Hi Chuck guide refers that you have to use SEQ to switch between both modes, but in DCS you have to use M-SEL to make it. I believe that Chuck's guide that was wroten in 01/2022 was up to date. has it been changed in DCS after the edition of the guide? Just looked at a video from 2019 and the switching was working with the dobber SEQ action.

reported IHADSS ghost image on the CPG screens

Never tested it with the MFCD off. Strangely only the CPG is affected by the bug. -
reported IHADSS ghost image on the CPG screens

Just made a new test in the OB non MT, it appears that this circles appears only when you have the sun in front of you and a front sun reflection on the TEDAC and the EUFD. As far as the screens are in the shadow, no ghost circles are present on the screens. In my mind it's like a projection from the IHADSS generated by the sun an reflected by some virtual mirror (or maybe the glass of the CPG helmet), but affecting only the TEDAC and EUFD screens, as i can see both MFCD are not affected. And none of this bug is visible on the pilot cockpit (neither MFCD nor EUFD). As Floyd1212 tells, it's effectively visible in the CPG boresight. You can see that the position of the CPG head affects the position of the circles. DCS AH64D ghost image 2.trk -
reported IHADSS ghost image on the CPG screens

Hi, here are my graphic setting ELEVÉ means HIGH (sorry all in french). You can see in the track that the ghost image appears only after a couple of minutes. I even tried to modify the signal and flood light to see if there are any changes, as well as the LEV, GAIN, SYM and CON, no changes at all. It seems that the circles appears after the TEDAC warmed up. Hope the track can help you. DCS AH64D ghost image.trk -
I thought hellfire maximum range was at 8 km, it seems that the L is given at that range, but the K have 11km range, depending of the trajectory.

Done the same with the AGM114L at same distance, i wondered that it kills the target at such a distance.

FS2020 is worse than DCS, i have some zone that are in cache memory on NVME that have a serious drop of FPS, and the CPU/GPU charge are wide under 50%. Bad management of CPU/GPU resource. In fact Syria need a lot of RAM/VRAM, same for the AH64. The mirage F1 couldn't be in my sight the reason of the problem... I have the F1, the AH64 and many other, the AH64 is the worst, and if you have many traffic on your map (either air or ground) the FPS drop down. Maybe can you make a test track on the Syria map and share it, so other people can test it on their PC, to see if there is a difference. Another information that could be important : on what kind of HDD are you? HDD, SSD or Nvme? Maybe the lack of FPS comes from the hard drive or globaly from your PC. Can you give us the type of graphic card you have? it could be a good point to know.

Your CPU is normally a 4 core/8 thread, but in your log there are only 2 core/ 4 thread. I check in my log i have 8 core/16 thread. As Antiguedad say, 16GB RAM is too low to run the Syria map. 32GB is a minimum, and it get full too on Syria map, with full/ultra, but with medium graphics it's better.

Hi first of all, it would be interesting to know what's your PC configuration. edit: just maid a solo test flight with an F1EE, 30 to 100 FPS, from heavy loaded city Beyruth in low flight 450 kts to desert zone at 10000ft. My setup: Ryzen 7 3700X, RTX 2070 Super XLR8 (8Go memory), 32Go RAM DDR4 3200 MHz. 32" screen 1920*1080. Syria is a heavy map, all RAM and VRAM are used.

Hi I just noticed this visual bug, it's like the IHADSS centering circle. When you move the POV it will follow.

Crosswind takoff / landing - disabling NWS completely?
grim_reaper68 replied to gulredrel's topic in DCS: Mirage F1
For correction at higher speed, I use small and fast inputs on the brakes to maintain the aircraft on the runway. I always deactivate NWS at the takeoff. -
Hi Would it be possible to have a aerial reco photo function include to DCS. For example: it would be interesting to make some reco flight to have some pictures from a zone to identify enemy vehicles, troops or other threats, to plan some bombing run or sead. Like the Mirage F1CR with it's integrated omera camera or reco pods .

Is it a screen from DCS or real? Because if it's DCS, where did you get the ASTAC pod?

I even noticed that the "start from ground" is only available if you fly solo in SP, if you have a wingman, it disappear. I discovered it while trying to start the F1 in a french shelter (static object)

I just tested it on Caucasus yet but in can test it on other maps (Syria, Persian Gulf, Sinai, Nevada and Marianas). Edit: I've made several test on different maps. It comes out that the UNI error appears only with the option "start from ground", but not cold start in my case. Maybe it's the same for other pilots. But as said I tested it only in SP, but maybe are the spawnpoints in MP set as start from ground, and the UNI error could come from that. Edit 2: confirmed! Every try on all the maps I have gave the same result, alignement ok from cold start at parking, UNI error if the "cold start from ground" is selected. I don't know if "cold start from ground" is correct, my DCS is in french. Hope it helps.

Hi In SP.

Hi, same for me, and it's impossible to reset the UNI warning. Fully shut down the F1, then clean startup (parking brake set, waiting about 2 minutes for gyro alignement etc..), the UNI warning light comes at the end of the alignement. Also tried the automatic start sequence with same result (first ALCM with UNI warning, then shut down, 5 minutes cold and dark, then auto start seq) . I had it with ALCM, ALR and with ALN too...

Hi I've made a GBU bombing mission with the F1. For the guidance, you can use additional vector. For example, my target is at 299°/56nm from senaki (tac 31X), just set up the bearing and distance on the IDN, and the tacan of course. Then use the RNAV-VA . I release the GBU at 12000 with a light diving at 6-8 nm from the target, it works fine. I'm using the Predator drone with autolase. Also tested with JTAC on the ground, which works too, but you have to make all the radio stuff before it lase the target. You can also use a waypoint (then use NAV-N)or the waypoint offset (NAV-VA), to find your target.

In fact it's not the same problem. It's not a complete layer that disappear, only the nearest clouds at the edge of the point of view. If I understood correctly, dynamic clouds are 2d generated and that's not working correctly now. But the static weather uses 3d clouds and that works perfectly.
