well I have the shark and love it, its not hard just put the time in to it and itl be second nature after a while, I asked the same question as you a while back, general response is get the 8, which I did and love, but if you find the shark hard, the 8 is a different beast completely, I would get it and just put in the time

just had the hurricane/spitfires and the Lancaster come over our house, we live near the airfield so can watch them land, the spit who is based here always flys over and tilts his wings to us. we have a lot of history in our house, as the spits based here, were delivered by our gran, they weren't allowed amo, and we had a spit pilot live here, weird those connections you don't know about till you move

have you tried just trying again, itl usually check for any downloaded files and start again

any ideas on this?

I'm getting the same, fine on first fly on SP mission, if I choose fly again, whatever mission I am on it will crash the game, usually needing task manager to close program down, win 10 log included dcs.log-20180621-205919.zip

as all these are on sale now, whats your top one for the 10c? was thinking of getting enemy within first

I'm just curious how many off us that have bugs, especially the wandering slew, actually have them now with this latest update? for me the slew bug has disappeared, which is fantastic news, obviously not fixed by ED, so some type of code change maybe? I still get the occasional input freeze on the control stick, and yea the cockpit looks **** but that's just DS, all in all a lot more flyable than she was. I have started to take her out again, and being my fav copter that's great news for me, so how is for you?

WOW, just WOW, not sure if you actually believe this or its just a fun discussion, while there are parts of your erm....theory.....that touch on possible or plausible/science fact, its so drawn out into falsities that it runs very untrue. if I have time and you want to discuss the current formulation on the universe and quantum theory/and or the possible black/white hole theory id be happy to, but not this

haha, yea right, I didn't say anything about the lights. maybe read first, but anyway there are a lot more problems than just that that some, maybe not all have but are recurring amongst them, surely by reading my post you could see I love the shark and want it fixed, or you just trolling

I like a lot of you love the shark, was my first module, then the 10c, and still these days of DCS completely valid purchases. if a first time buyer gets the 50 now god only knows what they will think and prob buy no more. I feel as I have said the shark is dead, but I hope I'm saying that to make me feel all warm n fuzzy when they address a lot of its issues. my major gripe is we never seem to hear from ed about the poor old girl. not even worried about revamps, as well she is meant to be a rough diamond in a way, but please let us know a bit more of whats going on eh?

well for me they are showing ready after take off and the cooldown but wont uncage, air stat NP, ill try a made mission later today, as in not one of my own

yep confirmed, if I start on ground, take off all usual switches on, the mav will not uncage, starting from air no problem, this is with the G

I must say as yurgon said, I tend to lower gear when I'm ready to attack, youre usually reasonably low any way, and if I do take too much damage and lose the viks, then take rockets and gun if youre not in too much danger

if you go to low on hover or not sure why but they do switch off by themselves, as for seeing easily I can never see a different state from mine, sometimes a bit lighter or whatever. but if you have landed and switched off its very easy to not know what state they are in, the point is the shark is getting worse and worse, and there never seems to be any news on updating or fixing the many problems that a lot of us have. I have said before but it feels like the shark is dead.

no your not missing anything, apart from more bugs, I'm afraid to say I don't think we will ever see the shark fixed, we sure never get any word from ED on anything for the poor old girl
