  1. thankyou for posting this! It amazes me how many WW1 aircraft were produced.
  2. There is a thread for these vids, cba to find it atm though. A very good post, begs me to ask the inevitable however.. Is it real? I thought that the slipstream would blow somebody over if it was that close. Like standing on the edge of a platform when a high-speed train goes past.
  3. Jesus! - You actually fed a troll for 8 pages! Moderate a discussion mate.. Moderate.. Not inflame it! ---> A.S, I am not using this for the purposes of Ad Hominem, but what is your age and your background in science? I ask age, because when I was younger I also had such a passion for trying to 'change the world', in my own little way. This is admirable. I also ask what your background in science is. This is not to ridicule you (I have no scientific education), but to simply find where you 'deviated' from the 'accepted' scientific beliefs. Essentially I'm asking you to explain what outcome you are trying to acheive here. This is not a negative or positive thing. I am not taking sides. My aim is simply to have a logical debate, with no pointless ad hominem and 'tit-for-tat' arguing.
  4. Bandwith Exceeded, Upgrade Today! I could play that game all day on some sites.. sigh
  5. Hehehehe, yeah, I think we can top the AI sometimes! Your eye sounds really bad with the bleeding, ouch.. Hope it's ok now. (Btw Good save on the camera Endo! ;) When I used to crash my downhill bike it was also a priority to save, the human body (subconsciously) comes second..)
  6. Until I saw the track as an attatchment I thought you meant IRL! In which case i'll probably win in the Stupidity Factor. I was bleeding the brakes on my bike and afterwards put the remaining DOT4-fluid in a lucozade-style bottle and screwed the top on. Now if you've seen these bottles you'll know what i'm on about. There is a rubber diaphragm to stop water dripping out - much like the one found in Shower Gel bottles that you hang in the shower (it stops them leaking). You have to apply a certain amount of pressure before anything comes out, and when it does it takes the form of a concentrated jet of liquid. Anyway there's also a click-top, basically a lid that you click on to make everything double secure. Mainly I suppose the lid is there to make sure the bottle is hygenic when on the shelves in shops. As i'd be storing the DoT4, and it reacts with even the moisture in air (and paint), I needed to check there was no air in the bottle. I compressed the bottle [with both lids off], until the brake-fluid was level with the top [no air inside], and then screwed on the lid with the diaphragm. Happy that there was no air inside to spoil the DoT4 I then pushed on the 'clicky' lid. I'm not sure about you, but as a man I like to ensure that everything is 'double secure'. Oviously the best way to check that a bottle isn't going to leak is to squeeze it a little bit. No problems there. (Did I mention that DOT-4 fluid reacts with moisture? It goes a bit 'warm' when you get it on your hands, and dries them out.) I gave it a little squeeze and the lid didn't budge. I could see that some liquid had made its way into the threads of the lid though, and leant down to get a closer look, giving it another squeeze at the same time. At that moment, with my eye about a foot away, the 'clicky' lid popped off. As a result the diaphragm fired a pressurised jet of DOT4 into my right eye, completely washing it out. I thought I was going to go blind, I went mad! I ran inside with my eyeball burning and rinsed it out (with water) in the kitchen sink for about 5 minutes. I think it took about 8 hours until my eye stopped streaming. In the end though I didn't call the NHS, I went on Google instead and found it'd probably be ok. It didn't much feel like it at the time lol. Don't know if anyone can top that in terms of sheer, lazy stupidity?
  7. lol, that's just answered what they are, haven't thought of that for about 10 years! (since I tried to make an Airfix Apache at the age of 10)
  8. Better pilots or not - which country do you think got it right when it comes to capability? lol
  9. Just wondering if anyone actually has a FFB cushion, chair or buttkicker that is 'good' for flight simming. The major gripe I have with flight sims is that I want to feel the aircraft fly, and not having a FFB joystick i'm really asking for any other options. There are a few other threads but nothing specifically about the different options, and user's reviews, so I thought i'd post a new thread hoping people could reccommend absoluteley anything and everything. Every little helps, cheers :) (btw I'll be getting a FFB joystick later on this year.. but why stop at that?)
  10. Hmm, cheers for the link mate. Couldn't find much on this..
  11. Grrrr I really want this to work (don't we all). Just nipped back on the iVibe site (it's been 6 months..) and same old, same old.. Are there any alternatives apart from ButtKicker folks?
  12. Hehe, not strictly the motto for the MoD
  13. Just in case somebody didn't read the whole article I thought i'd paste here. EDIT: haha looks like I missed it!
  14. Ahh.. the old enemy.. (laziness ;))
  15. Asking how many female pilots fly online was a serious question?
  16. Good one mate, awaiting your review!
  17. Hmm, I see we get the good old $300 = €300 that we got for DCS: BS :( Out of interest, will it ever feature FFB in the rudder pedals, or is that out of question?
  18. So what's the actual news here? A prototype T-50 is 'reported' to have been constructed? Or a mock T-50 is 'reported' to have been constructed to ground-test? (I take it that means wind tunnel/radar range for LO testing) (I had the impression from the word usage in the Topic Title that a prototype had been made that could obviously fly)
  19. Nothing to do with Red Flag?
  20. And I thought you were laughing at his expanse! #chortle#.. Urghhh.. lol
  21. Yeah, thanks for the link, read it before but since lost it.
  22. More fun to jump in and kill stuff in.. I think it'd be great if DCS became like FSX, in terms of 3rd party addons (obviously only available at the level of Black Shark). Just imagine the battlefield if only 4x different types of helicopter were flying, for instance Mi-8 & Black Shark vs AH-64 & Black Hawk.
  23. How the hell do you find these things? lol
