I'm using a Rift cv1. This issue doesn't happen with any of the other maps. I've further read there is a known issue with Syria map causing stutter...awaiting update. Thanks for the feedback.

Does anyone know why flying low over any of the big cities in the Syria map causes audio stutter with no loss in FPS however.

I'm getting audio stutter from comms only when flying low over big cities like Beirut...however this issue doesn't affect my fps which is solid. Any ideas?

I've used both programs at the same time today long enough to know that changing DCS to Above Normal and setting Big Screen app to normal corrected the issue...so thanks on that tip:thumbup: But how do I change these priorities permanently so I don't have do this each time?

I had a very similar situation since its installation. I noticed the DCS CPU priority was set to 'high' and so was another program I ran at the same time. After setting DCS to 'above normal' and the other program to 'normal' the issue went away.

I didn't change anything in the priority settings and my understanding is any changes are only for the current session. By default at start of each prgram Big Screen app and DCS both run at priority High. I will try what you suggested, manually reduce DCS to Above Normal and set Big Screen app to normal and see what happens. Thanks...will let you know. p.s. I have 2 different programs that I run at the same time, DCS is one of them. Both are set to priority high by default. Both programs are crashing at the same time after 15-30 minutes. Should I reduce the priority of one of the programs to priority normal?

I've been getting this error since latest update; crashing DCS to desktop and needing to end task on it to clear desktop. Any ideas on cause? How do I access Security and Maintenance control panel? This isn't just with Vegas, Henderson as well and Dubai and other cities in PG. Interesting that sometimes I fly over these cities, and it stutters and other times it's perfectly smooth...taking the exact same flight course and altitude. Also in saved games/metashaders2 and fxo are deleted after updates...are there other folders to delete as well?

I notice every time when I look at DCS.exe priority in task manager/set priority, the priority is set to High. Is this correct or should it be set to Normal? Thank you.

Not sure if this is the correct forum to post this... When I'm streaming DCS in the Big Screen app, no radio messages are heard by viewers however I hear all messages. They see the flight perfectly and do hear all plane sounds inside and out of plane. How can I fix this? Thank you. [RESOLVED]see post below

Specifically over towns at low altitude has anyone else found Nevada and PG are harder on VR fps than the Caucasus? Thank you.

Apparently it got broken with the last update...seems like a lot of moving parts in that app.

The brightness was dimmed down to such a low value that allowed a bright day with direct and indirect sunlight to washout the details of the displays. This goes back to June 2020. When flying in VR the issue is worse. A patch came out June 10 claiming to fix the issue but never did. The actual brightness knob hasn't worked in the MPCD since at least 2 or 3 updates.

Was your USB port powered?

As the title says...

I use a 4 input Orico with individual on/off blue light indicator buttons. I plug it into my 1000ma USB 3.x using my Rift, j-stick, throttle and multi-purpose controller...couldn't be happier! As it is not self-powered, you will need to use a powered USB port as mentioned. Very nice not to have to do plug-in/plug-out...simply press a button.

Thanks gents all looks interesting but I'm more interested in copy/paste functionality.
