I liked the 16000 Stick...very smooth and no slop in the middle unfortunately we all have that with the X-56. But if you can get over the middle slop the X-56 stick offers much more. I didn't keep the 16000 set [pedals stick throttle] because the throttle was very cheap, lots of stiction when moving the throttle tiny increments...like mid air refuelling. If I could find a fix for the X-56 middle slop it would be an excellent stick for the $. BTW...what is ghosting?

All my controllers VR included are plugged into a powered USB hub with on/off buttons, so that's not an issue. As mentioned it's also possible it could be just the DCS sim alone causing this, I'd need to spend lots of screen time flying to determine this. A reboot or a log out / log in fixes the issue.

Windows 10 apps get corrupted after flying in VR. What happens, after a flight I click on 1 of the Windows apps like weather or news or settings, etc. and the scroll bar and window contents constantly jump up and down. Since I never fly non-VR I can't say for sure that it's not DCS alone causing this. This doesn't happen every time so it's a bit difficult to trouble shoot. Has anyone experienced this? Thank you.

If you have always had stutters at low AGL you may need to turn down your graphic options, sounds like your system is getting bogged down. What do your FPS indicate?

anyone else...AMPCD no brightness knob function Wondering if it's just me but anyone else have a no go with the AMPCD brightness knob, it's not functioning. Also the left and right DDI has been improved in sunlight but still not the brightness it used to be before it got broken. Thank you.

Is it just me that has no Brightness control...it's no longer working?

As I previously posted: The looseness I experience is coming from the spring seat not being wide enough at the beginning range of movement to make instant contact with the base rim it presses up against causing the first few millimetres of movement to have no spring pressure. I've been working on this issue for over a year...looks like you're onto something! What is the purpose of placing the straps and the 4 corner springs, shouldn't one or the other be enough? Isn't the stick spring it comes with strong enough, why the 4 corner springs? Also why use the steel clamp isn't the plastic tie enough to hold the springs?

OK then I have heard enough to convince me...thanks. I must admit though, I liked the sound I got from flaps and gear going through the entire range when flying the Mig or F-15. It was an audio confirmation.

Yes I do hear the beginning and ending sounds of the landing gear but nothing in between as for the the flaps nothing at all. I thought there would be a motor sound like you hear in commercial planes.

I'm referring more to sitting inside the cockpit. I hardly hear the sound change from idle through to full mil...as mentioned I have no problem hearing the AB. I would think at sub-sonic you should be able to hear more sound than what is generated. Also I don't hear any noise for the landing gear or flaps when engaged...is this as it should be?

When moving the throttles I don't hear a change of pitch from the engines at all except when it goes into afterburner. Is this as it should be? Also can the F-18 fly the Israel/Syria terrain maps, if so where can they be downloaded from? Thank you.

That never was a problem prior to a couple of updates ago...it got broken. Hopefully it'll get fixed.

You need to go into options>controls>UI Layer and map there.

The OculusMirror.exe has lots of options maybe in the 'help' it'll say if it could be done.

There is the DCS mirror we all see when we open DCS and there is the OculusMirror.exe located in the oculus folder, I was wondering which would be clearer for the viewer, in my case I streaming my flight over 'BigScreen' app. Thank you.
