interesting. how do you switch between "Lot 20" and regular F/A 18c model. Mine always comes up and shows "Lot 20"

ok, i looked at the HUEY "directoutput...lua" and the "saitek...lua" -- quite a bit going on there. i will only have the Saitek throttle plugged in, i probably already said that but just in case these scripts are looking for the stick anywhere, it won't be found.

i may be in over my head as i do not know what the fip is. also, please don't go to too much trouble on the script. i'd hate for you to spend time on this if you have other projects that actually reward you for your time $$

wow. yea, i was trying to see if that LCD panel would be of some use and i can also use some of the misc. buttons for F-16 / F-18 related things.

Good stuff and thank you. I long for the day that i can do 4 screens (T) at high frames. But I like VR too, so I will be considering next steps there too. I heard some good options exist in the $600.00 (usd) space., but probably $1000.00 by the time you buy the sensors and hand controllers. (HP i think, can't remember). Helios is also great, so my eye is always on that for immersion and use it often.

could you share your non-vr settings? I only have an Oculus-Rift so i would assume i am going to get screen-door even with my 2080Ti, so i right now use single monitor 2K 144Hz , and 3 monitor 1440p depending on what Frame-Rates i can live with at the time. I also do a "T" config but that's on hold due to FPS. I would be interested in the nVidia settings and DCS graphics settings and thanks in advance and if you don't do anything but VR, thanks a ton anyway and thanks for all of your contributions to the DCS forum.

thanks for your reply, how much work is that? I fly the F-16 as well as others, but the Hornet is the go-to plane for carrier landings and things like that... but again...depends on what it would take to write that script. thanks again!!

Without going through old versions and old posts, is there a working mod for X-52 Pro for showing frequencies on radios on the LCD display of the throttle? I am only using the throttle for alternate usage as i have a Virpil HOTAS setup. For example, i might use the throttle axis of the X-52 Pro throttle as a lever for something else that needs an Axis control in the Hornet and I will use some of the lighted buttons and things like that. I have the X-52 Pro Throttle only sitting on a mouse metal plank attachment to my Virpil T50 CM2 Stick (WARBRD Base). And so it just gives me more buttons and the LCD display and also the AXIS of the throttle itself. Any suggestions on the alternate usage for the AXIS that would be great!

i have read the SLI threads where there are some profile settings i need to take care of once i attempt it. But, just wondering if SLI would still work on the most recent version of DCS (current build) that was released on June 10th, 2020? Or it was released on June 9th or 10th, don't know for sure. But anyway, I have a 2080Ti and if I do SLI with two cards, i just want to make sure i'm not throwing $$ away by trying (buying) two cards with SLI if some sort of bug doesn't allow it to work. i wouldn't even know how to go about that. certain terrains and planes were purchased back when serial #'s were required. So i have a combination of the old and new and so would I need to find keys from purchases like the A10C, Normandy, etc.? or would i not have to worry about it, un-install everything, and re-install and it will pick everything up? I also have mods like Helios and certain files had to be modified for dim text, line texturing, etc. Or would the following be an option, Uninstall DCS, re-install DCS, then restore my OpenBeta folder from a backup? Then find keys from previous purchases, re-invoke those, then download all the planes and terrains on top of all of that? thanks for any suggestions!!

can't wait. purchased it, but it does not show up in Caucasus as a super carrier mission, any ideas, ive done the rebuild and repair from the BIN folder, updated the software manually to make sure it is at the latest version. Won't show up for some reason. thanks

Still no joy. Manually installed latest version tonight after doing a repair & clean-up (The two commands from the CMD while in the bin folder. No Super Carrier Missions in Caucasus for the F/A 18. I do not own Persian Gulf. Just a real strange deal. Any add'l thoughts?

I do not have TRACKIR and keep getting plugged/unplugged messages, any way to trouble-shoot this? i don't have any tracking devices ... i have Oculus but haven't used it in about 2 years...i guess that has tracking, but back to TrackIR...why would that message keep befuddling my system like that?

I think you're onto something there! What, I have no idea. But it would seem there is nothing wrong with the extra texture details and the rotation and detail of the radar dish

Great catch, but that rotating antenna is such a great part of the graphics of the supercarrier, I hope it is not eliminated. I realize you are just calling for the shadows to be removed, but that also adds immersion (to a degree). I would assume there would be other ways of re-writing the code for that feature, to make it much more efficient at it's motion render. Or no?

wow, thanks for sharing. Pretty significant test you ran. Also, after you looked over the bugs that were part of the most recent patch, can you share which of the changes are most significant? Apparently, as you are reporting, they didn't do a frame-rate change, which is understandable considering what they must have on their plates. I can't get supercarrier to show up in missions, so you're one step ahead of me. :( But I'm sure it's user-error and I'll get to muscling the repair utility again tonight. Thanks again for your efforts with the texture mod.

I'm sure some updates will be around the corner. The product will ultimately give us a rush of adrenaline. Can't wait!!!:thumbup:

Under "Mission Qualification" right underneath "Mission Qualification - Defensive Systems" is "Mission Qualification - Takeoff and Navigation" and then lastly followed by "Mission Qualification - Valley Run" ,,, so it doesn't show them anywhere like on your choices. Do I have to have the Persian Gulf module to run Supercarrier?

Super Carrier missions are not showing. the product is purchased and installed and shows up as an ICON on the starting screen and also under installed, it is at the very top and is green slide-bar right position. No supercarrier missions in the F/A 18 or anywhere else. I can fly to/from the Stennis without issues so i know my F/A 18 is good to go. thanks for any help with this. DCS version 2.5.6 on initial splash screen. I have Caucasus, Nevada, & Normandy...is that my problem, i need Persian Gulf ?
