Any chance of adding a 2 position switch command to the landing gear handle controls?

I wish I'd checked this before I bought a hornet campaign. It's virtually unplayable now. Hopefully it's fixed soon

Ah maybe it's the clouds then. There s quite a thick layer that they fly above. Do the SEAD flights only go for radar SAMs?

I'm only 2 missions in. Can't remember the codes off hand. I assigned Trimmer and Fish as SEAD flights on both missions with payloads of 2x harms and 2x maverick F's for each aircraft. So far they haven't engaged anything and just fly around.

Just picked this campaign up and trying to get to grips with it. Am I supposed to be telling my SEAD flights where they should be operating? They don't seem to do anything and land back with all their missiles

Yep only easy comms seems to work. The chatter is not set to Russian either. Hopefully it gets an update soon.

I didn't like using the English ones so I used the ones from the Russian version. Much more authentic.

I've just uploaded my version of the KA50 deployment campaign to the user files section. It needs to be reviewed but hopefully it'll be ready to download soon. It's a modified version of MadDog-IC's KA50 version so most of the work was done by him. I've just adapted it to fit the Hind better. I haven't had much time to fully test it so consider it a beta version. Any issues please let me know and I'll try to fix it asap. Sorry to drag this old post up. I always thought my pc sound setup was holding the sound in dcs back until I recent tried a new game. The 5.1 sound is amazing and brings a whole new immersion. Is there any way to fill the rear speakers more within dcs?

It's the same for the mi8 as well though and that's been around for years. It's like the radio isn't tuned to the correct frequency but if I close voice attack /vaicom it works perfectly by selecting using the F keys. Easy comms works fine

Thanks. It's the Syrian quick missions that is in English. The other seem to be in russian.

Thanks for the reply. It's not due to old mission but I have found out comms work fine with VAICOM with easy comms switched on.

Is there anyway to change the Hind's wingman language/voice to russian? It feels strange in english.

No one has this issue? Any possible ideas what could be causing it?

How do the radios work? I can't find anywhere to set the frequency and it looks like you can only change the presets.

I'm having a problem with the MI8 and Hind that doesn't seem to affect any other modules I own. When I instruct my wingman to do a command I get the comformation beeps and the voice attack screen shows it's recognised my command but nothing happens in game. Some times there is a huge delay of many minutes before my wingman responds but other times nothing happens at all. I've tried without viacom so I know the radios are set up correctly.

A temporary solution until ED fix it.

Literally my post above yours. Turn off motion smoothing in steam wmr. Fixed it completly for me.

I had a terrible problem with dcs not loading at all and the cpu always at 100%. This is with a hp reverb and steam vr. I worked out if I open the task manager and ended 'steamtours' it works perfectly with no crashes at all. It took ages to work out and might help someone with the same problem.
