  1. Tried but no way. Leap motion is NOT available in the drop down on the VR tab but just on the special tab...
  2. Thanks. Will have a try this evening...
  3. Hi edmuss, Do I understand correctly that setting hands leap via the VR tab you get 2.8 hands/cockpit interraction behavior ? So you cannot take advantage og the 2.9 leap sliders ? Right ?
  4. I am in V2 as well. The problem is not about tracking but about hand/avionic interaction (with hands, not laser) that works worst thon in 2.8 apparently because of displacement and cockpit mesh 3D position.
  5. Hi Apostle Agree with your conclusion with also a kind of displacement. One can activate a button pressing just below it. Probably the reason why if one click somewhere with a button/switch above it the action is erractic (typically what I was saying for the bingo button on the F18) Hope this can be fixed soon
  6. Hi, Same here and LeapMotion cockpit interraction broken as well.
  7. Hi DCS, First thanks for the patch with big amount of work Howerver virtual hand interaction via Leapmotion (ultraLeap in fact) worked quite well, at least for me in version 2.8, with a success rate close to 95% on buttons and switches all over the F18 cockpit. Since version 2.9, the interaction is completely broken. - interaction with buttons no longer works or works erratically - when by some miracle I manage to toggle a switch, it's impossible to do the opposite action. - touch seems to be out of place on some buttons. For example, on the F18, when I activate the bingo button, the one above is activated (when it works). Please DCS give us back our hands... And by the way why don't you removed the "hands move the hotas" function ? Going through the forum it's clear that NOBODY will NEVER use it!! It's just a nightmare that introduce the "hand diseaoearing" bug!! Please go on with usefull things. Thanks
  8. Hi everyone, Does the leap work for you in 2.9 ? Certainly axis sliders are handy but, at least for me, hand/cockpit interraction was working like a charm in 2.8 but is completely broken in 2.9. - Button interraction is erratic if any - interraction with button seems displaced (at least in the F18 like for the Bingo fuel button for exemple) - it's sometime possible to interact with interuptor but when I switch them then impossible to interracrt again... Please give us back our hands
  9. Cool. Thanks
  10. Hi, Didn't yet have opportunity to test 2.9. Any improvement with (Ultra)Leap VR hand ?
  11. Hi, A move deprived me of the computer for a few months, followed by a change of computer now up to standard (the other dated from 2009) to be able to continue this project more serenely.
  12. Hy, Cleanup and repair. Still crashing Any idea ?
  13. Hi Flappie. Note that I have no mods install, just official DCS. The game don't crash until the plane hits the ground. Then VR view comes grey and the sounds continues until I hit the esc key and following CTD Will try a repair and let you know. Thanks
  14. Hi, Systematic CTD. Another log. Hope it helps. Thanks dcs.log
  15. Hi, Running latest DCS beta in MT/VR. Systematic crash here when plane (F18) crash on the ground after being hit. Two logs attached. Thanks dcs.log-20231010-214002.zip dcs.log-20231010-201852.zip
  16. Leap2 works like a charm for me with the F18 and latest OB. Very precise and 95% sucsess on inter and pushbuttons. Rotary is more tricky. I suggest a solution to DCS. Who knows...
  17. Thanks MAXsenna
  18. Hi evryone, I was running DCS on a old computer with about 300H as per the logbook. I am now running DCS on a brand new computer with about 30H as per today in the new logbook. Is it possible to merge the new with the old logbook ? Thanks
  19. Hi, Excellent idea!! Z position slider would be vers usefull
  20. Hi edmuss, Thanks for the tips, I didn't know that both were related... Will give a try... Yes I already experienced hilary things with landing gear, hoock and even ejection Hope the rotaries problem can be fixed sooner (or later) Thanks again.
  21. Hi, Another sugestion for rotary here :
  22. Hi DCS developers, The introduction of VR is an invaluable asset for the immersion of virtual flights, but the reliance on the mouse for interaction with the avionics substantially detracts from this. DCS offers native support for Leap Motion, and once we've got the hang of it, we are able to overcome this problem when it comes to interacting with buttons and switches. However, interaction with the rotators remains extremely difficult and random. A simple and effective solution could be quickly implemented, however, using native recognition of thumb and index finger interaction with avionics, in particular rotators, as follows: -Thumb right hand: counter-clockwise rotation -Right-hand index finger: clockwise rotation -Thumb left hand: clockwise rotation -Left index finger: anti-clockwise rotation This perfectly intuitive behavior would effectively solve the rotator problem with LeapMotion hands at low price coding development. What do you think ? And if you could fix the right hand diseapearing problem this would be awesome. Thanks
  23. Hi speed-of-heat, I will have à try. Thanks
  24. Hi everyone, I am wondering if it's possible to freeze momentanary the VR headset view independently that you move your head ? I'm also wondering if it's possible to parmetrise the travel of the virtual view (like for Track IR) so that, for example, when you look 3/4 back, the view is completely behind you ? Thanks
  25. Hi, Could someone teach me how to set Snapviews... I search on the internet and the procedure should be : 1) go cockpit (2D) 2) move to the desired position then press the snapview you want (assuming key binding LWIN+keypad 0 for snapview 0) and then save with RALT+keypad0. 3) redo step 2 for any other snapview However it doesn't work... What am I doing wrong ? Thanks
