The AMPCD (Advanced Multi-Purpose Color Display) for the last many updates [more than a year] has had a non-functioning brightness knob. I realize there is a functioning contrast and gain control but it does not replace a functioning brightness control. It used to work prior to being broken over a year ago, why has this been missed for so long? Is a fix planned? Thank you.

I can't comment on the mouse wheel as I don't have the issue but if you use 4 different shift keys mapped to your mini stick which I find useless otherwise you'll be able to use 5 different uses for that wheel.

I see. Would you know if there is a way to use ram as a virtual file-paging for the graphics card like using an ssd for virtual ram file-paging...I realize the latency issue but was just wondering?

You don't need the Logitech software, I map directly to dcs.

What were you referring to?

I use the scroll knob mapped to scroll up scroll down to accomplish 1 line scoll.

Windows 10 settings I'd like to add, Nvidia updates may be part of this mix.

There have been too many updates between DCS and Windows10 going back over the last 6-8 weeks to be able to pinpoint which update actually caused it. I know I went through at least 1 or 2 Windows and at least 2 or 3 from DCS.

Never used the flashlight, I'll try it out. I was referring to the cockpit night/day light. CV1 here as well:thumbup:

Yes I use VR. I use 1.5 to 1.2 gamma transitional sunset to night. I dim the HUD very low I also use night light.

Yes I agree, but when I read about individuals with new top of the line systems [2080/3080 cards, 32gig+ram, 9900K processors] having stutter/freeze issues I can't help but wonder why when I don't have that with what system I previously mentioned...possible they have all options maxed out?

Thanks for the response BuzzU, so do you think the amount of current tint we have is modelled correctly?

I find looking through the HUD, especially the upper half, prevents me from seeing properly due to its darker tint. I find myself at twilight or at night sometimes looking around the HUD to see more clearly. I know there are mods to remove it but is this real world tint? Thank you.

Once I put in 32 gigs of memory I disabled pagefiling, never saw memory usage exceed much above 20 gigs. Don't have issues with stuttering, find the dcs experience very smooth running at a constant 45 fps on a 2TB ssd with a 3 year old system including a 1080 graphic card. Most of the reading on the subject has indicated page swapping is out dated but was once needed back in the days of limited memory capacity. Today's SSD and 32 gig mem make the difference for me.

I want to move dcs over to another monitor is so that I can use OculusMirror.exe on my main display instead of the default mirror of dcs. Unfortunately when OculusMirror.exe is on top of the dcs default mirror it takes dcs 'out of focus'.

Also I was thinking of removing the plastic spring base that the stock spring sits in, but I left it to act as a dust cover.

I tried putting the code into a .lua file but didn't work. Can someone please attach a .lua file that will move dcs to another monitor?

I stream dcs, when in stereo mode I am able to feed 3D to the viewer at the other end. I don't see the SBS image anymore when stereo is enabled.

What happened to stereo setup in the monitor options it doesn't seem to work anymore? Thank you.

I've read a lot on this subject, I believe there is 3rd party software out there that might be able to do this.

I have 3 monitors and would like to have DCS open on another monitor other than the main. I do not want to change this monitor to my main in win10. Is there a way to do this? Thank you.

After 20 minutes or so of flying multiplayer I began seeing 'connection timed out'. This started happening after the last OB update. Is this something at my end or is it server related? Thank you.

I've contacted Logitech a couple of times with a suggestion of a better fitting plastic spring seat to be more congruent around the base and also to have a tighter fit around the main shaft as it moves up/down. But in reality I don't think with all those moving parts you would end up with a better solution than you designed. I was thinking of attaching to the corner bolts all around the perimeter base a tube to attach 2 extra side springs and maybe a mid front and back spring as well.
