Amen to that mate. I actually bought M1TP2 last year for the manual, reminded me of a time when you actually used your imagination and HAD MORE FUN than most games nowadays. (Command and Conquer is another one, with the in-game cut scenes with actual actors).

I need to buy a new GPU before I can play Arma2, and seeing how excellent the graphics can be is just making me smile thinking that eventually (even in a year) i'll be able to make that huge leap. Currently i'm just playing BF2 because it's simple, I'll have a huge grin when I play this ;)

This is a brilliant film, I watched it as a young teenager and can still remember the gist of it (and the futility of war). Also, nobody mentioned The Longest Day. I haven't seen that in a long time, but it is a classic and shouldn't be left out. D-Day. Can anybody give any WW1 films? There have been a fair few, very poigniant as well. Just can't think of any off the top of my head. Oh, also another classic, about the commando/intelligence raid to destroy the Norweigian-based facility the Nazis used to create 'heavy water'.. Can't recall the name... Any ideas folks?

Always confuses me why people like having high definition models/textures of things you'll only see from a min of 200m, and mostly several miles (through a weapon display screen). Can imagine it being fun for the 3D artists though. Only moaning if it has an effect on my FPS!

Ahh right, I was talking about the Single Player mode (offline). I play BF2 a fair bit, and do love the format of the game (Conquest). Sounds like a whole lot of fun!

Hmm, didn't notice but this mod does a disc check to ensure that you have GT Legends (the cars are ported [?] from that game).. eBay here we come.. Funnily enough I don't play rFactor as much as I should because I find it gives me bad habits on the real road lol. It's probably my 2001 FFB steering wheel, who knows.

Sorry mate, to clarify I meant it was corridoor as in you have a level Start and End. Unless it's like Op Flashpoint with [rather] open maps and objectives?

No doubt excellent sounds and graphics, but it sort of reminds me how games of this genre haven't particularly progressed. Just another 6hrs of 'corridoor', dressed up nicely. As long as it's fun though (i'm not miffed or anything) don't mean to sound like a snob!

Why try to reinvent the wheel perhaps..? lol It's as ugly as the F-22, not quite as bad as the F-35 though! :) Would be interested to hear what systems are proposed to be put into it. As we all know F-22 & F-35 aren't all about the hardware..
