  1. " ~ legally safer" ? The KS "contract" is done once the KS pledge period ends... the same as a sale. eg The seller announces a 14 day period in which all goods are on sale at half price - that period ends and the price goes up again. you miss out if you're not there at the time. For RRG to announce the change before the KS ends, may work to pull a in few of those "unsure" or hanging out until later though.
  2. Hyper Threading needs to be ON for the operating System to work properly and all cores enabled in BIOS I read through but couldn't ascertain if you have your sim installed into the default C:\ Program Files. Core Parking... how did you turn that off? Threaded Optimisation, is an NVidia setting. (I haven't used AMD/ATI for so long now... there may be an equivalent under a different name?)
  3. Install the sim to a directory outside of the C:\ Program Files for starters (providing the sim Root Folder with Full Permissions as well) and turn off (set it to OFF not AUTO) Threaded Optimisation in the NVidia Control Panel (or AMD/ ATI Control Panel, if it has it). Turn off Core Parking (in Registry it must be done - be careful and research fully first)
  4. use the word filter, Luke
  5. "Hmmm how about the Crimea and Turkey areas in DCS at the moment ? " erm... are you calling that "low quality"?
  6. Personally, I think the N.W. Europe and S.E. Britain thing has been done to death... and if it has to be done again, it really needs to be one large London to Berlin map. Eastern Front, is currently being done (so why offer competition there... wait a bit) Meditterranean... (Africa, Italy, Baltic, Southern Europe) hardly attempted PTO... done before, and quite popular (but again, it needs to be a large map True... if you have the forts, you need somewhere convincing to set out from generic or low quality any area... wouldn't be DCS:
  7. Disable HEADROLL and the head left to right functions in the TIR software? (leaving Tilt, Pan, Zoom only)
  8. There may be the two branches, but they should be the one world
  9. It seems, you've had your say (which you are entitled to have) and that should be that... no need to paint the pages here yellow. Quite a leap? Another sim in the making has a similar base to work from, perhaps you'd be happier there?
  10. " ~ $375k is alot to ask for, never mind $1m ~ " I guess that is why it is called a "stretch" :music_whistling:
  11. Well, that's the thing they have said and continue to to get across to people... "WE ARE ONLY AT THE VERY EARLY STAGES OF DEVELOPMENT". They can't stress this enough and continue to stress it. They've been upfront, they've been honest (haven't tried the hardsell) and more importantly, they have been straightforward. If you don't want to pledge at this stage, great - its your choice... but to continue to demand more product, when that product isn't done yet, just leads some to ask the obvious, and that is: "just what part of the rhetoric aren't you quite understanding?"
  12. and a bird (in the closing few seconds of the OP 'tube) which actually looks like it is flying
  13. @Harrysound... one thing to try, is set the Threaded Optimisation option, in the NVidia Control Panel, to Off not Auto. (or its equivalent in ATI/ AMD) the 59.74 rate is a more than likely a cause of the monitor stutter, Zaelu (which, obviously, is different to a FPS stutter) as some "computer monitors" are actually televisions screens with the television bits removed.
  14. yep... even noted the qualifiers in my post
  15. well, in that case PeterP, all you need to do is refer back to post #25, as you seem to have an understanding of your current "no clue" in your then following post. A block? - childish antics indeed
  16. @PeterP... I'll explain it to you on PM to save detracting the thread ;)
  17. Thanks Doveman... got it (I think) seems to just bring up the row entries instead of scrolling the columns and reading across
  18. @PeterP... I believe it was a request made of you, is there some reason that you won't?
  19. I don't run ArmA but how does that differ from Command Name on the left and assignments listed in respective controllers going across to the right? I mean, its just a spreadsheet Saitek doesn't... double assignments, on the same device in software, will cause a crash (or at least it used to the last time I inadvertently did that ;) )
  20. Perhaps you should as it does make a difference /- and obviously it doesn't. The one thing about this sim, and its unique for it in that if you're getting frustrated... its usually not the sim
  21. "I only wish I knew what the thinking was behind all those redundant columns" Apparently, they're only redundant for some? Others seem happy and others again want other features.
  22. I don't find that bad, as is either... except for having to clear out the cross column entries. Though if brought up to being a truly modern system, it seems it would keep some happy
  23. Well, there's no need for rudeness :music_whistling: Is there something bad about being adaptable? (most would think that to be a good thing) Try CH Manager out of its TIE IN mode and sorting some spare USB slots for you to swap things in and out of and leave your control gear constant and clearing out your multitude of ghost entries (non-present devices which are listed all over the place) be careful with the VGA though ;)
