  1. I've been going to the site since 2010, it's really helped me become a better Flanker operator. Thank you so much for the effort and time that you've dedicated on the webpage to the community. I will definitely sub to the youtube channel and anxiously await further content.
  2. Ordered the R7 1700X. Been waiting for Team Red to make a comeback.
  3. I've actually migrated to Linux full time. DCS Support would be great.
  4. Currently downloading 1.5 but: 1. How do I install the existing modules that I have? 2. What's changed since 2013 lol? 3. Any useful tips for me?
  5. Hi all, I haven't touched DCS since 2013 and I'm currently installing DCS World 1.5 right now. I'm a little overwhelmed. Any tips or tricks to help me get back on my feet.
  6. Doubtful, the pictures are widely available online.
  7. The aircraft is still in development. Compare the YF-22 and the X-35 to what we have today.

    Harrier poll

    GR7/GR9 all the way
  9. Anyone test DCS World 1.5 with Wine?
  10. The T-50 is so beautiful.
  11. I'm looking for a new build as well after being away from DCS for 2 years. I guess I'll wait for EDGE as others have indicated
  12. I'm extremely pumped for this. Considering his level of knowledge developing F-35 sims for the military I have no doubt that this will be a phenomenal project and product. Good luck
  13. Your absolutely right; here's the hud tape from the actual incident:
  14. These guys work really hard to support our niche market. $39.99 or $49.99 is a steal imho.
  15. Personally thrilled that we have more products being churned out from ED. P-51D is going to take a lot of ingenuity with respect to mission design. Either way look forward to the release; good luck ED.
  16. Oh wow X-Plane 10 looks amazing!! Keep up the good work Austin you deserve the success!!
  17. I don't think that they explicitly said that the compatibility patch would be free but that they insinuated that it would be free. Most of the the indignation on the forums is directly related to ED's lack of clarity on the matter. I think Sobek or EtheralN stated that ED purposefully did not say anything about the Black Shark 2 pricing because they got a lot of heat for charging for Flaming Cliffs 2. I definitely think that Black Shark 2 was worth the $20.00 and I would pay that $20.00 again however I don't want this to be a precedent for future ED products. I personally think the community updates (although 100% better than a year ago) need to get a lot better. I mean Luthier @ 1C does a phenomenal job of providing weekly updates and the amount of dissent on their boards is minimal. Just my 0.02 for what it's worth.
  18. Happy birtchday!!
  19. You got to be kidding me:music_whistling: I think our community is very patient however a lot of people (I'll speak for myself); I'm fed up with the wait for a DCS quality fighter. Since LOMAC was released I graduated University, started my career, got married, had 2 kids and purchased a home....yeah I've been patient lol. /end rant
  20. Seems like a fun simulator. Picking it up today!
  21. I'm inclined to believe that there is a lot of credence in what Moa is saying as he has a wealth of experience. I am also inclined to give Eagle Dynamics the benefit of the doubt because they have been doing this a long time; that's not to say that they can't do things better or differently. An example: To a layperson working on multiple projects in parallel may seem like the most efficient way to get things done. With effort a development team may be able to finish a goal five times faster, but this only reduces the time for the development process as a whole by a little. In contrast, one may need to perform less work (working with laser focus) to finish twice as fast. No one know's but ED though. I guess the point is no one knows ED's internal software development process better than ED; however as Moa is an expert on software development consulting he has credibility to opine. I guess what we can take away from this is as a business it's in their best interest to get as many products out as possible to keep the cash coming in (i.e. a release a couple years isn't doing it for them).
  22. I'm more of the line of thinking that ED will provide us a module for something that they have already received a military contract to do a desktop sim for (e.g. The A-10C conversion trainer). If we use that logic maybe F-15C Golden Eagle . :D who knows
