  1. Flight models are the stuff of black magic to me, I had a look at the work going into it and did some research on getting the flight data but I too sympathise, this was from the CFD software from last year. The propellors caused quite a few issues with negative lift and all sorts of weird stuff but its mostly ironed out now Most of the data was lost in the 1959 fire along with most of the manuals so we have to use computational fluid dynamics to generate data through what is effectively a wind tunnel
  2. nullTop surface riveting detailsnullnull
  3. nullTesting out the panel lines on the wings with a quick unwrap before mirroring the wing over to start adding individual detail like landing lights and air intakes
  4. 200 bomber raid without LODs or mission optimisation = need for multithreading and a NASA PC but still creates a spectacle
  5. At the moment no, At this moment in time ive completely rebuilt the wing from the ground up and we are focusing on getting a working aircraft for people to fly in, Maybe we will do some AI assets as a modpack to play around with at some point but focus now is getting client aircraft working
  6. The scans have come from a variety of places, the guys at just jane are really helpful and one of the people in discord donated some scans he did of the bombadier and wireless stations in nx611, Theres also 3d scans from the university of calgary if im correct which are both interior and exterior, the closest you can get to a orthographic view of the main panel (that ive found) is here in EO 05-25A-4
  7. FM159, a Mk X in Canada
  8. Is it possible to change the effect speed has on the droplets?null Would like to make this work for warbirds and slower aircraft in heavy rain but the raindrops end up glued to the front
  9. Using 3d laser scans to improve the quality of the model and improve scaling. the scans for this particular section were abit messy but there is still enough detail to see the longerons and the square in the wing where the emergency dingy is stored. Scans with less area can be more detailed to the level where you can see panel lines and induvidual rivets but due to the nature of the scans (this one with holes was 22 million polygons), its not feasible to do with larger components such as a whole wing
  10. nullScreenshots from a night mission last may so ignore the lack of details in areasnullnull
  11. Already added, the same T/R1154 radio set as the mossie so will be faily simple if you already know it,null
  12. Its funny you should mention that, We flew the 2018 RIAT display doing the trenchard + for this years december virtual airshow, should probably remaster that and post it at some point but screenshots should suffice for now, Will turbocharge, supercharge and extra charge the tractor for you
  13. nullDamage model work in progress, no bullet holes in the wings at the moment but the systems are damaged underneath as you can see, who knew that big fuel tanks caused big fires?
  14. the lanc has enough fuel to get it to northern africa from the UK so it should be able to get anywhere and back on all of the maps in DCS, The navigator is a very busy man but yes it should be possible to calculate range fuel burn and make a flightplan with some research and maths skills, Bombing accuracy is as it would be in the aircraft, probably more precise in DCS as people arent truly in danger from flak but the searchlights make it impossible to see anything on the ground if you get caught in them anyway.null Hurricane isnt something that we are doing, it is a separate mod group but we like to fly it with the lancaster to recreate the battle of britain memorial flight display team that operates both in the skies of the UK and europe, bomb tractor and trailer will be with the lancaster though. Tractor racing makes for photo finishes with how slow they are
  15. nullTwitch replay of our VIAF 2022 show based on the 2018 BBMF display at RIAT https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1676194997?t=03h50m17s
  16. Survived fine, Its 100s of feet per minuet so no worries, Theres stories of a test pilot doing a barrel roll and the wing sustained evasive spirals in combat
  17. According to google translate your asking about a release date? At the moment theres isnt one since we dont want to rush to meet deadlines and release something unfinished
  18. Do we know if 2023 3DS max will be supported by the EDM Tools soon? My licenses for 2020 have expired and it only allows 2023 download, Thanks
