  1. The Business Development Director, said it would be coming before the end of the year in an interview. With the free to play event and basically no news since November, (also not even a separate forum) I’m not overly convinced that’s still true. I’ll keep an eye in though, just in case ED decides to do a surprise drop, which I suppose is entirely possible, they’ve been very good to us this year. If they’re feeling insanely generous, they may even put it in the free to try promotion
  2. I wasn’t expecting this! Good luck guys, you’re definitely going to need it. See you in a couple of years.
  3. Thanks been meaning to look this up. The ka50 really is very cool, regret not getting it earlier. It’s got a great nav, weapons and flight model.
  4. can I hide the stick to see the hsd better?
  5. That’s what I do, I don’t name waypoints pp1, I use the dedicated ntp page. Thanks for giving the correct name.
  6. I can’t seem to get the pp points from the mission editor, to actually be imported into the jet. I name the points eg “PP1” under the dedicated tab. When I load the data cartridge etc they’re not present in the weapon pp mode. They do work from the f10 map however. I assume it’s my fault. I checked the known issue list, couldn’t see it there.
  7. +1 it’s tedious messing with the cartridge. When I dump her on the runway, I want her ready. It would be nice if deka would consider, negating the cartridge altogether, with an option in the mission editor.
  8. Legend. Now I can actually start using the jef, to it’s full potential.
  9. Is the module manual available online?
  10. Can I load the data cartridge in the mission editor, so I don’t have to fuss with it on takeoff? I always takeoff hot or with auto start.
  11. Just needs sone finishing touches and lighting bug fixes, it’s pretty damn good as is.
  12. Im taking off hot from the runway. I reload the data cartridge to bring up the data page, then select all the data to be loaded on the mfcd, then press “enter” on the mfcd interface. The data is locked and recognised by the jet (nav data, weapons etc are correct), it then starts giving a warning audio message and displaying “warn” on the hud. The fault panel has a red “config” on it. What am I doing wrong?
  13. Grim reapers tutorials can sometimes be a bit rushed, or very rough around the edges. I do actually find them very useful for getting to the point though. A lot of the time I’m in the jet, I’ve forgotten a certain step, so I jam on one of Cap’s tutorials and I'm away in seconds. He does get much better as he learns the module to. Cap’s control tutorials are also my first point of call when I get a new module, overall GR stuff is quite decent and very useful for someone who just wants to put warheads on foreheads. Thanks for posting and thanks to Cap, for helping me bind hundreds of complex controls across many modules.
  14. Thanks. I did find this myself last night, just couldn’t remember where I’d seen it and searching the manual for keyword, was getting a bit frustrating.
  15. Anyone know how to change the radar altimeter floor, or silence the warning?
  16. That’s researching anything to do with military aviation for you. When it comes to DCS, I settle for very accurate when possible, very convincing when not possible.
  17. It’s only on open beta branch. If your on open beta and it won’t update, either wait, or download skatezillas dcs updater utility, you can force an update from there. The other method is via a command line on windows.
  18. Took my first blast around nevada, so fast and smooth, pulling 9g turns with ease. Now to settle in for EA, at the end (including the hornet) We’ll have something very special. Thank you ED team.
  19. Excellent! Thank you for your time and effort.
  20. Hope that’s not true. He didn’t make an f14 guide for a long time, for some work related reason I believe. He then later made the f14 guide, adding a more prominent disclaimer at the beginning iirc.
  21. Roger dodger. It’s absolutely fine for me, as I’m an SP guy.
  22. Is it possible to bind the adjuster knob for the radar altimeter? If so, what is it listed under? I’ve tried a few things, non of them appear to be it.
  23. This is more what I’m getting at, as opposed to a release date. I suppose it more relates to EDs preorder policy/procedure with this module. I’m sure many others are in a similar situation, it’s not a huge price difference, it would just be nice to know if there is a concrete answer.
