Hi, In what condition is the HOTAS system atm? Does it somehow compare to A10 or F18 where you can access all relevant functions via throttle and stick? E.g. can you control the TGP via throttle/stick or do you have to use other controls? Thank you!

I dont see this in the near future. And also I am curious how they want to implement this. Either it would be super clumsy to tell Jester what he has to target via the Jester AI menu or Jester is that good at it thats it full automode with any involvement of the player. Super boring. The mod is imho the best solution for this issue.

Replayed the mission yesterday and the bearing bug is still present. Could this be an issue with the mission file itself? I do not get this in any other mission or campaign. Also it is impossible to fly into the direction of a selected waypoint. HSI will give a direction. But if you fly into the displayed direction you are not flying to the selected waypoint. On the HUD I am even not able fly into the direction of the selected waypoint. Waypoint will always be displayed left or right on the HUD. You can turn where you want. You will not get the waypoint indicator into the center of the HUD.

Sadly DCS AI is not capable of somehow independent smart behavior. As long as ED does not finally start to improve the gameplay aspect we are stuck with what we have. Thats not the fault of the campaign developer. This is lack of involvement of ED in their campaign/mission system. This is what upsets me the most. While the community does this incredible job with all these impressive dynamic Campaign/mission stuff ED is not anywhere near on improving main gameplay features like AI dyn. campaign engine and other core features of the simulation. Even the campaigns we buy in store are made mostly by 3rd party. But they announce every month a new module in development. Great! You can not charge someone for improved AI. Sad truth...

I dont see an issue with FOV in any HMD because as soon as you look slighly to a side your sight gets unclear due to the lense sweetspot not aligned perfectly. So why a large FOV if you can not identify anything.

My main issue is not the head position. Problem is that when I move my head into the right position the top part of the HUD is hidden.

Hi, I am new to VR. Getting in for the last few days. I have an issue with the standard head position. When I spawn in the plane I am usually so deep in the seat that I can not see anything behind me. Mig29 is here really bad. Solution would be to move the head position up. Ok, now I can spot things behind me. BUT basically half of HUD is not see able. Do I miss here some special settings? I use the Rift S. Thank you!

Hi, I am thinking about getting into VR. Running a 1080ti and a 6700k @4.6GHz. Anyone know if it is possible to run the Rift s with a half descent performane on this hardware? Thx

On multiplayer it makes sense. There you habe usually large missions with alot of units.

These are the open projects which come adhoc into my mind. I am for sure missing some. And none of them are close to finished. FW190 maybe. FA-18 still alot open after 1 year EA. Hi, I am experiencing since a few weeks constant CTD. In the Windows event viewer i get this. Its always the ntdll.dll I get this on every map in every plane. At least 1-2 times per session. The button is recognized in the t-link SW. Red LEDs in the left panel are on. But virtual axis are not activated. In AUX interface only green RUDDER LED is on. LEFT/RIGHT BRK are off.

Auto start procedure stops in the first mission. No audio from the french pilot is played. Only the one from the player.

Yea, sure. But the 2nd Mission in the Red Flag mission shows the correct heading. F2 view vs. Plane instruments. And the 4th mission also. Only the third mission shows random headings. Different on every start.

Any answers to this? I am also quiet new to the server.

Hi, It seems that in Mission 3 the compass alignment is completely screwed. Mission starts with heading 219° while INS shows 60°. Degradation is off in options. Do I miss here something? Edit: Every start a get a different heading. 60°, 80°, 120°,... Edit2: And the mission crashes few minutes after takeoff... I don't have this issues with other missions or campaigns in the M2000
