More specifically, it needs more clarification that so called "bugs" considerably affect whether gameplay MP mode only or SP not play smoothly as well.

I think a "Solo-play version carrier" should be acceptable. Yes, I always play single-player, almost not play online mode.

Basically, those questions are more essential for all naval ship module(s) than Supercarrier itself. I'm concerning those scenarios for Supercarrier currently. It will be ideal scene that materializes naval ships command and control and interacts with all naval air operations.

My mission design wishlist for the Supercarrier
Sonoda Umi replied to MagicSlave's topic in Wish List
It should be available for manual operations. -
That is to say, to realize this function(as the post title said), the Supercarrier module have to own ship steering and navigation system. I think some questions in this topic related to the thread I posted earlier. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=261034

Something I worried still happens... I suggest that you should post a similar thread on DCS 2.5 bug report section.

What happened to carrier take off release function ?
Sonoda Umi replied to Tony kim's topic in Bugs and Problems
I tested, it should be solved after Mar. 31 patch. -
There is another question: The IAS from speed indicator doesn't match IAS from status bar - reading from speed indicator has appx. 100 knots faster than status bar IAS - which one is correct? P.S: Current in-game KIAS and INM from speed indicator match the Airspeed Position Error Correction Sheets in NATOPS F14AAP-1.1

F/A18E/F Super Hornets block 1 and BLock 2 E/F ( lot 26)
Sonoda Umi replied to Kev2go's topic in DCS Core Wish List
Wow... Rhinos have been selected by LW. Typhoon and Rhino would be double happiness for LW fans. -
F/A18E/F Super Hornets block 1 and BLock 2 E/F ( lot 26)
Sonoda Umi replied to Kev2go's topic in DCS Core Wish List
From that day Eurofighter Typhoon announced, I have a similar thought. As said above, getting a block 1(AN/APG-73 version) Rhino should not be unrealistic(seeing VRS F/A-18F Rhino for P3Dv4 and possible for future new Microsoft Flight Simulator). Further more, F/A-18F Rhino block 1 will undoubtedly be a ideal counterpart for Typhoon. How wonderful it is New-era 4th Generation Fighters for DCS world: Eurofighter Typhoon For Air Force fans(LW, RAF...), and F/A-18F for Navy fans(good for RAAF fans as well)! -
So, have to buy CA to take helm of the Carrier?
Sonoda Umi replied to Sonoda Umi's topic in DCS: Supercarrier
Hello Developers, I have seen the FAQ by wags, and I find nothing mentioned about this question. Can I request Developers to clarify it more for Q/A? Have to need Combined Arms to take control the Carrier or not? It seems not a hard question to answer, and always no responding is not a good resolution, dose not it? Thanks. -
Considering that thread and the answer from Heatblur , it is obvious that the problem includes F-14B Carrier Launch issue. Further more, more than one users reported this bug to directly Heatblur earlier and Heatblur said it was not a issue can be done by their alone, and then we posted the same problem here.

Still cannot launch using the catapult after patch
Sonoda Umi replied to mattag08's topic in Bugs and Problems
After the latest patch(Mar. 20), the Catapult Launch still has this problem, and we have to do something like this:https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=4242799&postcount=21 -
Forrestal has suddenly become very important

I wanted to say the same just now. -
Still cannot launch using the catapult after patch
Sonoda Umi replied to mattag08's topic in Bugs and Problems
I have reproduced your operation today. It works on Catapult 1 and 2, but not 3 due to aircraft crashed on deck. More specifically about point 2: move to Catapult position and then request takeoff via radio menu from Stennis ATC, and then double click U - you can see the jet blast deflector going down, and click U again - note the deflector rising again, which means you hook the Catapult successfully. -
It will be good and necessary for "DCS Airshow" configuration. And It will be useful for some flight tests due to light-weighted .

Honestly, DCS urges to have this function especially in multiplayer circumstances. Ideal situation is that AI pilots AWACS aircraft(E-3 and E-2D) but player can order its flight plans and control friendly forces as well via RTS mechanism. I don't mind it being a payment DLC if it is fully functional.

+1 It seems that releasing 2.5.6 in February is a failure. It's March now, and it is frustrated that F-14B Debrief error, Carrier Operations broken still unsolved. We need a more detailed explanation from ED about that.
-
Mar. 4 update released. Nothing new about F-14B debrief and Carrier Operation bug resolution?

Good suggestion

[REPORTED] catapult broken - Destroys aircraft while trying to "attach"
Sonoda Umi replied to T-Pap's topic in General Bugs
My situation Update: Player F-14B can be launched by holding the Nose Strut Compression Switch down, but AI F-14B still won't work. After that, Catapult launched the first time(from Catapult 3), and then returned to the ship, more bugs triggered as below. 1. Nose wheel unable to hook Catapult 1 and 2. 2. Trying to hook Catapult 3 again, the Aircraft boomed on the deck. CarrierTestMission.trk -
