  1. thanks guys, just as said was curious as to who done what, also makes assessing some answers easier as to who knows what, we have them land near me, just love the thump they make. wish there were in DCS. had a couple of V22 (osprey)come over the other day, sounded great, very similar sound, still gotta try and get a ride in one!
  2. there is a harrier mod already for this on the store :)
  3. yea they are pretty resilient birds! never had this ever,,,at all,,,,,never.
  4. another vote for piercing fury here, dam fine so far, with in air comms to do extra things than the breifings, really enjoying it,
  5. yes I have noticed that too, when you reset it, like after start to the alt you want it goes out, but sometimes will return when you go low, think its just a light anomaly with the shader
  6. thanks for the info Terry, ill make a note of that one, im surprised really how cheap they are
  7. out of interest, what type of printer can do things of that size, was thinking of one as a future purchase?
  8. ok ill wait a bit, thanks cobra
  9. just wondering? is this you think the end apart from updates to spelling on the manual? if so I was gonna get it printed, or is there more too add?
  10. +1, I wish we could just land in a clearing with say a fuel truck and ammo truck for the whirly birds, be so much better.....and easier to land. just wondering if the harrier field mod would work with the viggen?
  11. anyone having control issues since the update, most keybindings have disappeared and track ir not working properly?
  12. using the warthog you can use the z axis, works really well and very easy
  13. OMG flogging a dead horse! give it rest or read the other threads save starting another one on same topics again and again, I'm sorry but it just gets a bit much
  14. just a question for some of you who answered to this, to me, its a darn cool manouver that looks equally as hard, ok maybe common practise for chinooks, but, are any of you guys above actual helio pilots? fly chinook? or is your arguments (in a nice way) just from the book?.....no disrespect meant just curious :)
  15. yep use it all the time, wanna make that landing coming up to quick ? reverse thrust :) also used it in dogfighting everywhere really, its a bit like brakes!
  16. not the one, but thatl do great thank you :), sometimes you just cant find a thing :)
  17. guys, cant remember the name, but I'm sure I saw on here a utility, that had a picture/layout of the TM warthog stick n throttle, then you could edit the file to add your layout of switch position etc to it and print it off, just cant find it?
  18. great new version downloading now, cheers guys :)
  19. excactly! ur the one who used a car ref, sorry I thought you would pick up on what I said obviously not, I'm done already here!
  20. now is the time to start learning the mission editor and make ur own, then put them on dcs site :)
  21. pictures? seen a few different versions of these so be good to have a report when you get it going
  22. thanks a lot guys, no the fault was all mine, when you come over the hills towards your waypoint and lz, its not quite apparent where you land as you have already spotted the farp, maybe a bit extra in the text window just to say, don't make a mistake and land at the farp to the left, its not ready yet...or something, as the little farm was a harder spot. not for all I guess:music_whistling:
  23. best thing is to try, a lot of the sp missions on dcs still work ok, like some of the mi8 ones you can overcome by clever flying or a bit of editing
  24. +1 oh and the whole silly car thing, if you bought a second hand car, which the mig in your ref is as its not of the production line clean, for a good price with a cracked windscreen...you would put a new one in...i.e a mod :) there really is no need to moan here all the time, its a simple fix guys
  25. dam plonker Rodney, being clever I kept coming in to the other side down the valley to get a good angle and low, as theres a farm there I didn't even look at the wp further away, theres a single landing spot by a small farm, thanks guys,....I dunno sometimes!
