  1. As I mentioned previously, the supercarrier should have its own ship steering function. However, a newsletter said earlier that ship steering would be integrated into Combined Arms module without more information. I leaved a question for that - is it means that we have to buy CA to take helm the Carrier? If CA is necessary, it won't be fair for supercarrier owners who not own CA.
  2. Objects on the carrier are not only aircraft, but other invisible ones. Other missions many aircraft parking on the carrier have no considerable fps drop.
  3. Hello HB team! Great mission! Just a question here: I found there being a huge fps drop when I launch from carrier/approach to the carrier, but seems other missions not having fps drop like this. Why?
  4. To be serious, it is eager to create a player controllable AWACS system to take command the aerial operations. Especially, the AWACS system is very important for Multiplayer Gameplay. Actually, the cores of AWACS mechanism are situation awareness, command and control systems, which is much like a RTS game, and the AWACS aircraft not have to pilot-able like other DCS pilot-able aircraft - it is enough that AWACS aircraft has AI autopilot with manual directional navigation system.

  7. It seems not a high expectation. I meat that is a not fair option to force buying CA. In other word, to be straight, my expectation is only that Carrier module has a steering function itself(it would be a mechanism based on CA), and not have to buy CA. I'm so sorry again - I really not want to buy CA due to no interest on Army and I just wanna be a Naval Aviator
  8. Of course I know that. However, as mentioned before, I have no interest on Army and ground engagements(i.e Tanks and Armour-ed vehicles) so I have no intention to buy CA. MORE IMPOTENTLY, the Supercarrier is a BRAND-NEW module, and the Aircraft Carrier is basically a ship so is it not awkward no steering(due to no the other module)? It's believe that implementing a helm and navigation mechanism which can be based on CA function for Supercarrier module is a more proper way. Even I can wait it being implemented on later EA stage or formally released stage. I hope that ED can notice this question.
  9. I have mentioned this issue at previous replies what is not a proper way that forcing buy CA to control the ship. However, it seems only few ones taking care of that - it makes me sad.

  12. I have a problem here: so far, I reached BFM vs F-5E and ACM vs F-16C mission, but I cannot fire missiles or guns(pushed the trigger but no response). What's the reason? Of course, all weapon system online.
  13. I think it can be a suggestion: implementing ship compass and navigation system(it should not be too complex) into the Supercarrier module, not having to depend on CA module.
  14. Carrier control question Hello all, It's sad that I asked in Carrier discussion thread no response. Have to buy CA to control the carrier? The Supercarrier as a brand-new module, the ship controlling is suppose to a basic function(yea, the Aircraft carrier is basically a SHIP), so the module with SELF-CONTAINED pilot-able function is a proper move.(even I can wait it being operational in later early access stage or formally released stage.)

  16. Reading in newsletter: Combined Arms support for steering the carrier and using weapons. There is my question: User without Combined Arms who owns Supercarrier module has no access to take control the ship? I'm sorry for that I have no intention to buy CA due to no interest in Army and ground engagement, so I don't believe that is fair for Supercarrier owners unable to control the ship due to no Combined Arms.

  20. update: all F-14B skins have a bug: blackwing. Check the back wing plz.
  21. after the latest update, the VF-103 last raid texture goes wrong. see it: black wings. P.S. I noticed just VF-103 skin having bug so far. Anyone has temporary solution(such as alternative skin download)? edit: Christmas fictional skin has the same bug.
  22. currently, I hope that one day we will have RTS-like control-able Arleigh Burke, Ticonderoga, Nimitz. RTS will be much easier than full-aspect pilot-able ship like pilot-able aircraft. It is the reason why I mean RTS rather than full-aspect command ship module like Silent Hunter and Destroyer Command.
  23. Same question here. As the previous announcements saying, the ED will add ship control function for the carrier, so the ship control is very necessary suppose to be a helm and compass navigation system to match the action that turn into the wind.
