  1. Would it be possible to recreate AAA fire randomly firing in the air like what was seen on the first night of Air Raids in the Gulf War? I have tried but not finding much luck... any help would be appreciated...
  2. Arya is definitely going to kill Cersie.
  3. Get well soon, Wags!
  4. Seems red smoke and new smoke from explosions have a white out effect on the A-10C TGP and AGM-65D's.
  5. It would be nice if we could pick up Troops on Carriers/Destroyers/LHA's/etc for transport. Hopefully such a thing isn't too hard to implement.
  6. Bummer! Seems like something that should be wish listed. I'm on it!
  7. is there a way to use Moose to deploy troops from the Tarawa on to a Helo??
  8. It's a M2000, believe it or not...
  9. I could have sworn he promised a road map soon.... looking forward to seeing what their plan is
  10. Is it not at all possible to embark troops on helos from LHD-1, the CVN or a DD? There's got to be a way, right??? (for AI helos)
  11. OH! Thanks so much man, that did it.
  12. Maybe I am missing it - but where can "Binding to Transport" be found?
  13. this is exactly my view.
  14. Is there any chance that Heatblur would include an AI EA-6B in to their plans since they're already working on the A-6? It would seem like an opportunity missed if not. Would certainly complete the flight deck of the carrier as that is the only aircraft we currently don't have represented at this point. Sorry if this question has been asked, I suppose it is sort of an obvious one. I realize the functionality would be severely limited... but even it provided ANY jamming at all for packages, it would be well worth it.
  15. " \ " -> "F8" -> "F1"

    World Map

+1 for the world map. It'd make a lot of sense to have highly detailed areas that have already been created included in a global map. ESPECIALLY if they go on to make an Iraq and Afghanistan map. Flying sorties out of the PG map and seamlessly transition to the another high detailed/developed Map while (maybe) flying over generic photo generated Terrain would be great. We spend a lot of money on modules for realism. I think ED should continue to strive to maintain a level of realism in their world creation as well. I think it's feasible for online Navy squadrons to do work ups on the Stennis on the East Coast and then make their way to the PG all the while doing cyclic ops. Or for online Airforce squadrons to make the flight over to the theater getting "drug" by a tanker, stopping along the way as needed. This would create a whole new world for DCS and the Online squadron communities. To actually do "deployments" to specific theaters of combat. Might be a little pie in the sky too, I imagine. At the very least, it'd be nice to tie these maps together somehow... While the longer flights (and tanker hook ups) may not be for everyone - I do think this niche would be big enough in the community to justify it. And the guys that want instant action would certainly still have that option, obviously. As far as the underwater stuff.... it seems interesting.
  17. Clearly ED got it wrong. This should be corrected immediately. "spin recovery switch" I always thought that sounded phony.
  18. When I was deployed we generally had a 12 hour flight schedule, this would allow for a mx window both for the boat and the squadrons (catapult's, arresting gear, even the flight deck is in constant need of mx.) Typically starting early afternoon. This would vary though depending on current operational tempo/temperature. There is always an E-2, EA-6B and S-3 in the air during the flight ops window. As well as at least one Helo. These aircraft would generally always be last on the recovery cycle. There isn't anywhere, to my knowledge where you'd find information on the subject because air plans are classified generally. They don't want too much of that data getting out. They are also air wing/carrier strike group specific I'd imagine.
  19. Seems like an easy way to reenergize a great product and bring in some more revenue. Most of their work is done, all they'd have to do is freshen it up a bit. I'd pay for a suite upgrade. I never flew the A-10 until recently... but I hopped in and now the F-14, F/A-18 and the Harrier are all collecting dust on the flight line because the Hawg is a BEAST.
  20. I have had a similar issue with GBU 12 and 16 on the TTI server. Bombs track fine on other aircraft - but not in the Hornet. This is a new development... worked fine before the most recent update.
  21. Hello all, Has anyone come up with a decent set of bindings for the warthog yet? (Including the lantirn controls.) I’ve started to throw my own together but- If there’s a recommended way, i would like to follow it!!
  22. It seems the F-14 cannot be placed on the deck with too many other aircraft... If I place one, it moves a majority of the aircraft to the next closest field. If I delete everything and start placing the F-14 - I can get a maximum of 4 (they park themselves at the Cats), if I exceed that - they go to the next closest airfield. Anyone have any ideas? They are able to place more on the TTI servers for some reason...
  23. Wow - that was epic.
  24. I can't believe no one has mentioned this yet... I actually scrolled through the youtube comments and no one brought it up. !:58!
