Well if the 9 month time thing runs true to course then is it will be Jan 2010, though I wouldn't be surprised if they try and get it out in December for Xmas. I don't know if Xmas plays into marketing anymore.

OK, if it doesn't create missions then I suppose you have create the missions for it. Then what does it do that is so earth shattering? Sorry for the dumb questions but I never understood what was so great about it if you still have to create the missions. Does it take the missions you have created and then bring them up automatically at the end of a mission in random order so you don't have to pick them. it does it for you and off you go to fly?

Is there an FPS hit by putting the pilot visible in the cockpit?

Does this mod actually make a mission or do you make the missions and it plays them randomly?

I believe there is a delay when firing FFARS and Vikrs. Mash button and hold till launch. Get used to it.

I agree with Viper, the learning and coding cruve should be much smoother with the A-10C. The big thing is to port it to a simulator for the public instead of a simulator for the military, which may be harder to do then one would think.

Yes there is Force Feedback and it is turned on by default. I suggest you make your own profile as by making it you can tweak it to fit your style and things will be much more fluid and intuitive if you make it yourself. It isn't hard at all and is really better then learning someone elses profile.

But the question is will it run with decent FPS on this years high end hardware or will you need next years high end hardware which will be expensive.

Bummer in one way, kewl as hell another way. I like the way they aren't trying to be a have everything right now and deal with the mess kind of company. Slow, patient development should give us sims to fly for years to come.

It is a problem and it has been reported. I hope they can sort it out as GAI is an important ingredient to making a dynamic, living mission environment.

Can you host a local LAN party and have people from the outside join in on the missions? In other words is it LAN/WAN capable?

Why ED didn't code the infantry spitting chewing tobacco, I don't know. Maybe it is because you can't code everything in life :D

Full price for a stand alone simulation which MIGHT/MAY be compatible with other stand alone full price simulations from the same company. As I understand it, it is still up in the air whether the sims will interact in multiplay with each other.

BTW, the threats are AAA, MANPADS, Anti Tank Missiles, and APC Main guns.

The 23rd Motorized Rifle Battalion has been spotted in the forest east of Chala. 4 Player Multiplay mission to search and Destroy them. Use this mission to develop tactics to find and destroy each unit. You will know you have destroyed them all when the Victory message comes up. One tactic is to send a rabbit low and fast over the forrest and look for Tracers and MANPADS. This won't be easy but it is doable. Rearm and refuel as need be at the nearby airfield. Again, I have patch fever, but I would like a patch that fixes just as much as they can fix/implement. We'll be better off in the long run the more they can do in patch 1.

I have patch fever so I would like to see it NOW, but I want to see it done to ED's standards so I'll put a wet wash cloth over my forehead and wait. :D
