  1. Great! It's believed that you get the point! Carrier module owners are supposed to be the Commanding Officer of the boat or Commander, Carrier Air Wing. Much appreciated! That is the best suggestion I seen so far.
  2. If the Carrier module has RTS-like combat and navigation mechanism itself, it will be proper. It will be relatively ideal that integrate carrier CIC(Combat Intelligence Centre) and sail navigation into the Supercarrier - I am ought to wait it for future.
  3. I know... but the ground units are really needless for me. Getting a solution only to steer ship seems to not a excessive wish.
  4. Yes, I still stand by for that. I mean that I wanna get the answer faster.
  5. It seems that there are something familiar with my question as I posted. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=261034
  6. Can the ED team give me an answer about that: yes or no. I need make a decision whether buy CA or not. Thanks.
  7. I pre-ordered Supercarrier but I support this reason. For me, I recognize that ED should clarify whether I supercarrier onwer is required to buy combined arms to steer the ship. I posted this question for months(and I asked it again yesterday), but sadly the ED not responded me clearly so far, and even I can accept an answer about steering ship required combined arms : YES or NO.
  8. Hello, I know that CA is not required for purchase the SC.(And I have bought the supercarrier) My question is - to control(steer) the ship require to buy combined arms? Thanks.
  9. +1 I said that in the earlier time. I just want to control of ONLY the assets in the SC, and it seems that not a over-estimated wish and not a difficult technique to implement. I also mentioned that I can wait it to be materialized in the late-stage of early access even formally released stage.
  10. I have pre-ordered Supercarrier. I just found the features description saying as below: During the early access period, the following additional features will be added: Air Boss station. Briefing room. Occupy the Landing Signal Officer (LSO) station with PLAT camera, including VR support. More LSO station interactions. Combined Arms integration. "Burble" effect. Wave off and bolter return to pattern radio messages. Functional barricade net. It means that I have to buy CA to take helm of the Carrier? As I said before(in the other posts), it's not fair for I only-Supercarrier owner, and I'm sorry for that I have no interest on Army and Ground engagement so CA is really unnecessarily for me. I'm a pure-naval player so I'm eager to take command the Carrier and her aircraft and need a solution to control the Carrier without CA.
  11. Hi, can your team copy all contents of patch notes to the forum thread as previous times? I'd like to see those contents in the forum thread as usual, and it is faster loading speed in the forums for me.
  12. I'm waiting all the time so far, and I will pre-order on the first day.
  13. I hope that we players can take command the Burke to take maneuvers, combat engagements via RTS methods.
  14. I hope some day that ED adds Japan as one of F-15C's nations alone with F-15J liveries.
  15. At least, it is relatively practicable that create F-15C Japanese liveries as F-15J and F-4E Japanese liveries as F-4EJ in the future. Getting a few iconic Japanese units(as F-15, F-4 alone with a few AI units) is more than not any Japanese unit.
  16. Note: this thread is only available for Modern-era Japanese Units, not for WW2. Hi devs, very nice to see new free map - Mariana Islands. As we known, the Japanese Self-Defence Forces usually participate Joint Exercises in Guam along with their US, Australian and New Zealand partners. So, for making DCS more realistic, it is urge that introduce Japanese Units. To make Japanese Asserts more likely to materialize, it can create AI units at the initial stage(s), then make some of them pilot-able. Both free and payment Japanese units should be taken into consideration. So far, those units can be made: F-15C Eagle(current status) with Japanese liveries as F-15J(JASDF 航空自衛隊) F-4E Phantom(as ED planed module earlier) Japanese liveries as F-4EJ(JASDF) T-4 Trainer, as AI unit initially, then as a pilot-able module.(JASDF) T-2 Trainer and F-1 Support Fighter(支援戦闘機)as AI units initially, then as pilot-able modules.(JASDF) P-3C Orion as AI unit.(USN, JMSDF 海上自衛隊, RAAF, RNZAF and etc.) E-2D Hawkeye(current status as AI unit) with Japanese liveries(JASDF) E-767 AWACS and KC-767 Tanker as AI units(JASDF) SH-60B AI unit re-modeled with Japanese liveries as SH-60J, hope be a pilot-able module in the future(JMSDF) Kongo Class Missile Destroyer(こんごう型護衛艦) as AI unit(JMSDF) Shirane Class Helicopter Destroyer(しらね型護衛艦) as AI unit(JMSDF) Murasame Class Destroyer(むらさめ型護衛艦)as AI unit(JMSDF) PS: I know some of you guys will find that I omitted some units as F-2 "Viper Zero(平成零戦)" and P-1 ASW aircraft, and Japanese Ordinances as AAM-3(90式空対空誘導弾), AAM-4(99式空対空誘導弾), SSM-1B(90式艦対艦誘導弾). Due to data of those units are still classified, so they are not proper for DCS world currnetly.
  17. That is to say - there needs a new system to steer a whole CVSG, both manually and automatically modes to be implemented(i.e. take turning command on the Carrier Bridge, then escort ships(controlled by AI) follow this move). It seems that the system should be based on CA but it needs some improvements.

We really appreciate your commitment and devotion to DCS, thank you again. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your families. 19. I have posted this(those) question(s) at other threads previously. In short, as I mentioned before, ship(in fact, it's for the whole CV Strike Group) steering(change course and speed both manually automatically) function is necessary, and it's not fair to force supercarrier owners to buy Combined Arms Module to materialize that.
  20. As a addict of modern naval combat, I believe that is a appropriate option for developing a real-time naval combat module(like Jane's Fleet Command)
  21. As I mentioned previously, the supercarrier should have its own ship steering function. However, a newsletter said earlier that ship steering would be integrated into Combined Arms module without more information. I leaved a question for that - is it means that we have to buy CA to take helm the Carrier? If CA is necessary, it won't be fair for supercarrier owners who not own CA.
