Was this ever fixed? Flying Hornets and my wingman calls Bingo after covering only 70nm, then ejects a couple of minutes later!! -

Found a post from Niehorst which suggested adding a deadzone to the slew axis control which appears to be a workaround.

Is there a problem / bug with TGP slew axis? When I try to slew the TGP (which is SOI and AG Mode is set to CCRP) with my slew axis button on TWCS, the TGP camera seems to go crazy...almost as if it's pointing at own plane fuselage. I try to slew it back to the targets (I've superimposed other waypoints on target area) and although the HSD would suggest I have slewed onto the target area, the TGP is completely somewhere else. On a side note, I cannot get TGP to go into point / area /INR track with TMS UP, ever. Impossible to work with unfortunately.

Slewing the TGP moves your waypoint also??? Surely that can't be right?

Ah, I downloaded the shaders mod from here which doesn't include that file (NVD_HDR.fx). If the file size / date is the same I'd say it's OK to overwrite. [EDIT] Just checked and they're not the same file size so I'd install the Flat Shadows removal first and then Kegety's and test it that way :)

Thanks Razalom. I've had a look at the file structure on both mods and although they use some of the same folders, I can't see any file conflicts.

I use the VR shaders mod also and would like to know if this mod breaks it or otherwise interferes with it.

I'd be interested in this also. Just a simple LUA script to randomize time / weather / season. Had a look at MOOSE but dont see anything that would do this.

Been playing around with this mission for a bit and have noticed that no other allied (blue) planes spawn. I've seen a few Migs on CAP , but other than my aircraft and the tankers and AWACs, I see no other allied flights. Is this the way it's supposed to be or am I missing something?

[ALL MODULES][SP/CO-OP] Liberation Dynamic Campaign

Trying to add an aircraft to Liberation and following the wiki which says to edit the db.py file in the Liberation/game/ folder. Problem is there is no '/game' folder and no file named db.py in the entire liberation folder. Anyone have an answer? [EDIT] OK..have realised that I need to make the changes in the source and then re-install the python package. Problem is I don't know how to :( I've tried using pyinstaller and pip but have no idea which file to target them to or what parameters to use. Any help would be greatly appreciated :) [EDIT2] Also, when i try to pull / fetch submodules there is no .gitmodules file in the repository so I created one as follows: [submodule "dcs"] path = submodules/dcs url = https://github.com/shdwp/dcs_liberation.git but it still doesn't seem to pull anything. I'm doing all this on a wing and a prayer with virtually no knowledge, so any pointers appreciated. -

So, just upgraded from CV1 to Rift S and seem to remember reading somewhere that Rift S Pixel Density doesn't need to be as high as CV1's due to it architecture. Have I misread this somewhere or it it correct? If correct, what setting would be equivalent to 1.5 PD on CV1?

Somewhat off-topic, but I found a tool here on the forums - Combatflite ( https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=195724 ) which I find useful with HQ4DCS. Create a mission with HQ4DCS. Save. Import mission with Combatflite - but exclude red coalition (or blue if you're sided with red). Now you can generate a mission data card (via the kneepad menu) with the benefit of having no real knowledge of red units, positions, etc other than the intel brief from HQ4DCS. Combatflite obviously has a ton of other uses too but I've really only started dipping into this tool. And on topic again, I agree. HQ4DCS is a fantastic app and I hope the dev is continuing to work on Open Beta 2. -

The Dev apparently is working on Open Beta 2 of HQ4DCS. Not sure how far off a release is. Last commit appears to be August. https://github.com/akaAgar/headquarters-for-dcs -

Imacken - I guess you're stuck with creating a mission for say F-15C, opening in mission editor and changing the aircraft to the F-5, saving and running the saved mission. At least until v2 of the HQ4DCS is released. -
