A-10s and F-15s vs Su-25Ts and Su-27s. Nevada. Red Flag. I like this whole FC3 thing. Better external graphics, lighting/shadows, and who knows what else. I really just hope that When FC3 is finished, we can CLEARLY see a difference between FC2 and FC3. My worry is that it'll end up being the same product with a very well done patch. And people have brought this up in other threads: will the Flaming Cliffs series just continue to FCx, or will the DCS series adopt one engine for good and have closely tied DCS/FC products, having each new module fit perfectly into the existing base of products? I mean, ED can't continue to do this "Lockon -> DCS -> compatability development-> Lockon II-> DCS -> compatibiltiy development -> Lockon III, etc." pattern, can it? Nonetheless, godspeed developers, testers; continue to make these products which we love so much. -Goose

Yes, it appears that this whole entire thread is in fact a large 30ish post joke (minus a few here and there). LOL OT much guys??

Take On Helicopter - New game by Bohemia Interactive
The Flying Goose replied to Eight Ball's topic in Chit-Chat
They say that they have a far less complicated start up procedure than BS. I'm guessing, that there will be a better FM than say, FSX, but I think that it might be slightly more basic to control comapred to DCS. Mainly speculating here on the article on the previous page, and knowing that this probably won't be aiming at the hard core study simmer, but more of the mainstream FSX type, so don't necessarily take my word for it, but for now, I think this is a pretty good bet. -
http://forums.eagle.ru/forumdisplay.php?f=147 :smartass: Really. There's a whole subforum. Someone had asked what types of graphical improvements we can expect in the Nevada theatre. Can I ask this again?

Call it creepy, but whenever the technology/programming becomes used in DCS, I certainly hope to be minding my own business and suddenly to have a huge bloody mess (no pun...) across my cockpit windscreen... all the bloodied up feathers to go with it too.:D At first I'd jump but I've got to admit I'd be grinnin right afterwards.:P Oh, and raindrops on the glass :music_whistling:

Eagle Dynamics Twitter/Facebook updates
The Flying Goose replied to Haukka81's topic in DCS: A-10C Warthog
Might we expect a list of changes for version 1.1.0.7 sometime soon? Seems like you guys are pretty close here. EDIT: also: http://a-10c.com/en/downloads/misc/mi-24_model_templates/ ... I think this is new, no? -
It would have been really cool to have this next. But it's just about out of everyone's control save the good folks at TFC/ED. It is a nice bird nonetheless.

This is the video that Geskes made in response to one of the A-10 west demo videos. I think ED did a nice job with the FM for the most part.

Crosswind landings fun - a community challenge

My best shot at it ... :pilotfly:. A solid attempt....trk -
Hannibal, Isn't any cockpit with TM Warthog's a fun cockpit? You don't need and of this chair stuff. You've got all you need! Really, though, that's a nice lil setup you have there, but I do get excited every time I see a TM Warthog stick .... I want it!

MCAS Miramar Air Show 2010 (Warning Lots of Pics!)
The Flying Goose replied to SuperKungFu's topic in Military and Aviation
Great Pictures here! The whole thing looks like it was a lot a fun. Sean D Tucker sure does get around. The man must have a very busy schedule. Anyways I was kinda thinkin that whenever I can't sleep I get, get a glass of water and maybe a bite to eat. Come to think of it, never once did I consider getting up and driving two hours to an airshow.:music_whistling: Good for you man! -
Excellent, excellent work guys. You guys are so awesome for doing all this preview stuff and keeping us informed.

I haven't had a chance to say so yet but thanks to ED for all this info on the Hog! I was getting a little anxious there for a while for some tidbits and knowledge like GA's Project 10 or Producer's note 3 (RIP PNs, your legacy has been passed on to training mission videos) but this is even better. It's kinda funny though because I still have the bookmark for the Russian DCS A-10C page that came out like a year and a half ago or sometime like that. And now after a year or so of nothing there we finally get DCS.com A-10C 2.0! Just checked and the link no longer works (I don't know how long it's been off) but it would have been cool to see how it's changed... In short: To ED,:thumbup::thumbup: Nice work guys!

Or you can try and run but you wont get too far in the half second before the 30mm stream of API/HEI party mix finds you and shows you what it fells like to get ripped apart. Just thought I'd throw that out there.:music_whistling:
