the Quad Views foveated? What settings reduces peripheral and increase focus resolution? For better performance and image quality I have tried and no luck, just looks low res with ghosting.

DLAA looks amazing in the Varjo. I have an older version of Varjo Fovetead , peripheral .6 and Focus 1.3 What does the below settings do? horizontal_focus_scale vertical_focus_scale

Fix the super human pilot model that can do positive Gs , sustained Gs forever and wont get tired (WWII planes) Then you get weird unrealistic maneuvers that ruins immersion
-
Looks horrible! I have Vsync off In MP I have solid 90fps , in SP stutters now and then (4090 with 7800 AMD)
-
Very happy with the Varjo, and DFR added performance that made it magical.

I am one who was surprised about the elevator trim of the 109. I think it is more of a CG issue, with the MW50 tank filled it is 180 pounds , plus the weight of the tank, and all this aft of CG, we need to remember it was a field mod in many cases, others was factory installed, but this probably affects CG, so it feels tail heavy and we need to trim nose down to feel a more neutral airplane. If you fly with that MW50 tank full, vs empty, you can feel a difference, and you dont need full froward trim
-
Thanks for showing that, I cant imagine a plane being manufactured with not enough trim either down or up trim. Even in cruise at 1.0 ATA you cannot use 0 trim, it will climb and you need , pressure on the stick at that power setting you need to almost all the way forward on the trim close to 2. I fly real planes, have flown from a Tiger Moth to a PC12 , cannot imagine flying a plane with the trim like that, would be a handful and dangerous in many situations, IMC for starters. Plane flies great and feels great except for the trim. In the interview the pilot mention the radiators, he used them manually, how do they work in game? I tried the right and left lever for the manual radiator and they do nothing.
