  1. Hi All, At night when I switch on my cockpit green or white light, I can only see it in one eye, the other eye sees the cockpit with no light as if it was switched off. i have a Reverb G2. Are you facing the same issue? Or do you have an idea for a solution I can try? Thank you very much for your help
  2. Hello, Just received my 3090 this morning ! EVGA FTW3 ULTRA GAMING, I replaced my 2080ti without changing any of my settings. I'm using HP Reverb G1. I tried couple of "instant actions" in F18, F16 and UH1, those I use to check FPS and my settings for years :) Where I was around 50fps with my 2080ti, I'm now @90fps stable with all 3 aircrafts/helo. I also quickly fire Supercarrier Mission, on the deck I dropped to 80fps I didn't try yet multi with an "heavy" mission
  3. Agree with Bob, not necessary to have it in VR where it should be in reality, mine is close to my right hand. After few flights, it is becoming natural to click on the right button. Ok, it is not as real as 1:1 placement but it is efficient :)
  4. Hi Wags, Looks like your profile for ViperGear ICP V2 is not anymore in the last OpenBeta release. We can quickly and easily create one, but just for you to know :)
  5. Bonjour Foreign Pour tes avions, il y a les bibles de Chuck Tu cherches « Chuck Dcs tuto » et tu vas avoir les liens vers le grall ;) Voilà bons vols
  6. Hi, no big issue to make it work well. Significant improvment vs my rift S and smooth in booth SP and MP missions with 150% SS (same specs as your rig). Key action to get smooth experience, be sure to enable « Motion Retroprojection » and your set Reverb in 90Hz. To do so, remove "//" in front of "motionReprojectionMode" : "auto", and check it is "auto" Good flights
  7. Hello You see it in windows mixed reality settings If you don’t see it you can download the app in Microsoft Store To check if you are in 90 or 60 Hz you can look at your fps in game (Right CTRL + Scroll Lock) and look up in the sky, you should see your max fps in a light mission. Good flights
  8. After a couple of hours flying with my new Reverb V2, here is my feedback and comparison with my Rift S. Quantitative First FPS impact, I ran several missions from light to heavy loaded to compare FPS from starting position (to get as precise as possible) I kept exactly the same DCS and nVidia settings, for Rift S I used 1.5 SS in OculusDebugTool and 150% in Steam VR for Reverb (1.5SS and 150% are not the same ratio, but in both case quality/fps was pretty good imo) Overall results are showing slightly better FPS for rift S in most of the cases (not all, I don't know why) I have seen more variation on Rift S, looks it quicker to change fps up and down (ie: on heavy mission on the ground when the reverb is steady 33 fps, rift move from 40 to 31) Overall with my settings, it is pretty similar in term of fps/experience in most of SP and MP missions. Qualitative Image is sharper and clearer on Reverb, (logic, higher resolution for same FOV, 1280×1440 vs 2160x2160). Difference is visible, but with SS1.5 not as big as resolution ration should suggest. Ok, image is better, sharper, cockpit is great, outside view gorgeous, country side details a lot better, but does it help in term of gameplay/efficiency? I won't comment the potential benefit in dogfight, but when I'm using the FLIR, the difference is significant, I don't use VR Zoom anymore (Rift S owner will understand :smilewink:). So does it justify to spend €650 if we already have a Rift S? you are the only one who can answer :) RIG: i9 9900K, 32GB, 2080ti, Full SSD PS: out of Rift S, Valve Index, Pimax 5k+ I owned all of them, Reverb V2 is a very good surprise, and for me the best for DCS and iRacing PS2: I already sold, years ago, all my HP shares :)
  9. Hello, For your information I tried to fly mission 1 in our latest 2.5.6, everything was OK at the beginning, I was able to see Wolf 1 and we flew together. Later on in the mission, I got some trouble: I any case, thank you for your campaign, hope you can fix it :) Fly safe
  10. Hi Harker, Same issue here, I face the same issue (exactly same description :) ) I can't fire my MAV, it seems our 65E is not locked on a laser. What are we forgetting? thank for your help
  11. Thank you very much Raelias !
  12. Thank you very much Chuck !! Feel Like I'll Read it again soon :)
  13. Hello Owning CV1, Pimax 5k+ and Rift S, I confirm, Rift S is by far the best experience. Pimax FOV is impressive, but that’s it. Moving from CV1 to S is a great improvement PS: Who wants a 5k+ ... good price ????
  14. +1 would be great ! If done, I’ll buy the Mi8 ;)
  15. Thanks for your feedback I think I'll wait for next gen and use my Oculus since then :)
  16. Thank you Kreidel, Looks like your feedback is shared on the web regarding sweet spot size. Overall you still prefer Odyssey +?
  17. Hi I’m looking for your feedback before buying Odyssey+ I understand that the anti SDE will smooth image, with a positive effect on « outside of the cockpit » environment, but my concern is cockpit readabilty. At the moment I run Oculus at 2.0 and cockpit is pretty readable without zooming World appreciate your feedback on this: is Odyssey+ making cockpit instruments sharper and more readable vs Oculus SS 2.0? Thank you very much

  19. My 2cts: I just received my 2080ti (replacing my 1080ti) to feed my oculus, in a nutshell here are my feedback/impressions - I moved from 1.2 to1.8 through oculus debug tool - very stable 45fps on all Maps in all situations - I pushed my settings a bit higher, better shadow, water Max, trees 100% (could give you my exact settings if you are interrested) My impressions: 1- not a revolution but a very good evolution 2- moving to 1.8 using oculus debug tool, is making cockpit a lot more readable, I’m using a lot less my zoom binding 3- another important difference is when you look quickly left or right at high speed, it stays extremely smooth, it was not the case with my 1080ti Best example: fly low in a valley surrounded by trees (100% coverage) with high shadow settings, and turn head left or right 90° - with my 1080ti @1.2 it was not smooth, with the 2080ti @1.8 it never goes below 45fps and stay extremely fluid Overall a lot better experience, due to better image quality (1.2 to 1.8 ) and no perceived drop in fps in all situation, a lot better fluidity vs 1080ti Does it justify 1.3K€, you are the only one having the answer Good flights PS: on top I have a 4K 28’’ g-sync monitor for other games, improvement is impressive !
  20. fly slowly around 40/50, you should achieve to do it. Be carefull when you arrive, I was hovering too much => engine heat => broken => crash :) Good flight
  21. Cargo is extremely sensitive :) same I had to fly around 40, and guess what I was not good enough, too long hovering engine broke :) in 2.5.0 droping zone is not in the forest Good flights
