[FIXED INTERNALLY] Static Object <10 mile Visibility Distance

It appears this 'fix' is no longer required according to @NineLine's post - -
I understand mavericks dont require boresighting on air starts but do they require boresighting on a hotstart on the ground?

Granted I'm still on the learning curve with the Mosquito but I struggle to get her above 230 fully laden in level flight with boost at 12 and rpm set to 2650. The P47 i can easily whip up to 270 with a full load. Probably user error on my part though. Still, its an enjoyable learning curve

Maybe it's just me, but does the P-47D feel a lot more nimble than the Mosquito? Do pilots use different curves for these aircraft? Historically, was the P-47 more agile than the Mosquito? Or it could simply be that perhaps I'm babying the Mosquito a bit given its size compared to the Thunderbolt

Flying at a few thousand feet at around 200kts and the wind noise is very loud...almost like I have the canopy open. Can hardly hear myself speak with voiceattack. Should it be this noisy?

So normally I have curves for pitch and roll (positive 25 curve). Now, if my wheel brakes are set to y axis (left wheel) and z axis (right wheel) on my pedals and I've had to invert both axis on 'Axis Tune' so pressing the pedal activates the brake instead of releasing it, does my curve then need to be negative given that the axis is now inverted?

How did I miss that? Thanks

Is there any way to assign frequencies to a radio channel in the mission editor (or in cockpit)? Currently running missions via BR4DCS and in the editor I can assign a frequency to Ch1 it seems but not to any of the other channels. So I'm kinda stuck in comms with the Tower and to no other assets.

Great find !
-
Ditto. Takes me a whle t find it also. Hope it's not reflective of their attitude towards VR!
-
Great....Thanks for these! Much better than the basic missions I created for myself.

OK..for any other Quest 2 users out there who have the same problem with the update of OpenComposite, check out my conversation on the OpenComposite Discord #Bugs channel for a fix. (Essentially replacing the vrclient_x64.dll with the previous version of openvr_api.dll to roll back).
-
I've mentioned this on the OpenComposite discord. I'm wondering is it an issue peculiar to Quest 2.
-
Yes. Was a small update.

ARG. Deleted my OpenComposite folder. Reinstalled OpenComposite. Now all my apps (DCS, IL2, MSFS) are missing from the config window, even after running them. OK. Got the apps back. But still getting the same original error outlined in first post.

Updated OpenComposite this morning and now neither DCS nor IL2 will launch in VR with an OpenXR error (https://pastebin.com/fwvCM9YP). Is there any way to roll back OpenComposite to the previous version?

Is this for WMR headesets only? Does it work with Quest 2? -
Ok. So I'm running at the brink of quality and performance I think. Get a good 36fps steady on heavy missions with lots of aircraft and vehicles - 2x MSAA and running fholger's FSR. But, if I restart the mission or choose a follow on mission, the fps crashes to 9fps. I have to quit out of DCS, restart the oculus service and on occasion reboot the headset to get 36fps again. Do other s experience the same?
