Instant action (version 1.5.6 open beta): Viggen cold start - 1'st 55 seconds 2'nd time 40 seconds. M2000C cold start - 1'st 40 seconds 2'nd time 27 seconds. No mods installed. I'm now reverting back to the stable version and see if there is a difference. The same test on the stable version 1.5.5 release. M2000C cold start - 1'st 40 seconds, after that 10 seconds. Updated back to version 1.5.6 open beta, same tests. M2000C cold start - 1'st 60 seconds, after that 30 seconds. Longer loading times than before and less stable framerates with the open beta on my system. With less stable I mean, when in VR I used to had a solid 45fps always, now it dips into the 20/30's ) Loading the viggen takes about 55 second for the first load after that it's about 40 seconds. It may be the viggen or the DCS word beta, but I also notice a less stable frame rate. But the viggen itself is beautiful in VR.

Why don't you use the GUI updater ? I'ts really a great tool.

Same question, please enable us to use labels in this campaign. With VR for me without labels it's really difficult to spot something. Why not let the users who bought this campaign decide how to play it ?

And try reducing the clock speeds of your 1080. I have the same card and it gives me problems (crashes) running at stock speed in DCS. I underclocked the core & memory 100 MHz. Disable all non essential services in windows. On my system apple services cause severe stutters.

Did you see those tiny labels thru your VR headset ? Because when I start DCS "normal" only then I get the labels like in you pictures, but not with VR.

Yep, label are huge, also with the mod. I'll check the draw distance to see if that helps.

You have to restart DCS after assigning a button for zoom. Did you do that ?

Press left Alt + L for a flashlight to illuminate the cockpit. Only some modules.

You don't need Steam or SteamVR running to play DCS in VR with the Vive headset. Most of the time I shutdown Steam and SteamVR before I start DCS to play in VR. The game starts automatically in VR mode and your headset will turn on. You can link the CD-key from the modules you bought with steam to your non-steam version. Go to you profile on the DCS main website page, HERE and copy the cd-key (you can find it in steam under links on the right hand side of the DCS game page) from the steam campaign or module in the licence check box. The module will then be tied to your account and you can install it thru the module manager in DCS.
