  1. Are you getting stuck at the End Mission message? Thanks for playing it. We have a dedicated page on the forum if you want to come there. https://forums.eagle.ru/forum/801-sorelro/
  2. When you have the 10 seconds for instant win open your radio and you see the instant win menu under F10. I thought that was common knowledge. I should have mentioned it in the text. Sorry about that.
  3. What is the error message that you are getting? There is a known bug where you can't click End Mission but I don't know if that's what you are getting. Maybe send a track or some screenshots so I know what to troubleshoot.
  4. The problem that I have with the volumetric cloud presets is that if I want any kind of precipitation in these missions it makes it very hard to spot anything in the air, and also on the ground, I'll try to tinker more with it, but I would like to have some challenging weather and not just the fluffy clouds that look good in pictures.
  5. I see them fine, they are skimming over the second cloud layer, can't see the contrails against the cloud tough, but they are visible on radar too. Just tested it now. The weird part about the weather system is that contrails are more visible in between the cloud layers. There's also F10 and skip if it's too much.
  6. Keep reporting it to ED, that's DCS life unfortunately. I have a feeling this was an old bug that just got back again. I think something similar was reported before.
  7. They did, I saw people talking about it in the testers group. I wasn't able to replicate it on my end unfortunately.
  8. Come here: https://forums.eagle.ru/forum/801-sorelro/ for help. On thing you have to realize is that you are not alone. You have a flight of 4 with a lot of gas to spare. Take-off and make sure you have your flight joins up and it's in formation with you. This is a must throughout the whole campaign Once you get close to the bombers you can ask your 3-4 to engage the fighters, and the No2 to cover you. Also, you can use the AIM-9P5 to engage head-on. The engagement with the bombers shouldn't take too long. if you tangle with them in a turning fight you would lose. There are some youtube videos with people playing through this mission feel free to check them out as well.
  9. Between you and the F-4's you should be able to meet the mission requirements with your load-out. The AI wingman is totally dumb in this mission. I don't think they see very well early in the morning and he is terrified of SAM's, not a whole lot I can do about how they act unfortunately. As for the End Mission being stuck, any chance you can get a screen recording of that or try to replicate? I think that's something should be submitted as a bug to Eagle Dynamic. I'll test that mission and see if I can replicate it. What build you are running?
  10. Yes, it's been all submitted already, just waiting for the changes to make it to you guys.
  11. Hi guys, Unfortunately the updates I sent to Eagle Dynamics did not make into this release, I'm trying to clarify with the guys when they will be introduced. Sorry for the delay on this one. I hope it will make it into the update soon. With the new clouds some of the missions may be too difficult to fly and the target areas may be obscured by clouds. As soon as I know more I'll let you know. Cheers,
  12. Usually all the campaign developers keep all communication lines open, ED Forum, social media and Discord are ways the devs are communicating about their upcoming campaigns. Also a look in the ED Store may help you as well. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/shop/campaigns/p-47d_wolfpack_campaign/ https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/shop/campaigns/ka-50_2_pandemic_campaign/ https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/shop/campaigns/a-10c_operation_persian_freedom_campaign/ Campaign missions tend to run 45 minutes to 1.5 hours per mission if you don't count the briefing and prep time. So, still a lot of hours of fun. I hope this helps.
  13. Hello guys, The new updates have been submitted to ED. Here's what to expect: - skip mission feature added - win criteria changed to be more permissive after landing - weather adjusted according to the new clouds and precipitation - AI level tweaked in some of the missions - TACAN introduced at mission 8. Each missions will have one or two TACAN stations for the airports that are relevant to the missions. FREQ and identification in briefings. Cheers, SorelRo
  14. Thanks a lot for reaching out. "Cover me" is usually the best command, makes the AI wingman braver than usual. The AI is designed by ED with survivability in mind. so, in a FLAK or AA environment it tends to be shy. Not a whole lot we can do about how the wingman is acting in DCS. There will be some changes in the AI engine later on, but so far the AI in all of these missions are expandable and/or put there to tangle with the fighters and give you some briefing room. The more frustrating part is that the AI behavior has a randomness part about it. Sometimes they are brilliant and more often than not they are dumb and useless, but that's the card we've been dealt. Cheers,
  15. Hi guys, The weather for that mission will be reviewed with the 2.7 update, it will still be foggy but with over 3000ft visibility and runway lights on. Also that will be the first mission in the campaign where the mobile TACAN units are introduced and coming online. I believe that for that particular mission you have to be alive and landed somewhere along with the rest of the objectives. Cheers, Sorel
  16. Hello everyone, I listened to the feedback received in the video and I went and re-did the voices in Russian to better capture Russian aviation brevity. I hope this is good now and can't thank enough to be members of the community that helped me with this. The campaign has been submitted to ED and hopefully it will be released soon after the 2.7 update. Cheers,
  17. Hello everyone, With the 2.7 update I will update the campaign to support the newly added clouds. I will take this opportunity and add couple of features to this campaign. -skip mission option. the player will have the option to skip a mission at the beginning of a mission using the F10 radio menu -I'll re-do the "Mission Win" criteria so it's not tied so close to the aircraft being stopped and with chokes on -adjusting the weather and the fog in some of the missions -other improvements regarding AI airplanes All these should be ready after the 2.7 update launch. See you out there with the new clouds. Cheers,
  18. Hi there, it is totally possible to land. Like anytime flying in fog, you have higher visibility looking down and not forward, the airport is visible through the thin layer of fog from high up on my system. Make a circuit, make a pass, like a touch and go to make sure you have your visual references right, go up and keep a tight circuit, you should be able to see the airport during your circuit. line up and if it looks right land, if it doesn't rinse and repeat. TACAN won't help you landing, also, I can't do anything about runway lights in DCS. If you are on OB, I'll have to review the weather in 2.7 anyway and I'll introduce a skip mission feature in that update. Also, another option would be to eject in the vicinity of the airport. Once you hit the ground you should get a pass. Cheers, Sorel
  19. No, the 3 Cargo ship groups have to be alive, The SU-24's have to be dead, you have to be landed and under 5 KTS at the airport.
  20. Hi, easiest way to talk about this campaign is to post here: https://forums.eagle.ru/forum/801-sorelro/ As for why Krymsk is because pretty much all the campaigns in the Caucasus map are giving you a scenario with Red in the North and Blue in the South, that scenario never showcased the North side of the Caucasus map. That's why Krymsk and Krasnodar. Also, if you read the description of the campaign this is a quick reaction force, and, in USSR in the late 70's there were no navigational aids, so one of the challenges of this campaign is to navigate with a compass and a map, you will get some help from HUMMER and also, you can get some help from your RWR, you can use the HAWK batteries that are defending the airports to guide you home. Cheers,
  21. I think there's another post here about this. The ships must survive. You are probably intercepting the bombers after they engage the ships. The Mig's are no factor for the mission score.
  22. Thanks for this tip. I'll look into it. It will require an update on all 25 missions since it's probably carried over from some old setups, I don't remember ever using snap views, but who the heck knows.
  23. This is not something I have modified on purpose from the default config, but i'll look into it.
  24. Thanks, I'll look into that, probably a timer that is not behaving the way it should. Cheers, Sorel
  25. Don't forget that it is a muti-role aircraft, the version we have I would say it is more suited to a CAS role than a true fighter. It can carry quite a lot of ground ordinance, it has very capable guns, and flown right it has enough loiter time to stick around.
